It only took an instant, but when the person in front of them appeared in their line of sight, several thoughts took over their minds and they couldn't do anything to avoid it.
'Suddenly... I can't help but stop seeing Marian.' Blake was totally lost in Marian's features realizing how special she was while Marian had thoughts of her own.
'Blake always had such a deep look...? He… Why am I realizing that now?' Marian was beginning to feel very confused as she did not understand her own thoughts.
"Marian..." Blake called her slightly.
"Yes…?" A slight reddish hue could be seen on Marian's cheeks as she realized Blake's call to her causing a new sensation to completely surround her.
'Damn, was she always this cute? Why am I even aware of that until now?' Blake was trying not to think too much about it, but it seemed impossible.
'He hasn't stopped looking at me, I feel so embarrassed, besides we're alone right now, I don't know what could happen...' Marian was experiencing the greatest embarrassment she had ever had in her life while imagining things she wouldn't normally do.
And the moment that scene was running its course, a smiling old lady arrived at the moment she started everything while she had her own thoughts about it.
'Oh, maybe my jokes weren't so far off the mark, I think I can hear the bells in the distance now, hehehe.' But once she snapped out of her crazy thoughts of the future, something made her understand the reason why was all that happening. "This smell... Sigh... That silly girl."
Going back to the previous scene, both Blake and Marian were still looking into each other's eyes as they were slowly getting closer to each other at the same time that the blush that was in both could be seen making only their imaginations know what would happen next, but before whatever happened, everything was interrupted by the blows to the head they received at the same time making them return to reality and notice the person who was near them.
"Huh? Grandma?" Marian seemed to have returned from a long trip as she asked why her grandmother was there at that time.
"What happened?" Blake felt the same way, so he waited for an explanation.
"Sigh... So, yes that was it, what were you trying to do with this potion?" Marjorie had in her hands the same bottle with the pink liquid that had already been reduced by more than half.
"Potion? it was supposed to be an energizer, I even used several fruits, you always say that they are enough to fill you with energy." And without warning, Marian received a blow to the head with her grandmother's broom.
"That's true, but this thing is not an energizer, what you made is a love potion!" And hearing that, a simple scream came from Marian.
"What?!"
"Yes, and from what I could see, Blake and you were suffering from the effects, for a moment I thought you had gotten together without me noticing, it's a shame."
"I-I... I didn't know!" Marian couldn't think of an excuse and, not caring about anything else, she went upstairs with a completely flushed face leaving Blake totally confused by what she had just been through.
Once everything seemed to calm down, he realized that Marjorie was next to him and proceeded to tell her what had really happened, avoiding any other misunderstanding.
"I see, so it's just some fatigue. The potion you drank must have removed it, and I can tell from your face that it worked, now what did you do to feel that way?" Blake was barely aware that his fatigued state had indeed been removed, and he thought that he didn't hear the system notification since he was too busy being hypnotized...
"Well... Let's just say I didn't sleep all night." And as expected, he got hit with her master's broom.
"Hmph! These youngsters think they don't even need to sleep, I'll tell you right now, you should sleep every day, it doesn't matter, sleep is one of the most important things, don't think you can stay up as long as you want and use medicine or potions to remove your fatigue, in the end you will only endanger your health, do you understand?" Marjorie's serious voice filled Blake's ears.
"Yeah, sorry..." Once the scolding was over, Blake said goodbye after telling his master that there was nothing weird to mention and that he would make sure not to forget her advice and then continue on his way and arrive in front of a store he hadn't visited in several days. "Uh... Good morning."
The target of her greeting at that time was the sleepy silver-haired girl who seemed to have come out of the dream world upon hearing Blake's voice.
"Welcome... Yawn... (Is it morning yet?)" The typical reaction made Blake not worry about Karina.
'I think she could use some of Marian's medicine, although I don't know if it would really help…' Leaving his ideas for another time, Blake mentioned the reason why he was there. "Hi, Karina. I came to see if Hazel was here."
"Yes, she's on the second floor, you can go up if you want... Yawnn... (I think I'll go back to sleep)"
"Thank you, and... Good night." Leaving Karina in her place again, Blake went up the stairs until he managed to see Hazel while she also saw him.
"Ah, Blake, good morning, I'm glad you're here."
"Yes, I saw the letter that was in my mailbox, I wanted to know exactly what that request was about." Hazel had not forgotten the letter that she had put in Blake's mailbox and was glad that he came so soon.
"So that was it, it's not complicated at all, can you take these tea leaves to Marjorie? Today I'm a bit busy preparing some things and you would be a great help, I'd ask Karina, but I think she did end up falling asleep in the middle of the road and I better avoid that."
'...I think I should have come before going to the pharmacy.' And accepting both Hazel's request and the system notification, Blake retraced his steps until he arrived again at one of the places that, in his opinion, was too dangerous. "Sigh... I made it out alive today, I hope I have the same luck again..."
