Chapter 198 - Day 198: Golden wooly (IV)

"Hehe, I really like that enthusiasm! But unfortunately, it's a rule that you can only fulfill one request a day!" And that voice that they just heard belonged to an orange-haired girl who had a cute smile on her face as she gave off a rather contagious positivity.

"Good morning, Shara." Blake actually knew whom that voice belonged to without actually seeing it. "By the way, I think you forgot to tell me that point about requests."

"Did I not tell you…? It seems I forgot, hehe." Shara had given herself a small bump on the head to make it even more clear that she had forgotten about it, but before she continued with her performance, she turned her attention back to Ragna. "I don't think we've met before, what's your name?"

Shara took the initiative to start the conversation, which took Ragna a bit by surprise. Blake decided to keep quiet so they could introduce themselves, but at the same time, memories of the first time he met Shara came back to him.

'I hope she doesn't want to force Ragna to live in the town against his will…' Only Blake could relate to those thoughts… Well, maybe not just him, since, around the world, three people had sneezed at the same time.

"My name is Ragna D. La… Just Ragna, haha! Nice to meet you…" Ragna started acting nervous as he had almost talked too much again.

"Shara. My name is Shara Emery. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ragna." Shara didn't take long to tell him her name, but besides that, Blake raised one of his eyebrows since he didn't remember that Shara had told him her last name, although he didn't give it much importance either. "So... May I know what exactly are you doing?"

Shara placed one of her fingers under her chin with a thoughtful expression on her face.

"I was interested in taking on some request, sister Shara." Ragna didn't hide anything, although Shara had already guessed all that since she managed to overhear the conversation from earlier.

"That's wonderful! Have you decided on one yet, Ragna?" Shara didn't feel strange about the way she called her Ragna, after all, in the past she had come across wizards, witches, and runics who called others that way.

"I was waiting for brother Blake to recommend one." Blake was forced into the conversation due to Ragna's words. He really had no problem with that, so after another glance, Blake chose one that seemed convenient for Ragna.

"It seems that in this request they need someone who collects materials in the Privera forest, also the client is about Evelyn, so I suppose it will not be difficult for you to find her." Blake told all this to Ragna while he gave him the announcement.

Ragna took it and then looked at it carefully before making up his mind.

"It's really convenient, I was planning to visit them too, so it's like putting both shoes on one foot." Ragna had an excited expression, and without waiting for Blake or Shara to say anything else, he ran off into the distance.

"I've never heard that expression..." Shara was somewhat confused by Ragna's words.

"Actually, I think Ragna just made it up." Blake didn't pay much attention to that, plus it seemed like he could finally tell Shara about the request. "Anyway, I saw the letter you sent me, Shara."

"I was going to ask if you've seen it, and since I don't have to explain anything else, let's go!" Shara yelled that last part as she started to walk leaving Blake behind her and he just shook his head a little before running until he caught up with her figure.

After Blake reached Shara again, he realized that the path they were following was the same path he always took when he wanted to go to the Privera forest. He didn't ask where exactly they were going, but that didn't mean that there wouldn't be another conversation between them.

"Are you excited about the festival, Blake?"

"I can't say no, the last ones I've been in always leave me wanting more, plus I still haven't finished in the first place." Maybe Blake was being a bit ambitious, but he really wanted to win.

"Hehe, maybe today is your lucky day, but still, give it your all!" The words of encouragement, plus the energy that Shara gave off, made Blake feel quite prepared for what would come later.

"I will do my best. You won't participate, Shara?" Now it was Blake's turn to ask her that.

"Of course, I will participate, although in most of the festivals I only participate helping with the preparations or with the tasks that my grandfather gives me, I don't think that the main event is my style." Shara expressed what was on her mind and Blake could understand her. "But that doesn't mean I don't like the main events, the next festival is the spring harvest festival, if you plan to participate, my flowers will be a difficult opponent for you."

Shara had a rather characteristic smile on his face, Blake felt that he had just been challenged, so he wasn't going to flinch, although he didn't know exactly what the festival Shara was talking about was about...

They both continued on their way to the point where Blake realized that they had even left Daria's quaint cabin behind at the same time that it seemed strange to him that he had not heard her characteristic scream in the surroundings.

"By the way, I wanted to tell you something, Blake." Shara said those words to catch his attention again.

"Something happens?" Blake showed some curiosity.

"I actually thought I'd tell you since I know you're exploring the areas around town; by the way, thanks for taking care of the raccoon, I don't think I had thanked you yet." Blake accepted her words without much problem, but Shara still hadn't finished speaking. "So, it's not a request, but I'd like you to tell me if you see a monster in particular."

Shara's words were somewhat mysterious, Blake somewhat understood what she was saying, but still he had to ask.

"What kind of monster are you referring to?"

"It could be said that it's nothing strange or a dangerous monster, it's quite simple." And, after keeping a little silent, Shara said those words that made Blake freeze for a second. "I would like you to tell me if you see to a little golden wooly ever."
