The Forest of Beginnings… That was a name that Blake had heard many times and thought he could define it that was given the chance, but Lynn didn't ask for his opinion and just went on with her explanation quite calmly.
"You may wonder why it is considered this way... And actually, although I am telling you about all this, many mysteries surround that world." Lynn raised both hands in front of Blake. Her action seemed to be a bit strange at first, but after a few seconds, a white orb was generated in her right hand that obviously conveyed the feeling produced by the light element runes, while in her other hand, it seemed to be repeating the same situation, only, instead of light element runes, a dark sphere with slight purple tones had been formed made up of a peculiar feeling generated by the dark element runes.
Now Blake was looking at Lynn somewhat expectantly as he was wondering what she wanted to achieve with that demonstration, but the answer to that question would come quite quickly, besides serving as a perfect example.
"Look carefully, you can imagine this sphere of light as Futhark, the world we all know and are used to, where all the races known up to now are found, the runic energy and the runes that are shaped at the same time, and the world that the elder dragons are in charge of protecting." Lynn reached her hand even closer in Blake's direction as she gave her little explanation. "And on the other side, there is the forest of beginnings, a world full of mysteries, and that It's the homeland of monsters that come to the Futhark every day, but just like our world, runic energy and runes are also present in it, and even though it all sounds crazy to someone hearing it for the first time, there is no reason to deny its existence since the same guardians of the world have shown that its existence is totally true."
Blake just nodded towards those ideas since it was pretty much what he knew so far, and although he didn't want to think about it too much, there was one idea that he just couldn't ignore… But he would have to keep it to himself.
"So, given these two worlds, there's something I like to think about." Lynn noticed that Blake's attention was still focused on her, so he didn't stop. Her hands had reached to her again, but before Blake could think of what she wanted to do next, his eyes widened in surprise at what he saw.
If he had to compare it, Lynn was doing something similar to the example Shara showed the time she used her special physique, only this time, what was being combined was the spheres in Lynn's hands. They had just collided with each other when they made contact, Blake considered some elements as counterparts to each other, like fire and water, or earth and wind, so he had a pretty similar idea with the light and dark elements, but at the same time, unlike what I thought, what seemed to be a fusion process either didn't stop or there were complications when Lynn managed to bring her palms together before speaking again.
"For me, I've always considered the Futhark and the Forest of Beginnings to be some kind of complement or even something that was originally a whole unto itself, perhaps like sides of a coin, but right now, it seems like there is a balance despite all the situations that arise around the world." Lynn had a simple smile on her face, and mostly it was because she could see Blake's curious look when she raised her hand and it was in a new sphere, half of it glowed with the intensity of the light element while the other seemed to release a bit of miasma and shadows that perfectly represented the dark element.
She only showed that little spectacle for a few seconds before making it disappear without a trace, she just wanted to use it as a visual example so Blake wouldn't get too bored, and she thought it had worked perfectly. He understood that aspect as well, though he was still curious about Lynn's abilities since the system didn't mention anything related to what she had done.
"Of course, this is all from my knowledge, I'm pretty sure some of the elder dragons know more than they let on, but it's not like we can force them to let out that kind of information, although I'm not ruling out the possibility that there are individuals who could answer many unknowns of this type, what do you think, Major Marjorie?" Obviously attention fell on Marjorie after Lynn's question, but the response received was just as simple.
"Maybe it's true, but my interest in the forest of the beginnings is not so great to try to find out something about it." That had been enough for Lynn to just shift her gaze to Blake once more and leave her curiosity for another time.
"Maybe it's a little hard to imagine something like another world, but I can't deny the existence of the forest of beginnings either, not after living with monsters a lot, even now that I'm an instructor, I've discovered some clues about it." Blake couldn't resist letting his thoughts out since Lynn had paused for a bit, and what he had said had caught both women's attention.
"Did you manage to become one on your own?" Marjorie asked calmly, although she also wouldn't be too surprised if Blake could come to that conclusion himself, but due to the lack of information, she doubted it would be that easy for him.
"Of course not. It was thanks to the help of Nana… The instructor who came to help out at the festival event." Blake had to specify since maybe Lynn didn't know about her.
"Oh, that's quite interesting, besides being a wizard you're also an instructor, your future looks pretty bright, Blake. Many instructors are simply satisfied with getting to a basic level in that realm, but since you're a magician, I'm sure your growth will result in something quite unique, hehe." Lynn didn't miss the opportunity to praise Blake, it was true that the relationship between them was still not clear, they could be considered as simple acquaintances, but Lynn already liked him a lot, and especially... Curiosity about him was something that captured her attention a lot.
