As it was no longer strange, a small silence formed after Nana's question, but it didn't last long as Karina seemed to have fully woken up at the same time as she answered directly.
"No, what makes you think that?" Karina narrowed her eyes a bit showing her confusion at that moment, but then she turned to Blake as if she was looking for an explanation from him.
Blake was no better than her and was actually rubbing her forehead because she wanted to ignore the awkward situation, but to his surprise, Nana intervened trying to fix everything.
"Sorry! I thought it would be nice to tell a little joke, hehe." Nana waved her hands in front of her so they wouldn't think she wanted to cause trouble. "My name is Nana, Nana Alana."
Nana quickly adopted a friendly attitude toward Karina before saying her name.
"Hmm... Does your family own the Alana store?" It seemed that the sleepiness no longer bothered Karina at that moment since her curiosity was genuine after hearing Nana's last name.
"Yes..." A sudden idea appeared in Nana's mind, and Karina confirmed that after a few seconds.
"My name is Karina Diamond." Karina said her name directly, and just like with Shara, Blake figured out Karina's last name, though, on second thought, it made quite a bit of sense once he remembered the name of her family's store.
"So it was true, I was thinking of going to say hello to the diamond store, plus I bring with me some documents that dad told me to give to the owner Hazel." Nana took advantage of the moment to convey everything her father told her before coming to Sharance.
"My mom is in the store right now, if you want, I can take you with her." Karina also understood the situation and knew that it was better not to leave a bad impression on Nana.
"That would be great!" It seemed that both Nana and Karina had no problem speaking calmly anymore, they were practically ignoring Blake as they talked to each other, but Karina turned her attention back to him after a few moments.
"By the way, Blake. Mom told me that she is interested in buying you the wool you got from the wooly." Karina remembered what she had told Hazel earlier.
"About that… I already sold everything to Sakuya." Blake replied a little embarrassed even though there was no reason for that.
"Sigh... It's a shame... I was planning to make a pillow with some of it." Karina had already put that thought aside, but Nana interrupted them.
"I remember. You were the one who slept hugging Snow during the event, right, Karina?"
"Snow?" Karina did not fully understand Nana's words.
"I'm talking about one of the little woolies that were there during the event, I could feel that it also enjoyed the little nap a lot, haha." Nana still remembered the feelings that the woolies conveyed during the event, and thought of the peculiar scene where she saw Karina asleep in a corner of the event arena. "I'm sure Mr. Sherman could sell you some of the wool left over from the event, he paid in advance so we wouldn't have to worry about getting the raw material back."
"That's helpful too, but the road is really long, maybe I sent you a request to do it for me, Blake... (Or maybe I forget it and don't do it)"
"I'll wait patiently for your letter." Blake agreed without hesitation, but in that instant, he also realized that Karina was about to leave at the same time that Nana seemed to want to do the same.
"I will accompany Karina, Blake. Thank you for showing me part of the town." Nana showed her sincere appreciation to Blake.
"It was nothing, are you going to Blossom town today?" Blake was kind of curious since he didn't know where Nana would go after passing the diamond store.
"I'll do it in a few days, I had already rented a room at the Miyako inn this morning, but thanks for your concern." Nana said those last words before waving her hand up, thus saying goodbye to Blake.
He also said goodbye to both Nana and Karina, and since there wasn't much to do after that, besides that it was already a bit late, he went up the ladder once more until she reached the top floor of his home.
Blake felt that it was not time to go to bed yet, so he simply sat in the middle of the huge room and began to let a feeling that was no longer strange begin to form inside him.
If someone were able to see it clearly, they could appreciate how the runes of time were rapidly approaching Blake so that later he began to slowly absorb them into his body to make part of him the runic energy they possessed.
Blake wanted to try cultivating on his own now that he knew exactly what he was doing, he thought he'd get bored quickly, but he really had reached a point where everything else seemed to cease to matter to him and he just enjoyed that peculiar feeling.
Lately he was looking for a way to get stronger, and in addition to having the help of the system, he knew that he also had to take advantage of all the advantages he had at the moment, so the quickest answer was to increase his level in both the runic path and the magic.
Although it could be said that Blake had quite an advantage in this aspect, it was true that he was only at fairly low levels in both areas, so he wouldn't have much problem increasing his level in them, he was already aware of that since so far he hadn't had much trouble, but that didn't mean it would be like this all the time.
And he understood that just as he came back to reality and saw the time thanks to the system, he could see that several hours had already passed since he had started cultivating, but he had not actually increased his level in runic awakening or formed a new rune, even so, he could tell that he had nurtured both his elemental core and his drop of runic essence, this only made Blake more aware of his thoughts, but he told himself that was enough for today, after all, the idea of falling onto the bed that wasn't far from him was quite appealing.
