"Thanks for the good wishes, but at the moment I can't do anything amazing. I was only able to bond with a wooly, but I got some benefits thanks to it." Blake was expressing himself without hesitation and without thinking of any kind of consequence for talking about the fact of being an instructor, but he had nothing to worry about really.
"There is always a first step for everything, even today's powerful people were not born what they are now... Well, maybe the same situation could not be applied to elder dragons, but I think you understand what I mean." Lynn was quite satisfied with Blake's attitude, in her opinion, he was someone very talented, she hadn't been able to fully assess it, but she was sure of it. She was also aware that those talented people most of the time tended to be somewhat proud or arrogant, but Blake still possessed that sense of humility that made him easy to relate to, although maybe he should change that a bit in the future…
"Wasn't there some kind of strange phenomenon when you bonded with the wooly?" Marjorie caught Blake's attention with that simple question, so he took it upon herself to answer as best he could.
"No. Nana was with me during the process and it happened just as she had explained to me." Blake remarked that fact to leave Marjorie without concern. Possibly she had asked that question intending to remind Blake of the fact of the oddities that surround him, and if something else had happened during his transformation into an instructor, they could add another to the list, but luckily it wasn't the case… Well, not at all.
Marjorie simply nodded after listening to Blake, both she and Lynn didn't have anything else to add about it, and after a simultaneous tasting of tea by everyone, Blake concentrated on Lynn's figure waiting for something more from her explanation.
"Okay, I guess we can put the aspect of that parallel world aside and focus on ours again." Lynn chuckled a little to herself, although she was doing it to buy herself some time and think carefully about what to say next. "Okay, how much do you know about the way the world's continents and powers are divided, Blake?"
"Practically, I'm only clear that there are four continents and that each elder dragon protects one of them." Even though Blake knew the names of some kingdoms or peoples besides Sharance, he was sincere since he didn't know beyond that.
"I understand, being the case, please pay attention once more. Futhark is mainly divided into four continents or extensions of land, each with its own name and history that makes them different from others, but often have a complicated relationship or connection. The name of each one of them is, Gebu, Raidu, Uruz, and…"
"Laguz." Blake responded when he noticed Lynn prompting him to end the sentence.
"Perfect! Have a cookie." Lynn extended her hand in front of Blake so that in the next moment a rather simple cookie appeared, although that was not surprising since anyone could see the ring on her hand, which was surely her artifact. dimensional, though his attitude only made Blake sweat a little as he ate the cookie. "You are correct, Blake. But there is a wide variety of data that we could take from all of this, but I think that the best thing is that we concentrate on the most characteristic ones."
Blake nodded as he brought the cookie he'd received to his mouth, and though he didn't say so, the little treat was delicious.
"This will be very helpful." Lynn was about to start her explanation again, but then she remembered something that would be useful to her. Her ring produced a slight change again, but instead of a cookie, what appeared in her hand was a scroll that she soon took and laid down on the table.
This one was unremarkable at first glance, but as more is appreciated, almost anyone would have an answer as to what it is, and that was the case with Blake.
"A map?" That was just what it was, the parchment didn't show any kind of color or markings that stood out, it looked more like a sheet of paper with some scribbling on it, but once Blake took a closer look, he was able to appreciate the forms that were detailed in it and gradually made sense.
"That's right, you could consider this a basic representation of the geographical structure of the Futhark, there are some more complete maps, but this will do the explaining." Lynn made sure the map was in good condition before placing her finger on it and continuing to explain. "As you can see, each of the continents has a similar size and the distance between them does not differ too much, besides that their distribution seems to have been something on purpose."
With those words, Lynn was alluding to something that Blake had noticed from the beginning, and that was the fact that how the continents were divided gave rise to the image of a square since each one of the continents looked like be positioned in one of the corners of it.
"Okay, since you keep that in mind, let's focus on Laguz since that's the continent we're on. You could consider that our neighbors are both Uruz and Raidu, Gebu being the furthest from us since it is in the opposite corner." Lynn's explanation was helpful although the names of each continent could be seen on the map, but besides that, something else had aroused Blake's curiosity and Lynn realized that. "Before I told you that the continents are the most relevant territories of Futhark, but it does not mean that they are the only places inhabited by the races of the world, even some of those locations are of great importance, so I think it's important for you to know about them, therefore… I hope your attention is still on me, hehe."
