Blake felt that he was once again surrounded by a simple tranquility produced by the surroundings... Which was quite strange since his new friend should be in that very place, but after searching a bit, Blake didn't see Nana's figure anywhere until some strange sounds reached his ears and he began to approach the direction from which they seemed to come.
His legs took him back in front of his new barn and then he noticed that its door was open, so he didn't hesitate any longer and simply entered, and continued walking until he reached the room where the monsters would inhabit in the future, and without much surprise, he was able to find Nana there... Although in a somewhat peculiar situation...
"This place is amazing!" At that very moment, Nana was lying on top of the clump of straw that Gaius had left behind, and it could be said that she was feeling that it was even more comfortable than her bed, but that wouldn't stop her from further expressing her thoughts. "The space is perfect, it's ventilated enough to make the temperature comfortable, maybe some monsters need some special arrangements, but I think that can be fixed when the time comes…"
Nana had jumped up before starting to say all of the above, she was basically talking to herself since she hadn't paid attention to Blake's figure that was only a few steps away from her, but for her part, Blake was listening carefully as it was interesting information.
"Ahhh!" And accompanied by that sudden cry of terror, anyone outside the Sharance tree could see the birds that were resting on the branches of the tree fly away because of that. "Why are you scaring me like that?!"
What had happened wasn't very difficult to guess, Blake had touched Nana's shoulder to get her attention, and that small action had surprised her since she was too concentrated on looking at the barn.
"I'm sorry about that, but you've already been silent for several minutes and I got worried." Maybe Blake was lying a bit since it hadn't been that long, but he felt that that would really be the case if he didn't bring Nana back to reality.
"Ah… So I did it again…" Hearing what Blake had just said, Nana seemed to have a kind of revelation and it didn't seem strange to her because her father had said the same thing to her many times in the past. "I'm sorry, it's just that I became very interested in your barn after Raven mentioned that Gaius had just built it."
"Don't worry. By the way… Were you able to talk to Raven?" Perhaps the question sounded a bit strange, but anyone who knew Raven wouldn't think it was an exaggeration.
"Yes, I stopped by the smithy to buy something and I ran into her, we talked for almost an hour and then we came to see you, I think we are already good friends." The enthusiasm with which Nana said that seemed to be quite sincere... And that very it made Blake have a complicated expression.
"Are you serious?" And that question had automatically come out of him right after hearing Nana's words.
"Of course, I hope you're not jealous, hehe." Nana was having fun… But when she noticed Blake's expression, she knew she hadn't convinced him. "Okay. I'm lying. Actually, I was coming to visit you and I met her on the way, I managed to get her attention and we chatted for a bit."
That left Blake a little calmer, maybe he was being dramatic, but he couldn't imagine a scene where Raven became friends with someone in just a few days of meeting her since Blake had gone through a whole journey to be able to relate to her relatively normally.
"She told me that she was going to pick up Gaius since he was building you a barn, so I was very curious." Nana had continued with her little story, and everything had become clearer for Blake. "But remember what I said the first day! , I would really like to be friends with Raven!"
"I hope you're lucky." It was the only thing Blake could say, but even so it was impossible not to notice the enthusiasm that Nana was showing. "In any case, it's perfect that you're here."
"Hehe, that's right, I didn't forget what you said yesterday." Blake's words had made Nana's expression of curiosity return, but it didn't take long for her to guess what was on his mind.
"Yes, now that I have a barn, it's time to tame a monster, so I'd like to have your help, Nana." Blake adopted a new humble attitude, and was about to tell her that they should go to the Privera forest since it was the safest place Blake knew of regarding the strength of the monsters… But Nana would stop him abruptly.
"Stop there!" A surge of strength was accompanied by Nana's voice, and Blake unconsciously stopped any movement of his body before turning his full attention to her. "I hope you don't think that taming a monster is as simple as going to a store and buying it, there are many things you should consider and know about monsters."
Nana had struck a rather characteristic pose, and Blake had compared her to Shino, remembering the time when she had explained many things related to the runic path to him.
"But first, I must say that your barn is perfect for most of the monsters that inhabit the area, so it solves some problems that most beginners experience on the path to becoming an instructor." Nana was pacing back and forth while holding up one of her fingers listing many important points.
In summary, Nana began to explain to Blake the concept of what an instructor was, the differences between them depending on the area in which they specialized, and many characteristics regarding the care of monsters.
Blake was quite focused on that, the situation had come where he began to absorb all the information that came to him, which was a phenomenon he had experienced too many times since his arrival in Sharance.
