"Okay, now for the next test." Using his new form, or at least he thought so, Blake approached the two monsters in the distance until he was close enough away for them to notice him.
Both the slime and the duck-like creature noticed Blake's arrival and their attention was drawn to him as he peered at the peculiar creatures.
The slime could be defined as a creature with a totally green gelatinous body that was not very pleasant to look at, while the supposed duck had the shape of a rather plump bird and its beak seemed to outline a smile at that moment at the same time that the simple reddish sphere was still behind them.
'They still haven't attacked me like any monster would, maybe my idea isn't as crazy as I thought." And noticing that the situation was still the same, Blake continued with what he had planned. "Ah, hello..."
His voice fully reached the two monsters in front of him, the idea that he wanted to test was whether he was able to communicate with monsters or something, so this was the best way to check, and hearing the sound that came after what he said made lighten up a bit.
"Quack?"
"..." The duck's simple sound of confusion accompanied by the slime's "words" were enough for Blake to think that he had succeeded, but then he was disappointed to realize that he couldn't really understand what they said
'Sigh... There went my whole plan to be able to communicate with them... Well, at least it seems they don't attack me while I'm in my monster form.' But contradicting that thought, Blake had to move from his spot the instant he saw how the body of the silent slime had stretched enough for a kind of arm to form on it and throw it in Blake's direction making him forget all his previous thoughts. 'Why do all the monsters hate me, I'm practically almost one of them!'
And leaving his mental complaints for another moment, Blake felt how a pain was generated next to him and then shot through the air and stopped thanks to the trunk of a nearby palm tree.
"Agh!... This has to be a joke!" That expression had left him once he visualized that his attacker had been the duck from moments ago and that his life bar had been reduced by one hundred points with that single blow.
Wasting no time, he cast the cure spell to regain that lost life as well as realizing that he could still use spells while in that form. He had been attacked by surprise before, but once he had positioned himself and could perfectly visualize the situation, he was convinced that it was time to try something else.
"I tried to be friendly, but that doesn't seem to work with you! ~Baa~!" Blake had already entered his combat mode, and even though it was his first time fighting in his wooly mode, the memories he had with him were enough for him to defend himself at that moment.
Blake quickly approached the duck that had attacked him earlier, and dodging the wing that was directed towards him by ducking slightly, he managed to grab its legs and use the surprising strength of his new body to lift the plump duck into the air and give repeated turns on himself over and over again to finally give a powerful scream.
"You'll be the first to try this technique in a long time! Woolly Tornado!" Blake's gyrations in his wooly form hadn't stopped and both the image of himself and the seasick duck had actually turned into a gold-colored tornado that was producing slight gusts of wind in the area, but that didn't last long at all at the moment the duck's body went flying through the air until it also crashed into the palm tree from before and broke it in half with the impact while a value of -500 came out of the duck's body. "What did you think of that?!"
But his enemy could not answer anything since it had turned into the familiar sphere of light and then disappeared indicating that it had returned to the forest of beginnings.
Blake saw this and didn't stop once he turned his attention to the gelatinous creature a few feet away from him. He didn't think of anything else as he closed the distance and landed several blows against it at the same time that he saw the familiar damage values coming off it.
'I even do more damage than using my sword, although it feels a little disgusting to touch the body of the slime.' Blake gave one last exchange of blows with his paws to finally take the body of the slime between them and make a huge jump before launching it with all his strength towards the ground realizing that a value of -300 appeared on its body and the same thing happened like the smiling duck.
The area had been cleared after that quick confrontation and Blake did not stop when he approached the huge reddish sphere that did not resist his attacks and then vanished leaving a small crystal with it that Blake did not take long to investigate.
{Fire Crystal. Level 1.

"Hmm... I don't think Shoku would like this type of crystal." Finished that little exercise and now that there wasn't a single monster in sight, Blake was able to breathe calmly until the voice of the system was heard repeatedly.
