There were several notes with different requests on the bulletin board, some a little strange at first glance, but in the end, Blake took one that he thought would be suitable.
[I'm not hungry.
Client: Sofia
Bring something to eat.]
"Ehhh... Yes, it really is very confusing." Sofia's peculiar way of expressing herself continued to confuse Blake a bit and, even if he tried to guess what she meant, it was best to go with her to be completely sure.
...
He had already arrived at the huge mansion in the town and it didn't take him long to enter, unlike the previous times he was there, he was quickly greeted by a kind of robot if it had to be called something. At first glance it could be seen that it was made of a material similar to rock, it was wearing some strange clothes that it was not difficult to guess who had put them on and its size was no bigger than that of an average adult.
Blake really was greatly surprised to see it since it was something too unique, he even felt like there was a lot of runic energy inside it, but despite that, he noticed that it had been staring at him since he crossed the door.
He was about to make one of his attempts to talk to the inanimate things, but it wasn't necessary once a new voice arrived on the scene.
"Oh, it's a surprise to see you here, Blake. It seems that you already met." Evelyn made her presence known after leaving the room that was surely her sewing workshop and pointing to the strange being that was mentioned before.
"Um, yeah, I... Can you tell me what it is?"
"Hehe, it's not strange that you don't know, it's not common to see them around here. Basically, it's some kind of golem, it was a gift from our uncle when we went to the Uruz continent, they are really fascinating, and I can't deny it, it's incredibly useful, you just need to link it through your runic energy and you can tell it what to do, for example, bring some tea please, two cups will be fine." Just as Evelyn finished that instruction, the golem that seemed completely static bowed slightly and went deeper into the mansion to fulfill the request.
"I don't know what to say, I've never seen anything like that."
"I was also very surprised the first time I saw it, but, anyway, what brings you here?"
"Actually, I came by..."
"That's right, I almost forgot! Come, follow me!" Regardless of Blake's opinion, he was again dragged by Evelyn until they reached her work area again. "I thought about it for many days, but in the end, I had to decide to take the initial design of your clothes, I assumed that it would be the best for you, it has all the characteristics that I was looking for and I hope you like it."
Without delay, Evelyn pulled out from among all the clothes that there was an outfit that Blake was quick to identify as one equal to him.
"I considered it as similar as possible so you wouldn't lose the comfort you're already used to, I just added a few extra designs and changed the color with some green tones, what do you think?" What Evelyn had said was totally true, that outfit looked exactly like the one Blake was wearing.
"It's... It's really perfect, I feel like it's something I would wear all the time."
"Then you should try it on, you can do it in that room." Without hesitation, Blake went for some privacy to make the change and after a few minutes he came out in his new clothes.
"How do I look?"
"You give off a feeling that the field accompanies you all the time, although you already transmitted that from before, hehe. It may seem simple, but I actually made it so that when you use it, your magic attacks and defense will increase a little, it's not a big deal, but I'm sure you'll notice it. Is there nothing bothering you this time?"
"Don't worry, I'm quite satisfied with the result."
"I appreciate your honesty, I had also thought about adding some spell array to make it have some other feature, but I felt it wasn't necessary, although I can do it if you have something in mind."
"Eh, really...? Maybe I'll keep this as it is for now... But isn't it kind of hard to add spells to clothes?"
"It's actually quite the opposite, of course, as long as they're not too advanced spell arrays, so it's no problem for me to do it in the future."
"I see... Then I should take care of the clothes you make me and not be as rough as I usually do." Only a laugh came from both of them as Blake experienced the feel of his new outfit against his skin, but he had to stop himself once he saw the golem return accompanied by Sofia.
"What horrible weather we have!" The typical comments with opposites coming out of her in the form of a greeting were heard.
"Sigh... I see you finished your walk around town." Evelyn sighed as she listened to the way her dear sister spoke.
"No, it was really horrible, by the way, do we have guests?"
"Hi, Sofia, I was actually coming to get you." Sofia was a little surprised by what Blake said, but she quickly began to understand.
"To me…? Ah, did you not see my request?"
"Yes, I really wanted to ask what exactly it was."
"So that's it, actually, I don't want to eat!"
"Huh? No, so I guess…" But Sofia's voice was heard before he continued.
"That's why I wouldn't want you to make me something to eat!"
"Wait, what?" Again, a conversation had been generated that was somewhat difficult for Blake to understand, his mind was already fully working to understand everything, but he still needed to be completely sure. "So, does that mean you want me to prepare you something to eat?"
"No!" Giving that "confirmation", Blake thought he understood that Sofia just wanted something to eat, but when he was about to leave to prepare everything, Evelyn's voice made him jump.
"That's enough, Sofia! Stop talking like that! Nobody understands what you're trying to say!" Evelyn's expression expressed some annoyance when she said that.
"I..." Sofia was surprised by that and, although she tried to say something, she remained silent.
The situation seemed like something Blake shouldn't get into; he could see that Evelyn's face had a very serious complexion and those words were enough for Sofia to lower her head as Evelyn realized what she had just done and her face became one of complete guilt.
"Sofia... I'm sorry, is just..." A deep silence was generated in the room, it seemed that both sisters didn't want to say anything after that, but noticing that Blake was still there, things couldn't end like this. "Sorry, Blake. I think it was kind of awkward to see that..."
"I also apologize, I think none of this was my fault." Despite this, it seemed that Sofia couldn't stop talking in that peculiar way.
"Don't worry... So, what exactly did Sofia say?" Blake wanted to change the subject of the conversation as quickly as he could, and they all appreciated that as Evelyn tried to explain the situation to him a little.
"Well... When Sofia said "no", she meant yes."
"I guess it's actually quite simple if so. Then I'll just have to cook you something, Sofia?" Seeking confirmation from her, Blake caught Sofia's eye.
"You idiot! Of course that's not what I meant! I would greatly appreciate it if you would!"
"I guess that was the opposite, right? Then I won't bring it to you, haha..."
"Not you too..." Evelyn slapped her face in exasperation upon hearing that someone else was being influenced.
Saying goodbye for the moment, Blake left the mansion at the same time thinking about what exactly to prepare, he had some ideas, but he didn't really have the materials to do it, but after pondering it for a few seconds, an idea came to him and he was on his way.
