THE COUPLE appeared on the cliff where her brother had taken her earlier. Their hands wrapped around each other.
"Wow, breathtaking sceneries here," Jacob burst. His hand remained on the sweaty back of his wife. "And the winds are soothing."
"That's why I brought you here. I was with my brother earlier this evening."
"Why?" His voice sounded alarmed. "Something happened?"
"Giving me a briefing about how to act at the party," she said, the first thing that came to her mind. She could never tell her husband what had happened earlier as she did not want him to be troubled. "Be nice to all, and extra be nice to the hustler."
Jacob chuckled, "he's right. In business, that rule is number one."
Angeline leaned on her husband's chest, damp with sweat. He could smell the fragrance of Jacob's body. It was engulfing her.
"What did you say on the dance floor?"
"I said many things back there," Angeline laughed.
