"That seems like the perfect scene after an arduous battle, and the funny thing is, that's exactly what's happening!" Shara yelled excitedly and her words echoed everywhere because the surroundings were completely silent.
That same thing made everyone come back to reality after being spectators of the scene from before, and little by little, the sound of small applause was heard that quickly turned into a noise accompanied by shouts of emotion and support from the public.
"This is how the event should be every year!"
"Did you see that girl's move? I thought I would fly off with it!"
"Hahaha! I can't stop remembering the blond boy hugging that wooly, how can he do that?"
"Remind me to participate next year, I am sure that I will win without problems."
"You're too confident, I think you'll just end up as a toy for the little woolies, hahaha!"
Those kinds of comments quickly filled the surroundings, it was quite obvious that everyone was excited by what they just saw and couldn't help but give their opinion, but Blaise's voice came at just the right time to slow that down a bit.
"I know there is a lot you want to share, but I think there is something important that everyone has forgotten, or am I wrong?" Some didn't understand Blaise's question, but Shara would remove that doubt with her words.
"You are correct, Blaise. There is still the final part, and that is to decide the winners of the event!" Yes, that was what most of the onlookers had forgotten, and when Shara reminded them, the excitement was back in the form of an even bigger noise.
Returning to the center of the plaza, the remaining participants dropped to the ground heaving a huge sigh of relief, they no longer had anything to worry about as the little woolies had also finished their task for today and had left.
As for Sakuya and Blake, they were still standing while putting away the wool they managed to get at the last moment, and Sakuya couldn't help but ask a simple question.
"See, did something go wrong? haha." Sakuya let out a small laugh after her words, though Blake didn't feel like it was funny.
"If I see the results, obviously everything went well, but the method was not pleasant at all!" Blake knew what he had gotten himself into before following Sakuya's plan, but it was still something he did not want to repeat, especially since he completely received Sakuya's attack, and although it did not hurt him, he felt his face stiffen due to to the wind that hit it.
Sakuya simply ignored Blake's complaints as she was quite satisfied with the result, though she at that moment remembered that the event was over.
If it was back in the day and someone asked her if she thought she was the winner, she would confidently answer yes, but she realized that Blake was also one of the finalists, and that itself had caused her confidence to drop a bit already that she was aware of the performance he had shown at the last moment.
Both were about to move from the center of the square and look for a place to rest, but it was then that something else caught their attention and it didn't take long for them to approach the figure not far from them.
"Hello, Nana." Blake gave that quick wave once he saw Nana's figure crouched to one side of the huge wooly.
She seemed to be very focused on checking the wooly that was still on the ground to verify if everything was okay and she unconsciously gave a sigh of relief since now it was calmly resting at that moment.
Nana had closed her eyes to convey a quick thought to all the woolies that were still in the place, but before she did, she realized that someone was calling her name and she couldn't help turning around to see who it was.
"Oh. Hi, Blake!" Nana was a little surprised, but she had quickly gotten back to her feet, brushing the little dust off her clothes.
Even though she was busy during the whole event, she was very aware of what was going on around her, so she could perfectly see Blake's performance, and although she didn't show it, she was supporting him since he was actually the first person with the one who had really been friendly since she came to Sharance.
"You were great, Blake! I could feel how Fluffy wanted to take you between his paws and break your legs!"
"..." Yes, both Sakuya and Blake fell into a deep silence as Nana's words sounded a bit worrying.
"Thanks, though... who's Fluffy?" Blake thanked her despite everything, although he asked this question because he didn't know who Nana was referring to by the name of Fluffy.
"That's the name of this little wooly." Nana was stroking the huge wooly's head as she answered Blake's question.
"Do all woolies have their own name?" Sakuya asked that question to join the conversation.
"Of course, monsters also need a name to feel special, we can't treat them like they don't matter... By the way, I guess we haven't introduced ourselves." Nana was busy with her explanation, but then she realized that she didn't know the person you were talking to.
"It's true, although I think I've heard your name before, you're Nana from the Alana shop, right?" Nana nodded to the question letting Sakuya continue speaking. "It's a pleasure, my name is Miyako Sakuya."
"Miyako? It's the first time I've heard that name... It's like the Miyako Inn, isn't it?"
"Actually, that's my last name and my family is the one who runs the inn." Sakuya made that aspect clear since it was common to get confused.
"Ah, sorry, it's also nice to meet you Sakuya. I think the little woolies kept you busy, didn't they?" Nana mentioned that since she had seen Sakuya a bit too.
"Yeah, did someone tell you to turn almost all the woolies against me?" Sakuya showed a bit of annoyance at the memory of that.
"Ehh… I think they just liked you…" Nana acted a bit flustered at that moment as Sakuya was showing a somewhat strange expression.
Blake was watching this intently and wanted to be part of the conversation again, but the voice that belonged to Shara reached everyone's ears causing them to stop at that moment, but everyone could guess what was coming next.
