SHE FELT the feather touch of a kiss on her lips and stopped but she could feel the warm breathing on her face. She slowly opened her eyes, and they both stared at each other for a long time. It seemed no one wanted to move.
And she closed her eyes with a flurry of images in her memory. She gasped when she felt that tender caress on her cheek.
What was that I remembered suddenly? She wondered, with her eyes looking at him in wonderment. Why is this man in her memory? Was he telling her the truth a while ago?
"You're right," he said gently. "This is the right time but not the proper place for what I want in mind. Have dinner with me."
She could not reply. She felt dizzy.
"Are you all right?" He said softly, observing her with his eyes never leaving her face. "You look suddenly pale."
