The characteristic sound of the crickets singing and the small light provided by the fireflies combined perfectly with the darkness outside. It still felt the cool weather left after the rain finally stopped and the moon was slowly showing itself once the clouds in the sky dissipated.
It might be a sight to see for someone taking a nice evening walk, but if we were concentrating on Blake, he didn't have time for that right now.
"Crack!" And that sound was the one produced by the strong blow caused when a wooly collided with a huge tree and then completely disappeared in a halo of light.
An empty room was the only thing left now, or at least that would be if the figure of a blond-haired boy wasn't in the middle of the place.
"Okay, one less room." Blake raised her hand and wiped some of the sweat off his forehead after saying that.
Right now, he was back inside the characteristic labyrinth clearing out the dungeon he had completed earlier. After finishing Raven's request, besides not listening to the system notification rewarding him with a mysterious box, the best idea he had come up with was to venture into the Sharance labyrinth once more.
"Now that I remember... I forgot to ask Raven about the monster barn... Anyway, I think I can do it tomorrow." It seemed that Blake was very relaxed despite being aware of where he was, but his current strength gave him enough confidence to do it. "Now, let's see what's here."
Maybe Blake wasn't really calm at all, and that was because, once he'd cleared the room of any monsters that might bother him, his attention was drawn to the pair of chests near him, one of which was colored yellow while the one next to it was blue.
Blake first approached the yellow one and then opened it carelessly since, as he remembered, he only received a couple of fish inside this type of chest. He had come across several of these chests on his way through the dungeon, so he knew that they only gave him items like food or strange materials, so his excitement grew when he saw the blue chest.
He clearly remembered that he had gotten his elemental weapon thanks to one of these, his expectations were quite high, so, without thinking too much, he repeated the same action of opening it so that the notifications would quickly come through his mind.
[Acquired: Focus Earring.]
"An earring?" Blake's question seemed to be unnecessary after hearing the system notification, but he had subconsciously said it before opening his inventory to see the small reward.

Blake checked the information several times before thinking that it would really be useful to her, that earring had a round blue shape with a small design that didn't make it stand out too much, quite similar to the one Raven had given Sofia earlier. He didn't get out of his inventory and simply put his attention on a specific area, it was the first time he gave it importance, but there was an area where he could see the artifacts and weapons that he had equipped.
This was divided into five different spaces, both his sword, his shield, his boots, and his gloves were occupying one of them, while the last one seemed to be waiting for them to put something on it, so Blake touched the silhouette of the slope and dragged it into that small space.
It was the first time he had tried that; all his other equipment had been equipped by himself without the help of the system, but even so, it took up space in that peculiar interface. It wasn't long before Blake was done with his experiment, and just as he placed the small earring in his place, he noticed how his stats were boosted in the exact amount the earring displayed.
Blake had come out of his inventory and brought his hand to his left ear only to feel that dangling spherical object, which made him convinced that the idea he had was correct.
"Great, so I can save myself the pain of putting it in myself" Yes, it seemed like that was Blake's main goal for testing that, though he kept experimenting a bit, also removing his boots from the interface space and then feeling like his bare feet touched the slight cold of the ground.
Blake looked around him once he was done with that to see if he hadn't gotten any more from the chest, but the room was empty once again, so he simply opened his map to decide which way to go.
Blake was relatively enjoying cleaning the dungeon, at every moment he was aware that several of his skills were leveling up and he was getting various materials from the monsters he defeated, in addition to finding some that he had never seen, like a kind of chicken that it did not hesitate to almost gouge out his eyes as soon as it saw him.
But in the end, Blake looked at the map one more time to realize that he only had one path left to follow, so he psyched himself up to face the huge duck again... But he would have to forget about that idea once he visualized his new enemy and heard the voice of the system.
[Species: Master troll. Status: Annoyed. Class: E.]
"Well... That's new." Blake spoke to himself before taking a detailed look at the monster in front of him.
Its height was quite tall, although Blake had to be thankful that it wasn't as tall as the duck from before. The troll had a humanoid figure, its skin was pale green and the only thing it wore was a kind of loincloth with a pair of shoulder pads, on its head rested horns that ended in spikes, but especially, its huge hands made Blake realize where to be careful.
