Among all the chaos that could be defined as the interior of Daria's cabin, Blake could see her bed in one of the corners of the room and began to approach the furniture at a steady pace. That wasn't exactly what had caught Blake's attention, he wasn't having hidden or perverted thoughts either, instead he became interested in what was above it.
The sound of his footsteps had stopped just as he reached the side of the bed. He reached up quickly and took what appeared to be a simple sheet of paper that was resting on the softness of the sheets. He treated it carefully, there was nothing strange about it, but it also aroused some curiosity in him.
He hadn't even stopped to think that he was invading Daria's privacy or that there might be things she didn't want others to see. Blake's curiosity had led him to this point, there were many things he could distract himself with, Daria's works, her work tools, but he chose that sheet of paper since it was the first thing that entered his vision and he felt that something was out of place.
He had just taken a seat on Daria's bed since he was concentrating on that sheet of paper. It had been made quite clear that it was some kind of letter because of the words written on it. It was a combination of symbols very similar to runes that he could see whenever he used rök, but those symbols were exactly the language that he believed he had used all his life even before he lost his memory.
This was something interesting to mention since, throughout the Futhark, although there were various languages, many of these created by different races, they all had in common the ability to understand and communicate using the primordial language.
It was something that had lasted since the era of disconnection, it was the language that dominated all of Futhark, and no one doubted or intended to change that fact. Perhaps Blake didn't have much knowledge of that information, but he was thankful that the few things that were left with him after he had lost his memory were the ability to speak and understand said language, as well as write and read it.
So, once Blake got comfortable, his gaze drifted subconsciously to the words of that letter as they replayed themselves in his mind as he read it.
'To my dear sister. I hope all goes well in Sharance…' With that start, Blake didn't have to think too hard to guess that the sender of that letter was possibly Daria's sister who lived on the Gebu continent, so he started to get a little interested more forcing himself to continue reading. 'Hehe, I hope you don't think I'm being too serious with that greeting, but remember that mom always told us not to forget the manners we learned at home… Although I think both you and I left that a little to the side…'
It was obvious that Blake didn't know Daria's sister, but the words she had captured in the letter made her form a very similar image to Daria, not so much in her attitude, but a simple essence that worked to connect them.
Blake was also reminded of the painting Daria had done long ago, so that mental image was becoming more vivid as he read on.
'But let's leave that for another time. I wanted to tell you that I received your letter and your birthday present… Seriously, sis, I don't know how you're not famous all over the world yet, your works are a thousand times better than those fools from the academy. Compared to you, those conceited need to be stepped on by pigs so maybe their brains work properly and they understand a little what art is really about, hmph!' Blake could even feel the annoyance in the words that were written, surely it was something important about Daria's past, but he knew it wasn't right to inquire about it… Although it didn't stop her from reading the letter either. 'Haha… I guess it's not something worth remembering either, is it?'
His eyes finished reading that part understanding a little more the feelings of Daria's sister.
'Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for your gift, I'll take good care of it, I already have a perfect place to put it at home.' That somewhat happy feeling was transmitted again through the words in the letter. 'I also wanted to tell you that I feel very well, Selphia is calm as always, I guess it's one of the advantages of having one of the Elder dragons protecting the town as their home.'
That caught Blake's attention a lot, his knowledge of the world's geography was practically nil, but he knew that the Gebu continent was protected by the Elder Dragon Ventuswill, so he was having some strange ideas that he would like to verify…
'By the way… Can you tell me a little more about this Blake guy? I was very curious about everything you told me, your drawing of him was also very useful to imagine him better… Should I be happy for my older sister? hehe…' Along with those words, Blake noted that the letter had ended.
He didn't know how to really feel about that last thing he'd read, but he wouldn't be upset with Daria just for telling someone else about him. It could be said that he had satisfied his curiosity while being aware of what he had just done, but before he tried to cover up the evidence of everything, something happened that knocked him out completely, and a big reason for that was due to the impact that resulted from the blow of a strong hammer against his head at which time a very characteristic sound entered his ears.
"R-Rainbow!!"
