The clicking sound of high block heels echoed off the wooden floor of the corridor as Delia made her way majestically towards the door opposite her's.
Dressed formally in a slim cooperate gown without her veil hat on, Delia halted in front of the door with her hand already extended.
Pausing for a moment, her expression weakened.
"I hope his strong enough to stand", she murmured, remembering that the pain was usually worst the next day after waking up.
Delia sighed.
Her conscience hadn't yet let her rest throughout the night; punishing her for taking the daytime vision lightly — so lightly, it may have caused Dilen's life.
Maybe if she had taken it seriously enough and insisted on calling Dilen, he wouldn't have been hurt.
But then again, things didn't work so blissfully in this world.
Delia then exhaled softly before raising her hand to knock twice.
