Blake was already psyching himself up for what would come next. It was true that he had already made a breakthrough because the wooly had accepted his proposal, but he didn't think it would be that simple.
"Well... Actually...That was it, Blake." Nana had been silent for a moment before her expression turned somewhat complicated.
"What?" Blake also felt strange after hearing that since he sensed that Nana wanted to say something else.
"I'm sorry, I just realized something." Nana frowned a little, she had also apologized to Blake because of what she had remembered, so she had to explain what was tormenting her at that moment. "It's just that I realized that I never asked you if you wanted to become an instructor."
And just hearing that, Blake understood why Nana was acting like that. He also remembered that he never specified that, he had only told her about his idea to get a monster to help him on his farm and honestly, he had not had the idea of becoming an instructor, but after everything that happened and Nana's different explanations, should say that he was very interested now.
"Yes, it's true that I never told you that I wanted to be an instructor..." Nana was paying attention to Blake and felt a bit foolish hearing his words since she thought that she had been bothering him all this time, but what she would hear next would make her eliminate all those negative feelings that were in her head. "But now it's different. Please help me to be an instructor, Nana."
A new silence filled the surroundings, although not a total silence since you could still hear the small wooly chewing enjoying the bamboo shoot, and Blake still hadn't received a response to his request, and that itself made him a little nervous.
It was true that the idea just came to his mind, he still had a few doubts since he didn't know how all of this would turn out because he remembered what had happened to him during the festival when Nana was making use of her skills as an instructor, he could also directly relate with the fact that he is half monster, so it might be a strange thing for a monster to bond with another monster, but he had to leave all those doubts for later since he listened to Nana again.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course, you took the trouble to help me and all your explanation made me understand what it means to be an instructor, and become interested in them, so since the opportunity presents itself, I would not want to waste learn directly from a real instructor." Blake was now getting excited by that very idea.
A new aspect of the world was about to open in front of him, it was like magic and runic abilities, it was also true that perhaps he was exaggerating a bit, he already had a lot going on since he was a wizard and runic, he even focused part of his time to different areas, basically he hadn't picked anything to really focus on and just kept increasing the tasks and things to do in the future, but he honestly believed that he could take care of all of that and balance his day to day, and if not, he would let the Blake of the future will deal with that situation as usual.
"Well… I guess you don't leave me a choice after your insistence. Alright, I'll help you become an instructor and make you proud of it. I hope you'll be grateful." Nana had crossed her arms under her chest at the same time that she closed her eyes and said all that with a tone that tried to convey that she would help Blake since it was her last option, although that didn't stop a slight blush appearing on her face as she felt somewhat embarrassed by Blake's praise.
"Thank you, Nana." Blake chuckled a little to himself at her attitude, but he also thanked her sincerely. "So is there something special I should do?"
"That's how it is. As I said before, the first step was for the monster to like you, so that's settled now." Nana turned her attention to the wooly who was now next to Blake since it had finished its meal. "That's the most basic of all, there are people who also get along with monsters, but that doesn't mean they are instructors. That situation is quite common actually."
Blake could imagine that, if it weren't for Nana, he too would have believed that he could already call himself an instructor just because the wooly agreed to go with him to his farm.
"So next is actually bonding with the monster, if I were to compare the procedure to something, it would be quite similar to how we bond our runic energy with the sacks we use to store things, likewise, you have to connect your runic energy with the little wooly." Blake was curious about that, he already knew that process since he had used it to bond with the ring that Evelyn's aunt had given him, although he was sure it would be something different this time.
Nana instructed Blake to use his hands to touch the wooly's paws, it was only necessary for him to touch it as he would use his hands as a channel to flow his runic energy. The woolly was just looking at Blake curiously, but it didn't sense any danger.
And that had been exactly what happened, Blake had closed his eyes and then let his runic energy flow into his hands, he had felt how it tried to leave his body, it was like when he wanted to materialize some element, but this time none of that happened, instead, Blake felt something intertwine with his own energy and all he could think was that it was the little wooly.
While Blake was doing all that, the wooly had felt a strange feeling, it was as if something was trying to enter its body and it could tell that this feeling was coming from Blake's hands, but instead of trying to reject it, it had also let its runic energy to advance to that very spot.
Nana could clearly see the process, the place where Blake and the wooly had contact was radiating a slight glow similar to the one generated when monsters are defeated and have to return to the forest of the beginnings, she wasn't worrying about that, in it actually indicated that the binding process was proceeding smoothly, and after a couple of minutes, a happy smile had appeared on her face.
