I was walking down the street, well not much of a street and more like a dirt path between multiple houses.
This is a farming village after all not a secure city or town.
I just realized but a lot of people are eyeing me now, not a bad thing it's just unusual for a kid my age to be wearing a sword on his back (Since the sword is too big to put on my waist, I'm still a kid after all!)
Abel walked to the village outskirts, a long outstretched field of grass where cattle graze.
My grandfather was doing what a bard to the best, singing stories at the local tavern. A hit story of his is that of his grandson slaying wolves, of course, he only mentioned that I could fire Magic to the villager like my mother.
Thanks to that I've been called the blazing wolf slayer! Now that I have a sword on my back it only served to fuel their imagination.
Outsiders think I can only use fire magic.
My family thinks I can use both fire magic and augmentation magic.
While my grandfather thinks I can use light magic in addition to fire and augmentation!
While in reality, I can use all the elements as well the augmentation, I also have the body inferno skill.
Today I just got my sword so I wanted to test it out in the forest, but I have a problem.
My Father is tracking me, he has been following me for quite a while now. I guess he is just worried that I might hurt myself with the sword and bleed out without anyone noticing.
He is right in his concerns, I was planning on testing my limits in the forest which is dangerous.
I will be satisfied with just practice swings today.
I stooped in front of a decently sized tree at the forest edge. My father hid in the bushes far behind, monitoring my actions.
I can't do anything too flashy, let's just start with regular swings.
I drew my sword and held it with two hands in front of me, imagining the wolves fighting again.
I imagined a wolf jumping at me so I slashed it, then another one, and another from behind.
I'm surrounded, I jumped using the augmentation magic and then shoot a fireball at the ground causing a beautiful fire to rise.
My father seems to be getting worried, he looks as if he is about to jump towards me then stops.
If I needed to live a normal life while having this much power I need them to know, my parents are going to be a hurdle if I don't let them join as well.
Using fire Magic I launched myself towards the bush when my father was hiding, forcefully landing with a bang.
"Dad, you came to train with me as well?" I asked the Bush.
"When did you find me?" Bush replied and my father got out.
"Halfway through the city, at first I thought we might just have the same paths but you followed me to here!" I replied.
My father laughed, he then shakes his head.
"No way I can keep up with you, you have skills and not me!" my father said.
I signaled for my father to come closer.
"I'm going to tell you a secret, Look!"
A light flashed from my hand, It was the holy healing light from the light magic. My father jumped as the light startled him, he never expected that.
" You can use three elements? How come that is possible? Who else knows?" He asked.
"Grandfather, he saw it at the wolves fight, I asked him to keep it a secret for the time being!" As I said that my father looked at me with a sad look, Is he sad that I told grandpa but not him?
"To think we're holding you back this much! You best get into a noble family who could nourish the second triple crowned!" My father stated with a sad face.
Ah, shit! this is why I didn't want to tell them, I know they will feel guilty for keeping me in since we can't even afford school, they didn't even realize I could already read and write, by the way, my father can't he is illiterate. Mom on the other hand can somewhat read but not write.
"Listen to me for a moment, you're my parents, family! How can I leave you? This is the reason I want to suggest something!" I said with as much of a confident voice I can.
Let's join the adventurer guild, the three of us. Will grind the money to live in the city from that!
"No, we can't do that! You might be able to fight but not your mother even if she has a skill, and forgot about a skilless man like me! I won't even be accepted at the adventure guild!" Father said, refusing my suggestion.
" A Triple crowned mage is supposed to be a power that can change a whole country with just its presence in it! Who I'm if I can't even change my family?" I said touching my father's shoulder.
[Enchantment magic]+[Augmentation Magic]= [Boost] I used enchanting magic to transfer a bit of the Augmentation magic to father, with this we can the Augmentation skill between us, effectively making it seems as if my father got the Augmentation skill.
There is a catch though, we have a limited amount, 3 stat per level of the skill and I have to choose how to spend them on my father or myself! And it will consume the host mana so my father MP will run dry quickly.
As he felt the power surging through his body, father stood up and looked me in the eyes in disbelief.
"What is this?" He asked.
"My augmentation skill is a bit special, I can use it on other people, with limitations of course but we can make do with what we have, right" I replied with a smile.
I handed my father the sword so he can try it, let see if I can make this work!
