Chapter 4 - Young Master Jones is in love?

Anderson Jones, the most successful young businessman and a popular bachelor rushed into the Jones' mansion. He saw his grandmother getting treated by their maid.

"Grandma, I heard what happened from Aunt Julie."

Anderson knelt on the ground and frowned his straight and sharp brows that framed his perfect face. Nila smiled at her grandson and patted his shoulders in comfort.

"It's fine. A young lady saved me and even bought me the bag I asked for the price."

Anderson followed Nila's finger and saw the newly season bag sitting on the coffee table. A business card sat beside the box, and Anderson couldn't help but be attracted to it.

Nila seeing him taking the business card to his hand, made her think to match them together. She felt that maybe Anderson would date someone his age, especially when he's heading towards thirty. And that someone would be Celia.

"That's the business card of the girl who helped me today."

Anderson read the name, and his inside was filled with electricity. He remembered her clearly and how her death affected him. Anderson came back to the past after dying of old age and single. Celia was his first love, and he was about to propose when he heard that her ex-fiancee married her stepsister, Leah.

For a month, Celia was missing, and news of her death was discovered in the wild by the hikers. His heart broke, and he vowed to himself to secretly investigate her sudden death. It took Anderson a while to find out the murderer, and the news shook the world.

Despite living in a different country, Anderson worked hard and brought the entire Beckers to the family. They were charged with murder, kidnapping, physical abuse, and a long list of crimes they did. When the whole incident was resolved, a haggard Anderson flew back to Country X, Celia's hometown, and drove to her grave that he dug and prepared by himself.

He wept and poured his broken heart before blaming himself for not being braver. Anderson should've taken her by force and made her his even though she would hate him forever. As long as she was alive, he would be happy and content.

Growing older, he didn't marry any girl despite his mother and grandmother's appointments for blind dates. Every single holiday and birthday, Anderson would visit the grave of Celia. One time, the teenager Joseph discovered his older cousin leaving the house around dawn. Joseph followed Anderson secretly and saw him purchase a bouquet, and drove towards the cemetery.

Joseph understood what Anderson was doing, seeing Anderson smiling sadly to a gravestone and hearing him speak to the dead in a loving tone. In sadness, he drove back to the household and told his family what he had discovered.

Since then, the family didn't force Anderson to go on blind dates and left him alone every time he went to the cemetery. Until he reached the end of his life, Anderson remained faithful and loyal to Celia, who was long gone.

At present, Anderson clutched the card in his hands with a severe expression. Nila watched him with complicated eyes as she didn't understand what his sudden serious face was.

"Grandma, which store did this woman buy?"

"Oh, she bought the xxx store, located at the very center of your mall. What are you planning, Anderson?"

"Well, since she helped grandma sincerely, I think I could give her store a free rent."

Nila was shocked at her grandson's proclamation. But understanding Celia's personality, she gently shook her head in rejection.

"I don't think so. I think young Celia would disagree and even would argue for her to pay the monthly payment."

"Right, that's what I thought too. Guess she didn't change at all."

Nila raised her brows at his mutterings.

"Will it work if I brought her rent down to half?"

Nila thought for a moment and nodded her head in agreement. Anderson smiled, and Nila stared at her him in confusion.

"Well then, I'll be upstairs to take care of the plan immediately. Aunt Lilly, call me when dinner's ready."

Nila and Lilly watched Anderson go up on the second floor with skips and an exciting hop on his steps.

"Old Madam, is our Young master in love?"

Nila sighed and shook her head in confusion. She became baffled to see the cold Anderson become happy. Based on her guts, she could only guess that the card from Celia caused her grandson's happiness. If it were true, it would only make Nila wish that Anderson would pursue the young man as Nila had taken a liking to her as well as Julienne and Joseph, who had a stronger hatred towards strangers.
