Lynn's voice had already stopped, but Blake's hand had not. The doubts that were plaguing her mind did not end. At the same time that he was writing down everything he thought was important, he was recapitulating all the information he had received, the Futhark territories, rulers, continents, races, and the gods.
There had been a great improvement in his knowledge, and as always, he felt that everything he heard now remained ingrained in his mind. It was no longer a surprise to him like the first few times, and since Blake didn't know if that was a type of ability that he already had before losing his memory, which sounds a bit ironic, he simply accepted it as something normal or that the system was doing its thing once again.
Both Marjorie and Lynn watched Blake for a couple of minutes until he finished what he was doing. He let out a small sigh as he took the notebook in his hands to analyze everything he had written, some were a few notes that he would keep for himself or check in the future, while the rest were the questions that needed to be responded, and Majorie gave him the perfect opportunity to start making them.
"I suppose it will be enough for you to cover those topics since the rest is data, perhaps not very specific, but not essential or relevant in the general plan of Futhark." Although it might not seem like it, Marjorie was listening throughout the entire time that accompanied Lynn and Blake, she had stayed in the room in the first place because she didn't want to leave her disciple with a spoiled girl like Lynn.
Although Marjorie could say that Blake was her disciple, unfortunately she had not taken the task of going too deep with him, a very important factor was the fact that he had lost his memory, for that reason she had to be somewhat distrustful, which it kept the thought that Blake might be bewitched by Lynn somehow from her mind.
The second reason she stayed was in case Lynn passed on incorrect information, but in the end, even Marjorie was satisfied with the knowledge that was covered in all this time, she could clearly add some details, but nothing really scandalous.
"I agree with the Major, so it's time for you to express the questions on your mind, Blake. You don't need to hold back." Lynn again prompted Blake a little as she was also interested in the ideas that could have been generated from all of her explanations, so she was preparing herself.
"Well… I wouldn't say there are many, but I tried to be as concise as possible." Blake took one last look at the notebook before speaking again. "On the map, I saw some more territories besides the ones you mentioned, aren't they some continents or are they just there as decoration?"
The question was obviously directed at Lynn, and she didn't think it was strange that Blake was curious about it.
"Actually, I forgot to mention them since I was focused on talking about the inhabited territories." With those words, Blake was already imagining what those places could be, so he turned his gaze to the map that was still on the table.
The places that Blake was talking about were what was at the lower and upper ends of the map, it was as if they were cut off without allowing their full magnitude to be represented, in addition to the fact that they did not have a name or division like the other continents.
"First of all, what is at the ends of the map are known as the poles of the world, and in short, they are practically uninhabitable places for any of the Futhark races due to their extreme conditions." Lynn put a lot of emphasis on this since, from the few investigations of said places, at most it was possible to verify that some monsters could live comfortably, but each of them had at least the rating of a class A monster or higher. "At the upper pole, you can only find one frozen land in which you would surely freeze to death in a couple of minutes, while at the lower pole, it is perfect for summer lovers... Although I think that spending a vacation surrounded by volcanoes and rivers of magma is not a very pleasant plan in my opinion. Both sites are the result of the accumulation of runes in each of them, which makes their climates so peculiar. No power or continent has any real interest in them, so they are practically ignored places."
Now Blake had understood, plus, as Lynn had said, he could just ignore them if it was a place, he couldn't even set foot in.
"Well, I think that with that I no longer have any questions about the distribution of Futhark, so… Are the races you mentioned the only ones that currently exist?" This was a very important question for Blake and one that he wanted to make sure of since he was somewhat anxious…
"If you mean the current era... That's right, the only races that inhabit Futhark at this time are humans, dwarves, elves, mer, and univir, of course the mention of earthmates is missing, but many people simply lump them together with the category of humans since there aren't many differences besides the powers they can use." Lynn had to ask Blake if he knew about earthmates after that, and upon receiving confirmation from him, she didn't feel the need to explain a lot.
Blake was somewhat silent once he had gotten that answer to his question, and clearly became a little depressed. He believed that at some point Lynn would mention the half-monster race, but upon realizing that he was completely serious about the number of different races in Futhark, more doubts regarding who he was reappeared in his mind. Blake's expression had not gone unnoticed, but Lynn had just remembered something equally important.
"I almost forgot, there is something about the races that I forgot to mention to you, Blake, and it has a lot to do with the guardians of the world." Blake had turned his gaze to Lynn, and although he had not fully recovered, the mention of that topic made that he had a new little hope growing in him.
