"Ahh!... Ahh!" That sound was the product of gasps that couldn't help but come out of Blake once he'd snapped back to reality after he'd last heard that system notification.
His gaze was focused on the ground at the same time that his eyes recovered his characteristic color, several drops of cold sweat ran down his forehead and other parts of his body indicating that he was not at all good.
He even felt like he needed to let out whatever was in his stomach because of the horrible feeling that still wouldn't leave his mind, it seemed like his body had just finished a long exercise routine because of how heavy it was, and if it wasn't from the light voice that quickly intensified, Blake thought he would faint right then and there.
"Bla… Blak… Blake!" Blake's ears had finally let in and understood Evelyn's voice once he had managed to calm down a bit, and it was undeniable that a feeling of genuine concern was coming out of her.
Probably would have taken a little longer for Blake to fully recover, but that was alleviated once he felt warm energy slowly enter and run through his body.
It wasn't long before he was able to breathe without much trouble and make the feeling that had gripped him before greatly reduced, now he had enough strength to sit up, but he could only sit on the hard wooden floor, though he felt that he was very comfortable at the time.
It was then that he was also aware of Evelyn's worried attitude, Blake was about to calm her down by telling her that he was fine, but he had also noticed the figure of that woman lightly touching his shoulder, which made him know who had helped recently.
"How do you feel?" The woman asked that simple question, maybe she was aware of the physical state Blake was in right now, but she knew that this question was necessary to check his mental state.
"Much better, thanks for the help." Blake could only thank, he still didn't know what exactly had happened, the only thing on his mind was a horrible feeling that seemed to be trying to plunge him into a deep darkness before the system notifications will start ringing.
"Auntie, that was…!" Evelyn breathed a sigh of relief before she scowled at her as an honest feeling of anger was directed at the woman, and from the way he called her, Blake was already connecting everything about her.
"Don't worry, you'll have an explanation right now." The woman got back up, standing up while her old kind look disappeared completely, being replaced by a rather characteristic seriousness and she let out a few simple words. "Hagalaz."
Not even a second had passed when a sudden cluster of runes formed in the shadow of that woman before a figure wrapped completely in darkness was visible. The runes of the darkness element were perfectly visible at that moment, and that itself made Blake feel a bit strange again since the same feeling from before seemed to be appearing within him.
That figure actually had the shape of a person, plus the way it had appeared due to the call and the way it respectfully prostrated itself indicated that it was waiting for any order from the woman in front of it.
"I know you were responsible, but I am also aware that you know your mistake here." A coldness difficult to ignore now had taken over the room, although most of it was directed at the person wrapped in shadows, but it didn't take long either time to answer.
"I know, I'll delegate all my duties right now." The determined and calm way he said all that was quite unbelievable. In addition, Blake was able to identify that this voice possibly belonged to a man. "Well, send Algiz once you return and reconsider in the twilight room for at least a year."
"I appreciate your kindness." That figure wrapped in shadows leaned even more in front of the woman whose name Blake still didn't know, everything was being quite strange for him, but his curious expression suddenly changed due to that accumulation of shadows had approached and heard the deep voice that was directed towards him. "I also owe an apology to the young lady's friend."
Blake was a bit speechless, although he also began to understand everything a bit, he was about to say something after a few seconds, but before that, he saw once more how that person merged with the shadow of that woman before disappearing completely.
After that, Blake was helped by Evelyn to stand up, it could be said that he had already recovered enough, but that didn't take away the fact that many questions were on his mind.
"I think I owe you an explanation." The same voice that was no longer so unknown to Blake reached his ears before turning his attention to the figure of that woman. "But before that... Nice to meet you, Blake. My name is Lynn, I'm Evelyn's aunt."
Blake watched as the woman named Lynn raised her hand in greeting, and actually hesitated a bit before accepting it.
"It's my pleasure too, and I don't think you have to explain anything…" Blake had already figured everything out in his mind and received sincere apologies, so he didn't want everything to turn into a complicated situation… But that wasn't the case for Evelyn.
"No, this can't stay like this. I don't even remember how many times this has happened, every time you come to visit the same thing happens, first it was Carlos, then Rusk, and now even Blake. When are you going to punish that subordinate of yours?" Evelyn was touching her face in frustration, and her aunt's attitude wasn't helping at all.
"Hehe, I know that he does not do it with bad intentions... Has it really happened many times?" Lynn had a surprised look on her face… Although she was only doing it to annoy her pretty niece.
