Song Recommendation: Superficial Love by Ruth B
Dilen dumped himself on the couch with a loud sigh, throwing his head back as he shut his eyes for a moment.
He glanced at his watch on his wrist, "2:54AM". He sighed once more.
Getting up tiredly, Dilen padded to his bathroom to reach for his drug cabinet. He pulled it open and pulled out four bottles of meds.
Pouring out uncountable number of pills in his palm, he tossed them into his mouth and chewed them raw. He grunted to the pain ignited at the back of his head.
His hands began to shake.
Raising his hands to his face, his head continued to pound as his eyes slitted and lids twitched.
He clinged.
Watching his reflection in silence, Dilen started to feel different. Like a sudden urge to hit something — something that bleeds. Something with life he could forcefully take without regards.
He palmed his face to inhale deeply, feeling his lips twitch to a grin.
