"Damien!"
Damien lowered his gun, pacing up to her, "Del!?"
He reached her bed, locking his eyes on her chains. Delia left her eyes on his figure with a bewildered expression.
"D- Dami?..."
Damien raised the gun at her, pulling the trigger without hesitation.
Delia flinched, shutting her eyes in fear. She felt the chains on her wrists loosen. She snapped her eyes open, watching Damien move down to free her legs.
He stepped back to her head, returning his gun and pulling out a spanner.
He then loosened the knots of the thick metal restrain on her neck, freeing her completely.
He lifted her body up, wrapping his arm around her, "Are you okay?"
Delia only continued to stare at him like a ghost, having her eyes still full of disbelief.
Not giving her enough time to process the moment, he scoped her in his arms, rushing to the front passenger's seat.
