"Okay, what do you think?" Blake had his eyes focused on Baal right then.
The little wooly was walking slowly while he was looking at his surroundings curiously. They were both inside the barn, so Blake was showing Baal the place where he was going to live, or at least that was the idea.
"Baa!" A joyous bleat had come from Baal after Blake's question as he seemed excited once he understood that this was his room so to speak.
The setting was perfect, he could see a place to drink water, there was some kind of bed he could use, and he wasn't worrying about the food thing since he trusted Blake.
"I'm glad you like it, of course I won't force you to stay here all the time, you can also leave the barn and walk around the fields, only it's best that you don't try to get out of the Sharance tree by yourself, but don't worry, I'll make sure to take you for a walk sometimes if you want." Blake felt a little calmer since he was aware of Baal's feelings, although, from the way he was treating him, he also felt that Baal was like a pet...
Baal understood what Blake meant and agreed with him. He went over to the small water fountain to get a drink as he needed it and returned to Blake expecting some sort of instruction from him.
"Er... I think you heard a bit before, but it would be nice to cut your wool." Blake was trying to find the best way to say that, but there was no way.
Baal became alert again at that and ran to hide under the makeshift bed made of straw.
"Don't be afraid, there are several reasons for doing this. Your wool is very long, it even hinders your vision a bit, doesn't it?" Blake began with some arguments to convince Baal. "I also noticed that you move a little slow due to the large amount around your body, and summer is quite close, so I think it is beneficial for you."
Although Baal didn't fully understand what Blake was saying, just like him, he could also feel Blake's feelings a little bit, and he understood that he didn't have any bad intentions. He looked at himself, he didn't remember that he ever cut his wool since he was born, sometimes he lost some pieces due to him getting stuck somewhere or in battles with other monsters. It was true that he had become somewhat annoying at times, and the last thing he needed at that moment to make up his mind was that some wool fell in front of his eyes and he had to quickly remove it so it wouldn't interrupt his vision.
Blake had a look like if you want to express "Was I right?", and Baal perfectly understood that, but still, he came out of his makeshift hiding place. Some straw got caught in his fur, which made for quite a funny scene, but only for Blake.
In his hand had materialized the same scissors that Raven had given him earlier, he crouched down to sit on the floor of the barn and motioned for Baal to come closer. The little woolly did not resist anymore and succumbed to his fate.
Blake was now looking at Baal quite carefully, the idea of cutting his wool was quite simple, or at least that was what he thought at first, but now he didn't know where or how to start. Baal was waiting for Blake to start, but it seemed like he was hesitating a bit.
"I know, I think I have the perfect example." After saying that, Blake stood up again, but before a second had passed, his body was enveloped in such a strong glow that Baal had to close his eyes to avoid that.
He also rubbed his eyes with his paws and was very curious about what had just happened, but just when he started looking for Blake's figure to try to ask him somehow, the only thing he found was a figure that caused him a lot of interest.
A wooly was looking at his reflection in the water, concentrating on the wool that surrounded him as if he wanted to remember the exact size of it and it wasn't long before he was completely sure.
"Fine, I think I can do it, Baa… Sigh… I thought I had it under control already." Unlike the snow-white wool that surrounded Baal, the wooly in front of him had golden wool covering it completely.
Maybe that was enough to surprise him since he had never seen a wooly like that, but what really made him not know how to feel and that scared him a little was that he could hear that wooly talk like the humans he knew.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, Baal." And although it went without saying, that peculiar wooly was about Blake.
Baal had taken a few steps back because the situation was very strange, he was even preparing to fight if necessary, but when he heard that wooly calling him by his new name, in addition to feeling a family connection with him, the curiosity of him got stronger.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I think I should have told you this sooner." Blake was aware of what Baal was experiencing, so he proceeded to explain once his monster form glowed once more before turning back into the Blake Baal was familiar with. "Actually, I can turn into wooly, I hope you can keep the little secret."
Maybe small wasn't the best way to define it, but Baal didn't have time to analyze that since his eyes seemed to be shining. He didn't understand much of what had just happened, but now he thought Blake was great.
"Well, I think we're ready. I promise I'll do a good job." Blake was giving off a rather characteristic confidence at this moment, he already had a good mental image of what he would do, and sensing that, Baal happily approached him waiting for the results.
