JACOB's eyes followed the movement of granny's hand as she put down the cup on a rounded table. He noticed how she was getting old but still strong at age eighty-two. He could still see the sign of her beauty even at the age she is today.
"How can you notice anyone when your whole sight is glued to your wife's face."
Jacob laughed, looking at his feet. When he lifted his face, he caught her shaking her head.
"Anyway, what's the urgency you need to order me here at this ungodly hour?"
"Pick up that glass and the medicine next to it. That's for your wound."
His face brightened, and he complied with its statement. As he drank the water, his mind became busy. He realized that his grandmother was always taking care of him than her mother.
"Tell me something, Nana ..." he said after returning the glass he held to the table.
