'The next thing you should look for is a wooden structure in the opposite corner of the previous table.' The words in the note kept ringing in Blake's mind as his gaze moved around the room again until he found what Gaius meant. 'That's the feeding box, as the name suggests, this is where you can store the food your monsters will feed on. I'm sure you saw a hole in the side of the door outside, this is so you can put the food in without having to go into the barn, it's a bit practical and can be useful on some occasions.'
Blake understood that perfectly and now the huge hole he had seen before did not seem too strange to him.
'The main food of all monsters is grass, I don't think I'm the right one to explain that to you, I'm sure that if you go to the florist your doubts will be answered.' Blake turned his gaze towards the feeding box to look at it one last time, there was nothing strange about it and Blake could assume it worked without much trouble, so he continued reading Gaius's note. 'You may think that this is the place where monsters live, but it is not, this is the main room of the barn where you can prepare before entering the monster area, I'm sure you can see the door with the shape of a turnip not too far from you.'
The note ended there, Blake had already seen the door that Gaius was referring to and he didn't think too much before moving towards it. He was about to open it to see what was next, but a new note was taped to the door, which wasn't strange to Blake.
'I hope nothing happens to this note, I put it here so you could find it, although maybe I didn't think too much of it…' Blake ignored Gaius's comments for a bit and went to the important part as he walked through the new wooden door. 'Well, I guess you've already entered the new area. As you can see around you, the Sharance tree also took care of delimiting the entire area with more planks of wood that it ate... But, anyway, this is the place where the monsters you tame live, there is an area for them to drink water, a place where you can leave their food, some straw to rest…'
While Blake was reading all of this, his eyes were also focused on each of those aspects that Gaius mentioned, and he had to say that he liked the place quite a bit.
'Clearly, you can move some things around, I just placed them that way so the site doesn't look so empty… And I think that's all I had to mention, plus I ran out of paper to write on, so everything else depends on you. It's time to go to sleep…' That really seemed to be the end of the explanation and Blake subconsciously wished Gaius good night at that moment, as well as thanking him for his work, although he would also remember to do so personally in the future.
"Well... I guess what I have to do now is tame a monster." A new objective had occupied Blake's mind, although he had already had that idea for a long time, he already had what it took to carry it out, and he needed to go to look for the right person... Although maybe he wouldn't have to look too far.
Blake retraced his own steps until he was completely out of the barn, the image of the familiar farm fields was flooding his vision, but that was not the only thing he could visualize at that moment and he began to move closer to see what was happening.
"Sigh... okay, I give up. It's impossible to wake him up." A somewhat angry voice had broken the tranquility of the place.
"That's what I said from the beginning… Although you really tried…" And contrary to the previous voice, the new voice that had been heard had a rather characteristic calm tone.
"You don't have to be sarcastic, are you going to take him on your own?" The angry voice from before had now calmed down enough and some curiosity was noticeable in it.
"Yes, it's not the first time I've done it." It seemed that a moment of silence had come once that conversation ended, possibly some could imagine who those voices belonged to, but Blake had no problem identifying them, and everyone was aware of his presence once he got closer.
"Blake!" And with a little sparkle in her pink eyes, Nana had raised her voice as she raised her arm and waved it in greeting to Blake.
"Hi, and good morning to both of you." Blake greeted Nana by patting her hand as she expected that gesture.
"Good morning..." The same calm voice was heard again due to Blake's greeting, and it obviously belonged to Raven.
"I guess you already found him." Blake saw that both Nana and Raven were surrounding Gaius' limp body, so he could imagine what was happening.
"Gaius told me to come get him, it's almost time for the smithy to open, so I'll leave." Raven hadn't taken long to say what was on her mind, so she moved Gaius a little until she could take his arms and start dragging it.
"Need help?" Blake couldn't help but ask that question seeing the situation, but it seemed like Raven was fine with it.
"Don't worry, it's not a problem, but thanks… Bye." Raven's voice was probably barely audible at that moment, but Blake could hear it without any problem, and like her, he also said goodbye and waved his hand once he saw how the figure of Raven accompanied by that of Gaius disappeared into the distance.
'I think she'd get there faster if she used a teleportation...' That was the thought that popped into Blake's mind a moment later, although it was already a little late for that. "Anyway... where did Nana go?"
