Chapter 24 - Too Closed

"You can, right?" Sean stared intently at Asya's eyes, piercing right into the girl's retina.

Meanwhile, Asya was quite surprised by Sean's request. Being his fake girlfriend again? Hey, come on! Asya is so lazy with fake titles again, really troublesome and of course useless! However, the man's serious gaze somehow made Asya feel at home looking at him for a few seconds, dissolved in that seriousness.

"Asyara," Sean called gently shaking Asya's shoulder, successfully making the girl stop her daydream.

Asya blinked, but Sean's gaze, which was too intense, made Asya embarrassed. The girl glanced the other way to avoid Sean's gaze.

"Ekhm! Ah! Your kite is flying! The reels are attracted!" Asya screamed suddenly when she saw that Sean's reel that the man had kept beside him had also floated into the air, attracted by the kite that was still flying. This was because the wind was still blowing pretty hard, and because Sean ignored it, it finally started to roll away, away from where Sean was stepping.

Sean was wide-eyed and immediately followed the direction of Asya's gaze. And sure enough, the reels are attracted!

"Ah, dammit! My kite!" Sean shouted in surprise as he stepped up the roof to reach the scroll. However, the reels were getting farther and farther away, making it difficult for Sean to reach them. The man could not pay attention to his precarious footing. Not to mention the condition of the sloping roof that makes Sean's body balance he can't maintain properly.

"Hey! Be careful!" shouted Asya warning when Sean seemed to have difficulty walking.

However, Sean's footsteps accidentally stumbled, until finally the man's body fell hard, hitting the tiles until some of the tiles broke. Sean's body slumped down and toppled over several times.

BRUGH! NOT! NOT! NOT!

"Sean!" Asya screamed hysterically. The girl then stepped towards Sean who was lying on his stomach weak, helpless. Asya stepped carefully. The condition of the sloping roof makes anyone vulnerable to falling from there. But luckily Sean's body still survived.

"Are you ok?" asked Asya quite panicked. The girl patted Sean on the back, and the guy just answered with a small mumble.

"My reel... my kite..." Sean muttered quietly.

Asya rolled her eyes. "Forget about it. Think for yourself! Come on, get up!" said the girl while helping Sean to get up. The girl then supported the man's large body, with slow and careful steps.

After arriving at the precarious condition which was flat, Asya sat the man down. The girl immediately hissed in pain when she saw Sean's wound.

The man's face was covered with horrible scars. Chin, neck, temples and lips. Spots of blood adorned his handsome face.

"Oh, my goodness. This is quite serious," Asya said as she raised her hands to check Sean's wounds but Asya was confused about how she was so panicked.

Sean held Asya's hand and looked at the girl expressionlessly. "Don't panic like that." Sean warned, making Asya stare at the man silently, finally Asya sighed softly and exhaled.

"Okay, but let me check your wound. Maybe I can treat it," said Asya. The girl's hand reached out and grabbed Sean's jaw, Asya slightly lifted the man's jaw to look at the wound around his neck. He gently blew on the wound.

Asya hissed. "It must be awful," he mumbled.

"Why did you blow on the wound instead?" protested Sean looked at Asya strangely.

"My mom said blowing the wound can neutralize the infection," the girl replied.

"Tch, myth," said Sean quickly.

Asya ignored it. The girl again examined Sean's wound seriously, blowing the blister on the man's temple. Without Asya knowing, Sean watched the girl's face closely. So close, that Sean could see Asya's eyelashes were long and curly, very beautiful. Asya's sparkling beads also caught Sean's attention.

Seeing Asya this close, made Sean feel something else. Until Asya was still supporting Sean's chin, the girl unconsciously blew the wound on the man's lips. Asya blew it close enough, for a few seconds Asya gasped, when she felt that the distance between her lips and Sean's lips was too close. Asya was so glued to the man's wound that she didn't realize that she was too close to Sean.

Asya felt her heart beat faster than usual. A minty, Sean scent wafted into his nostrils. Damn, Asya liked this scent too much. The girl turned her face away from Sean, she was already embarrassed. But before that happened, Sean held Asya's arm, surprising Asya and looking directly at the man.

Asya's intense gaze returned, a bead looking deeply at him.

"Why do you always sniff when you're close to me?" asked Sean in a low voice.

Asya raised her eyebrows. "Ah, it's just your feelings. I didn't smell anything," replied Asya trying to hide her habit.

Sean smirked. "So what's your answer? You want to be my fake girlfriend again?" Sean asked again.

Asya again stuck with the man's request. What should Asia do? He clearly wanted to refuse. Seriously, if Asya accepts it, it's the same as being toyed with. Besides, Asya remembers Alma who looks disappointed when he finds out that Asya is close to Sean.

Asya released her hand from Sean's grip. The girl then stood up. "I have a lot of homework. Oh! I'll also bring betadine and cotton. You wait, okay! Excuse me," said Asya, the girl quickly stepped onto the balcony and went inside, leaving Sean alone there.

Sean was shocked to get such a reaction from Asya. What is a form of rejection? Hey, come on. All the girls he met were even very happy to be Sean's girlfriend even though he knew Sean was only pretending. However, look at Asya, the girl looks very prestige. Even though Sean did not invite him to crime, and of course it would not harm Asya herself. Because of Asya's reaction, Sean begins to conclude that Asya might want a reward for being a pretend girlfriend, but how much money does Sean have to spend to melt Asya?

Asya stepped quickly down the stairs from the second floor, the girl didn't care about the risk of her legs tripping so quickly she took the stairs one by one. The girl cared more about her beating heart, which was beating wildly.

Asya closed her eyes, trying to catch her breath while holding her heart area. The thought of him blowing Sean's lips made Asya's mind race, then the man's intense gaze… dammit! Why is Sean so adorable?!

However, when she realized what she was thinking, Asya immediately shook her head quickly. Don't let Asya get caught up in the man's charm. He prefers to go into the room and take the ship and betadine, after that Asya goes back up to the second floor to give Sean wound medicine.

When Asya arrived, he did not see the presence of anyone. It was empty, and Sean seemed to have left there, even though Asya had only left the man for a few minutes.
