Chapter 235 - Day 235: Denial (I)

From the point of view of the huge troll, it visualized the figure of Blake just as he entered its room. It didn't know why, but it had been transported to that place suddenly and the confusion it felt at first had turned into a huge annoyance since it couldn't get out of there no matter how hard it tried, so Blake appeared in the room perfect time to unleash its wrath.

It didn't need to make any unnecessary sound and it simply made its arm go back and then throw its fist directly at Blake's figure, in the troll's mind, the scene where Blake would be reduced to a simple red paste on the ground was visualized, but after a slight sparkle bothered its eyes, it felt strange as its arm stopped abruptly, though its little confusion was interrupted by a voice it had never heard before.

"I think you need to improve your way of greeting others." Blake had laughed a little at his own comment since he was telling himself that the confrontation had just begun.

Just as the troll's fist was about to hit him, Blake had quickly transformed into a wooly to directly receive the fist and catch it with his paws. The result was as he expected, despite the difference in sizes, Blake's strength had been enough to stop the troll's power, although he had to take a few steps back in the process.

It hadn't taken long for Blake to deflect the huge troll's arm before he dashed as close as possible to the troll's body and accelerated one last time to smash his head into his enemy's chest with a great leap.

"Bam!" The same impact made the troll grunt a little as it quickly stepped back and touched its chest due to the slight discomfort that had caused it.

Beside it, Blake had fallen to the ground on his hind legs... But he couldn't stay calm at that moment.

"Ugh!" Blake brought his front legs towards his head, even though he had damaged the huge troll, all he had seen was the -10 value coming out of the huge troll's body, but mostly he was busier trying to remove the pain in his head, as he felt like he had crashed into a huge mountain.

[Defense skill, increased.]

Blake wished he could hang the system right now, but he had to forget all of that as he moved his body to the side letting the troll's fist collide with the dungeon barrier.

"That's right, I'm not stuck with you, we're both stuck here!" Blake simply needed to unleash his frustration, even though he too had used that moment to use a healing spell to get rid of the pain and restore his vitality. 'It looks like defending me is going to be a problem, maybe turning into a wooly was not a good move, I just have to try something else.'

The troll had had a few difficulties turning around due to its size, plus Blake was taking advantage of the angle to hide behind it, only a second had passed, but then again, a small glow was present and it wouldn't come without company.

"Graghhhg!" A strange grunt of pain came from the troll at the huge gash that now graced its back before it turned and saw Blake's smiling face.

For his part, Blake was swinging his sword slightly in his hand since he had returned to his human form, and that itself had made the troll feel somewhat confused since it didn't see the wooly from before anywhere, but before it began to attack Blake, one of its knees touched the ground at the same time it used its fist to support itself while a cold sweat ran through its entire body.

"It seems that this time it was quick with its effect." Blake knew that the troll was being victimized by the poison of his Sakura sword. After using it as his main weapon, Blake was aware that the number of slashes needed for his enemies to be affected by his sword's poison was quite random, so he was glad after seeing the effects on the troll.

Blake was not going to waste this opportunity, so he firmly took his sword and then launched himself at the troll, it clearly saw Blake's intentions and, using the energy that it still had with it, it tried to hit its figure with its free arm, but the sudden exhaustion caused its fist to fall to the ground leaving a mere rumble and dust around.

Due to the troll's size, Blake took the opportunity to climb onto its arm and keep running to get closer to it. A few balls of fire shot from his free hand to slam into the troll's face causing more groans of pain to come from it, but it had also been enough for the monster to make some erratic movements that launched Blake even higher into the air.

Blake felt the wind hitting his body, the height at which he was allowed him to see all the surroundings that were made up of what seemed to be an infinite forest, now he felt that the huge troll had become smaller, and despite that that height could hurt him, he was actually quite calm.

'I guess I can try to prove it myself.' Blake had closed his eyes at the same time that the gravity in that space made him return to the ground.

The troll had already got rid of the fire on its face and its annoyance had only grown, again it didn't know where the blond human who came just to bother it was, but it seemed that the last thing it would experience at that moment were those words that they entered its ears even though it would have no chance to understand them.

Right above its head, the figure of Blake was about to fall on top of it. A slight grayish glint had come over Blake's eyes as his hand was firmly gripping the hilt of his sword, and the words coming out of his mouth were barely audible due to the pressure of the wind… But just like the first time, they carried a mysterious power behind them.
