"Well, that should be the last thing." Blake's voice broke the tranquility of the Sharance tree a little. A new day had arrived and with it several things to do, and he had just crossed one thing of his list. "I think it is a good decision to keep any material I find; I will never know if it will be useful in the future."
Blake closed the trunk near his refrigerator after putting away many materials he had obtained in the last few days. Most of them had been obtained thanks to him entering the labyrinth to train a bit, so in addition to having that small reward, several of his combat skills leveled up little by little.
Blake's classification to store the materials was quite simple, if they were objects that could be damaged quickly by the passage of time, he kept them in his inventory, while for those that were not, he left them in the trunk without worrying too much.
"Well... I guess I can go down now." Contrary to the tranquility inside the tree, Blake only needed to get closer to the ends of it to be aware that the sunlight was nowhere to be seen as some gray clouds were gathering and interposing in the sky.
The sound of falling rain filled the outside. Blake had learned to appreciate that kind of weather as it freed him from the work of having to water his crops himself, the only drawback being that he would get very bored if he didn't go outside, but that wasn't much of a problem for him.
He had already learned the lesson when he went out under the rain without protection, so now he didn't hesitate for a single second and summoned one of his light shields on top of him to prevent the raindrops from coming into contact with his body.
[Light skill, increased.]
"I don't know if that should surprise me." Blake simply ignored the system's voice at that point. His attention was focused on the large amount of cherry grass that was still growing, all the plots seemed to have received the grace of the rain, so there was nothing else for Blake to do, but his attention quickly went to the barn not very away from there and advanced at a fast pace.
The sphere of light disappeared as quickly as Blake entered the barn door, he hadn't stopped, so it wasn't long before he reached his destination.
"I didn't expect to find you awake." Blake's voice was clear then, and the small wooly's ears trembled a little as those words reached him.
"Baa!" Baal greeted Blake quite happily.
When he woke up this morning, he was somewhat unfamiliar with his surroundings, but memories of the day before had quickly flooded into his mind causing him to calm down, and he was enjoying a good amount of monster grass for breakfast before Blake walked across the door.
"It's nice to see you too." Blake laughed a little when he saw the cute wooly run towards him with enthusiasm, although he understood why he looked so excited. "I know, I didn't forget my promise."
Baal watched as Blake materialized something in his hand and his eyes sparkled again as the scent of fresh apple juice hit his nose before he raised his paws to take the glass impatiently.
"You can have it, so you just need to relax." In addition to the glass of juice, Blake also had a brush in his other hand, which made what he meant quite clear. Baal was not going to refuse this small service, so, after taking the glass that Blake gave him, he sat on the ground to enjoy its contents while Blake delicately brushed his fur.
Baal did not stop producing sighs of relaxation at that moment, he felt that if every day would be like this, he would not mind not returning to the forest of beginnings for a long time.
[Taming skill, Increased.]
Blake only paid attention to the system notification for a second, he was concentrating on brushing Baal's wool, which was shorter than the day before. He carried out his plan and used his shears to shear Baal, he didn't completely do it since he had used his wooly form as an example, but he was still able to get a good amount of wool from him.
"Well, I think that's enough for today." This time it was easier to brush due to the lack of excess wool, and Baal liked the result. "I think you'd better stay in the barn for today, or at least until it stops raining."
Baal nodded at Blake's words, and without waiting for any further instructions, simply began to walk away until he was curled up in a pile of straw that he used as a comfortable bed before slowly closing his eyes as he was caught up in the world of dreams.
Blake was surprised at the speed with which Baal did that, but he didn't think much of it either. His vision was caught in a small piece of wool that was on the ground and then he picked it up and put it away. Once he was done with all that, he simply left the barn to once again summon a sphere of light over his head and start moving forward with a destination in mind.
The cool weather hit him squarely, the rain kept falling at a steady pace and it seemed like it would take some time to calm down, the leaves on the trees danced in the wind and the smell of humidity was very present in the air.
It was true that water was still seeping through the Sharance tree figure, but there was still a large part of it that worked perfectly to cover itself from the rain due to its size, but Blake didn't take advantage of any of this since he had come out of that small security in the direction of the center of the town while he was busy reading something thanks to the system.

That was the piece of wool that he picked up from the barn floor, he had already obtained some of the same pieces after cutting Baal's wool, and he saw that they weren't any different. He really didn't have a clear idea of what to do with them, he could just put them in the chest to get some coins, but he honestly believed that it was a waste.
He was also intrigued by the "effect on upgrades" section, he had seen that many times in different materials he had obtained so far and didn't know what it really meant, but when he focused on that part, he wanted to hit himself up for what happened next.
