"I... An Earthmate?" The words unconsciously came out of Blake's mouth expressing his deep confusion after hearing what Ragna had just said. Blake didn't understand why he thought that, but it seemed like everything would be a bit clearer since Shino couldn't help but ask.
"Ragna, why do you say that Blake is an Earthmate?" That was the question that everyone had on his mind, and Ragna was quick to answer, although he was also somewhat confused since he believed that Blake was aware of that.
"I say it for this reason." And after searching for something again in his small backpack, Ragna took out something that once again left most of those present confused.
"Why do you show us your empty hands?" Sakuya couldn't help but ask since that was exactly what she was looking at, Ragna had his hands out in front of everyone while there was nothing on them, but that didn't really seem to be the case once Mei started saying some simple instructions.
"Use your rök and you will be able to see it a little." Mei said that since she knew what she was trying to do Ragna everyone would understand a little more.
Both Sakuya and Shino did as she told them so that their vision would later blend with the world of runes they were used to, but once they used rök to see into Ragna's hands, they realized that it was actually they weren't empty, though that didn't help much to know exactly what it was.
In short, what was shown before them was a set of runes concentrated in Ragna's hands, these seemed to be something more special than the ones they were used to seeing because the movements and energy accumulated in that area made it even, they thought they had a sensitivity similar to a living being.
They both left the world of runes behind after experiencing that, Shino was already aware of the existence of that phenomenon and had no more doubts, but that was not the case with Sakuya.
"What is that? It's the first time I've seen something like this." Something new had appeared in front of her again, and she would never let something like that go unanswered due to her curiosity, but it seemed that the explanation would take a while since Ragna turned his attention to Blake.
"Can you see them, brother Blake?" Blake listened attentively to his question before turning his gaze to Ragna's hands.
Unlike everyone else who only saw his empty hands or that strange phenomenon, Blake's case was different, he could see how there was something extremely familiar. There were four strange creatures in front of him, all of them relatively humanoid in shape and each displaying quite special characteristics.
One was blue in color and it could be seen with the naked eye that a huge amount of runes of the water element surrounded it, it had a small body with some stripes with a darker color while its head resembled a drop of water at the same time that it had a giggly smile on this one.
Another was the same green color as the trees, and repeating the same case, many wind element runes swirled around it. Its body only consisted of a pair of legs without arms, it had the same pattern of lines and on its head, there were a pair of leaves fluttering with the same breeze caused by the runes while a huge smile adorned what seemed to be its face.
The third of them was somewhat simpler, it could be said that it was practically a small rock with a pair of feet, its gray color, in addition to the same lines, decorated its entire body. The earth element runes remained static around it while the small creature watched everything while an expression of astonishment lingered on it.
And in the middle of all of them, there was the last creature that was the one that was truly familiar to Blake, it was the same one that would appear in his cultivation fields from time to time and absorb it to increase its skills a bit, but he could notice that there were some differences.
It had the same brown body with peculiar lines while a small branch with a leaf protruded from its head, but a really large number of life element runes danced around it, which made Blake sure that it was not the same that he had seen.
Blake had reached out his hand to touch them thinking that the same thing would happen as always, but this time, those creatures were not absorbed into his body, they had climbed into his hand while they seemed to be playing and enjoying the environment around them.
"You seem to be able to see them perfectly." Ragna double-checked that he was correct by seeing Blake with his attention completely focused on the peculiar creatures.
"Yes, you said they were called Runeys, right?" Blake was still busy playing with the little spirits a bit, or at least that's what he thought they were.
"Exactly, as I told you before, they are a kind of spirit that exists throughout the world and it is thanks to them that the runes gather in various places, these are especially Runeys of the earth, wind, water, and life elements, they are the most common ones to find, too…" The conversation between the two boys seemed to like it wasn't going to end, although in reality the explanation was helpful to the others present.
"So this is why you say Blake is an Earthmate?" Mei was the first to speak after that, she had various knowledge about it, but it was actually a completely different world that she couldn't get to since she wasn't an Earthmate.
So she let Ragna give her opinion, after all, who better than an Earthmate himself to check all that?
