Chapter 16 - It's All Your Fault not Mine

A man's firm bead is pointed forward, staring intently at a male teacher who is explaining a lesson.

It was still nine o'clock. Another hour of recess, for Sean and some of the other students an hour seemed like a day, long enough. Because the lesson they are following now is a lesson that is quite tiring for the mind.

"Okay, since you all understand, I ask you to do the questions on the blackboard. Don't worry about the prize, because you have prepared a gift for you," said Mr. Erwin, the Physics teacher. Mr. Erwin's words immediately made the students excited, doing something in return was something that made them literate.

"So, who wants? Go ahead, okay?" said Mr. Erwin again.

Sean stood up from his seat, holding a notebook. It got all eyes on him.

"Oh, Sean. Prince of our school, please come forward," said Mr. Erwin.

Sean calmly stepped to the front of the class, began to take markers and work on the problems written on the blackboard. Several girls were whispering, talking about Sean, and admiring the man. Sean is very popular. Having perfect body proportions, handsome face, born in a rich family with admirable achievements. Almost everyone at his school looked at Sean like a prince worthy of praise.

When he finished working on the problem, Sean saved his marker. Mr. Erwin, who had been staring at Sean's hand movements, then clapped his hands, while nodding as a sign that he was impressed with Sean's ability to solve problems. Followed by applause from other students. There were also some students who looked at Sean with disdain for always being rivaled, and it was difficult to progress quickly because Sean had too perfect grades.

Sean then went to his seat. Damn, he wanted to go to the cafeteria now. His stomach was hungry, but this Physics lesson seemed to be going slowly. As soon as he sat down in the chair, Sean felt his phone vibrate. Silently, the man reached into his trouser pocket and turned on his cell phone. He sees some incoming chain messages.

Sean frowned, without further ado he read it.

Crish :

'Sean, isn't a girl named Asyara Hemalia your girlfriend?'

'She had an accident! And I don't know who her parents are!'

'Come here. I have a lot of work to do, please help me!'

The man's eyes widened. Asyara? Accident? The girl he danced with yesterday? But, why did Crish ask him to come there? Sean had nothing to do with the girl.

Oh Lord. Sean almost forgot that he had introduced Asya as his girlfriend to Crish yesterday. And this is the risk. It sucks, but Sean is quite worried about Asya if the girl gets into an accident.

"Excuse me, Sir." Sean immediately got up from the chair. Standing tall with a serious look. It made Sean back into the spotlight of the class. "My family was in an accident. I was allowed to go to the hospital to see him. If so, I'd be very grateful, Sir," Sean said trying to be polite.

Mr. Erwin frowned. He refused to give permission to Sean. Especially in the middle of class like this. However, because Sean is a bright and friendly student, Mr. Erwin believes that Sean's business is more important now.

"Okay. Please ask the principal for permission, okay?"

"Okay, Sir. Thank you." Sean agreed.

Sean took a deep breath. The man sat beside Asya's ward. Damn, this is his fault. That's why Sean got involved with Asya. And if Sean gets into trouble, will Asya get involved too?

Crish and Lathia had already left. But Sean's mind was confused now. He ruffled his hair, then glanced at Asya for a while. The girl was still covered, with the oxygen cylinder filling the breathing cavity.

Fortunately, Crish wanted to be responsible for paying all the costs of the accident. Otherwise, it's a big loss for Sean.

Asya's bead slowly lifted. The girl blinked for a moment, as if to neutralize her gaze. She muttered a little when she realized where she was now.

"Eh, you're awake?" asked Sean in a slightly raised voice.

Asya glanced at Sean, slowly. She furrowed her brows. "Why are you here?" asked the girl in a hoarse voice.

Sean folded his arms across his chest. "Why?" Sean repeated Asya's question. "I'm here because of your fault." Sean rolled his eyes, for the umpteenth time the man sighed while showing a frustrated expression.

Asya did not immediately answer. The girl prefers to get up from lying down. She winced slightly when she felt the pain in her body. Maybe a bumping effect. Asya still remembered when she was hit, so she thought she would die right then and there. However, luckily she was still given the chance to live until now.

"My fault?" asked Asya doubtfully. "I ... did what's wrong?" The girl asked again.

Sean looked at Asya sharply. "Why did you have an accident?! Are you careless?! Because of your accident, Crish contacted me, and I was forced to come here, sacrificing my study time! And did you know!? Lathia looked down on me! Moreover, the school uniform you are wearing is from a lowly school! Not comparable to me!" Sean snapped, the man's anger growing even more.

Asya just looked at Sean with a surprised face that didn't fade. Did Asya not hear wrong? Sean scolded him? On what basis did the man scold him? In fact, Asya did not do anything. Never bother or gossip about Sean! When she woke up, Sean should have asked how she was, if he had a heart. But in fact, the man actually snapped at him.

"Are you insulting me? I come from a low school?" Asya snorted, she smiled bitterly. "Wherever I come from, it's none of your business. And it's your own fault for asking me to dance last night. Getting a low stare from Lathia? That's a risk for you. You dare to do it, dare to take risks. So why are you blaming everything on me?! It's all your fault too!" Asya replied in a slightly raised voice, as a form of protest to Sean.

Sean didn't answer. The man just stared at Asya sharply, as sharp as an eagle's gaze. Don't forget the face full of suppressed anger and gritted teeth.

"Besides, what's wrong with you? This morning, you looked normal. Unlike now, the first time I opened my eyes and was immediately met with that piercing gaze, then—" Asya's words were cut off when the girl feeling tightness suddenly assaulted her. Asya held her chest and tried to regulate the tempo of her breath. It's so tight, is this an effect because Asya vents all her frustrations or because of an accident that happened to her? Moreover, as soon as Asya took a breath, her ribs felt sore and sore.

Sean didn't react. Although honestly in his heart Sean was afraid his words would make the girl gasp for air. This made Sean not want to linger there.

"Don't try to make another mistake, I'll be the one to get involved! I don't want that to happen! And remember, don't try to pretend you know me! You don't know anything!" press it. A moment later, Sean turned around, and walked quickly from there slamming the door loudly, not caring that he was in the hospital now.
