Time went on without stopping, Blake didn't stop repeating the same process the whole time, so it was pretty obvious that the amount of runic energy he was refining would be harnessed by both his elemental core and his route.
So after a few hours, Blake experienced the inevitable. The runes that had to do with time glowed brightly around him, but no one apart from him could notice that.
Blake was aware of what was happening, he felt like he was about to break through a thin wall that had appeared in front of him, and after a few seconds, it was pretty clear what was happening.
He opened his eyes again as he stopped absorbing the runes around him, he felt a sudden boost in his vitality as well as his energy, and the words he heard from Mei a second later convinced him completely.
"Seventh level of Runic awakening…" Mei herself said just that before falling silent again, plus she had noticed that Blake was busy with his own thoughts.
Actually, he was seeing the new increase in his stats, which made him quite satisfied before turning his attention back to Mei.
"Hmm... Was this enough?" Blake didn't know how many times he had asked something similar, but he felt that the situation he found himself in wouldn't end until Mei gave him the last word.
"I should ask you that, aren't there any other questions running through your head?" Blake thought again for a bit before asking.
"Well... Is there something strange with my route?" Blake needed that confirmation, even though he supposed Mei had noticed something.
"Yes, it's pretty weird. But actually, all the routes have their own characteristics that make them unique, so it shouldn't be that much of an exaggeration in your case... I would only recommend that you avoid showing it to anyone else unless absolutely necessary, but I must say that you are quite lucky, your route is quite beneficial for you, but above all, the runes that belong to your affinity play an important role, besides that they possess a large amount of runic energy, basically it is as if you have an endless plate of food just for you." Blake returned Nodding to Mei's words, he was also aware that, until now, only he had taken advantage of time element runes, so that could explain his growth speed.
"By the way… Can great master tell me how long it takes for someone to go from one level to another in Runic awakening?" Blake thought of that question right then and there. He didn't have an estimate of that since, in his case, he felt that he had leveled up too fast… And listening to Mei, he realized that it was true.
"It's pretty clear that as the level increases, so does the amount of elemental essence your core has to absorb, so the amount of time can vary greatly due to various aspects, but if you want to hear an approximate… An ordinary runic would take at least two months to go from the sixth to the seventh level of Runic awakening." At first, Mei was thinking of not answering Blake's question as she thought it would make him a bit cocky, but she had told him that she would answer everything he asked honestly.
Blake was busy with his thoughts now, of course he had been surprised, he was sure that not even more than a few hours had passed since he had started to cultivate, but he had already broken through a full level of runic awakening… That was pretty scary if you thought about it carefully.

Blake understood what she had told him since he had experienced something similar in the past. The first time he entered the runic path and reached the fifth level of Runic awakening he directly felt that his overall strength had taken a huge leap and it took him takes a while to get used to enough.
"I guess it's a bit late, I won't bother you anymore, I'm already quite satisfied with everything I saw." Mei said that without really looking at Blake.
Blake was thinking of saying goodbye to her since it seemed that that moment had arrived, but he didn't have time to do it since Mei had mysteriously disappeared again without leaving a single trace of her.
Now the place was silent again until Ragna's snoring was heard again by Blake. He didn't know exactly what time it was, but he just needed that thought for the system to do its job for him.

"Has it really been that long? It seems he was too focused on cultivate..." Blake could get used to the new concepts he heard fast enough, so he didn't find it strange to use that word anymore, although he thought he would avoid saying it like that if it wasn't necessary.
He didn't really have anything to do anymore, his gaze went to Ragna's calm appearance while he was inside his sleeping bag, so Blake caught a bit of that as well causing him to be drawn to his bed as if it was enticing him to be caught in the dream's embrace.
A sudden yawn left him as he moved closer and felt the comfort of the bed under him, now his head was resting peacefully on his pillow as he took one last look at the system screen showing what he had won that day.
