The old man knew that if he had to take on two martial artists then he would need a good strategy. He had already wasted a lot of mana while he casting the magic circle for earlier. And he had been flying this whole time. That meant that the amount of mana that he currently had was nearly enough.
So the old man came to the ground. He then cast a spell on his body so that it could become as agile. The vampire also casted a spell on his body to enhance his body's performance. Both of them locked their eyes on each other. They waited till someone made the first move.
And soon the vampire did make the first move. With sabers in both of his hands, he ran towards the old man with an intent to kill. To counter the vampire's sabers, the old man joined his hands together and conjure and short sword. Then with a short sword in one hand, the old man weaved a magic circle in his other hand.
As soon as the vampire came near the old man he jumped and then tried to slam both of his sabers on the old man's face. But then the old man countered this move by jumping sideways. The old man rolled towards his side and as soon as he got up on his two feet, he immediately used the magic circle on his free hand.
That magic circle sends some round magic missiles towards his opponent. The vampire deflected those magic missiles with ease. He just used his two sabers to deflect all the magic missiles that were sent his way.
After deflecting all the magic missiles that had come his way, the vampire smiled. Seeing the smile on the face of the vampire, the old man had a bad feeling. It was then the old man felt someone was running towards him and the vampire. It was then he noticed that his teammate was also killed. And the vampire's backup was now coming.
The old man when saw that another vampire was running its way towards him, it was then he understood that now he was in big trouble. There was no way he could take on two martial artists at once. He didn't have enough mana to do that.
Seeing that the old man was caught in a dangerous situation the male vampire smiled. He then started running towards his opponent and started launching a fury of attacks. And soon the female vampire also joined in.
The female vampire had killed all the members of the old man's team single handily. And then she came to assist her partner. Then she joined the attack as well…
With both the vampires combine the old man was having a bad time keeping up with them. The old man was getting overwhelmed. But then the time came when the old man had to do something about these guys. He knew that if he continued fighting like this then this would be his end. With that thought, the old man combined his hands and send a shockwave to his surrounding.
This shockwave was so strong that it flung both the vampires in the air to a distance. While all the building of the village got totally destroyed. Now with some distance between him and the vampire, the old man finally had a chance where he could use his trump card.
The old man then suddenly conjured a small red color pill in his hands. Till that time the vampire had regained their footing. But when they all saw that red color pill in the hands of the old man, a chill ran down their spines. Both the vampires knew what that red pill was. Both of them also knew that if the old man consumes that pill then there was no way in hell that they would be able to take care of that old man.
Both the vampires were trained in close combat and they were not well versed in long-range combat. And based on the distance between them and the old man, they didn't have anyway from which they could handle the old man. So there was only one option left for them. And that was to run.
Both the vampires simultaneously started running away. But they both ran in different directions. They knew that after eating that pill the old man would let them live. So for one of them to survive, it would for the best if they ran in different directions. In this way, at least one of them would be able to survive.
The old man consumed that red pill, as soon as he saw that his opponents had started to flee. As soon as the old man consumed the red pill, that pill started sending red color energy throughout the old man's body. Soon power started surging through the old man's body.
Soon that old man started flying again. He then looked and saw that he won't be able to catch both of the vampires. He had to choose which one to go after. The old man chose the female vampire. She was the reason that her team is dead while the male vampire hadn't done any harm to him yet. That is why he started flying towards the female vampire.

The male vampire when saw that the old man was chasing after the female vampire he sighed in relief. He was about to run away, but it was then he sensed something. Before he was not able to sense it as he was busy fighting the old man. But now as his mind was not occupied he sensed that there was another vampire nearby.
He started using his sense and started moving towards another vampire. While moving towards the other vampire, he noticed that there was a trail of blood. And based on the familiar black color blood, he instantly knew that this vampire was injured.
