Chapter 153 - Day 153: Sharance labyrinth (III)

"Yeah, I got it, isn't there something else you want to say?"

[New Technique Learned: Monstrous Dash.]

"That... That's basically the same thing only without a sword... Anyway, let's see what this new ability is."

{Combat. Level: 5. Progress: 12%

Skill increased by fighting without weapons. Raises attack and lowers RP spend when fighting hand-to-hand. Improve RP and STR.}

"I really feel like almost everything I do becomes a skill... But I've already said it, I'm not going to complain if it means I can get stronger." Stretching a bit and uttering the same spell as before, the figure de Blake appeared again leaving behind the form of the little wooly to later use a teleportation and appear in front of the door of his beloved home with a single idea in his mind. "I don't like to accept it, but I'm still weak. If I hadn't been able to defeat those monsters without receiving more attacks, I highly doubt my life would have been enough to resist..."

Blake realized that if he wanted to go further into the desert, he had to further improve his strength. It was like the first time he entered the Privera forest, he couldn't go without worries since he didn't know what monsters were in the wild and it was likely that he would end up in trouble just like Wells had told him, so not knowing what to do next, thought of something that might help him train.

The peculiar interface had appeared in front of him again and Blake didn't think twice when he touched the new tab to be teleported to the strange place from before that had the name "Sharance labyrinth"

[Do you want to venture into the Forest Quest?]

That question rang out the instant he set foot in the forest area he had encountered the first time, and attending the question, everything around him seemed to glow a little so that he could move freely through its place.

The open area where Blake stood seemed to be limited to a small circle with an entrance in front of him. He deduced that he had to take that path, but he wanted to investigate the surroundings, and once he realized that he could not cross beyond the limits of the area since some kind of force was repelling him, he simply chose to continue along the only path there was.

"Well, this is a dungeon, so there will most likely be monsters in it, it would be the most logical thing, right?" And following that logic, Blake had reached the end of the road when a new area very similar to the previous one appeared in front of him. A summoning gate appeared in the middle of the place as well as a couple of monsters with it, Blake noticed how behind him the path he came from had just closed and he simply prepared himself for the confrontation.

The monsters were not very different from the ones he already knew, it was a mushroom like the ones in the forest and a white wool wooly that made him wonder if he should attack it, but noticing how they did not hesitate to launch themselves, Blake did not either and used his sword for battle.

The confrontation did not last long, Blake was already familiar enough with those monsters and their way of fighting, so it was not very difficult to deal with them besides the sphere that floated in the middle of the place.

"There wasn't much different from normal monsters, but I noticed that they seemed to have higher resistance... The system said that it's recommended to be level fifteen for this labyrinth, maybe that's because that's the level of the monsters here..." Leaving his deductions aside, Blake noticed that new paths appeared on the sides of the area and that he had to choose which one to go next, but before that, his attention was taken by a blue chest that it had appeared right after finishing off all the enemies. "And what is this? It doesn't seem to be a mystery box or something like that, could it be a trap?"

Hesitating and putting his shield in front of him to ward off anything that might happen, he slowly opened the chest so that the next second he breathed a sigh of relief after the voice of the system sounded in his head.

[Acquired: Recipe Bread – Weapon.]

[Acquired: Pol Axe+.]

[Acquired: Sakura.]

The chest had disappeared showing a scene quite similar to mystery boxes, but that didn't matter to Blake at all as his attention was completely caught by the system notifications and he quickly went to check it out.

"Wow, that's actually a pretty good attack boost, though I've never used an axe before." Blake equipped it just by thinking about it and realized that it was heavy enough that he had to use both hands to avoid being able to use his shield, but how believed, the voice of the system made its appearance.

[Two-handed ax equipped. Basic two-handed ax techniques learned.]

New information had appeared in his mind and it was enough for Blake to take the ax firmly and correctly, he had suddenly felt really comfortable with it, but after thinking about it, he simply put it away to continue seeing the last item he obtained from that chest.
