Chapter 18 - Worry

"About Lathia...?" Sean asked quietly, at the same time doubtful. The man turned to look at Chris seriously.

Crish fell silent when he saw Sean's interest when he heard that he wanted to pour his heart out about Lathia. "Yeah, I'll tell you when you're done studying," Crish said.

"I'm done," Sean firmly closed the book and turned off his laptop. The man also immediately drank milk from Crish until there was nothing left. He then immediately lay down beside Crish, looking at his brother enthusiastically.

"Go ahead, I'm ready," Sean shouted excitedly.

Crish looked at Sean strangely. Either because Crish hadn't seen his sister in a long time, or because Sean was visibly happy when he said about Lathia. I don't know, Crish's purpose here is not just to share stories with Sean, the man also wants to provoke the man and be honest about what Crish has been thinking all this time.

Didn't answer right away, Crish preferred to fix his lying position and took his cellphone, Crish started playing a simple game and started telling stories. "Just go ahead, I don't want to beat around the bush. Sean, Lathia said she doesn't want to stay in this house any longer," said Crish, his eyes focused on the cellphone screen with his fingers also busy pressing the screen that was playing a game.

Sean was a little surprised. "Don't want to . . . stay here? Why?" asked Sean doubtfully.

Chris sighed. "I don't know. I don't know for sure what Lathia's reason is. Maybe there is something that makes the girl uncomfortable in this house. Or maybe she gave me a code to marry her immediately," replied Crish.

"Marry?!" Sean was surprised again, this time too much to make Crish surprised. However, Crish knew the reason Sean was behaving like that.

"Yes, married. I can't leave Lathia alone out there. You know Lathia doesn't have a family? I always worry about her all the time. There is no other choice, it seems I have to marry her and separate from Mama Papa. Me too I already got a job, Papa gave me a job at our company," said Crish. "But, the wedding preparations will be sudden. Meanwhile, Lathia wants to leave the house from now on." Crish turned to look at Sean seriously. "So Sean, what do you think your brother should be like?" asked Christ.

Sean gasped. No, the man seemed pensive, thinking about Crish's words. In his mind, Sean wondered at the same time felt hot when he knew Crish wanted to marry Lathia. Can't, Sean just wants to fight for his love for Lathia, if Crish comes first than Sean, Sean will feel really frustrated.

Sean was still in school, and he didn't have as much money as Crish in his savings account. If Sean didn't get Lathia soon, then Crish would have succeeded in marrying the girl.

"Ah, geez...." Sean hissed as he ran his hair back.

"What is it?" asked Christ in surprise.

"Who knows." Sean's words turned cold. "I think Sis Crish just needs to persuade Lathia to stay here, and convince her that Sis Crish will keep her promise to get out of this house. At least postpone her wish for a while, maybe it won't burden Lathia. Don't just decide and follow her wishes. woman, later you can be dumped, Sis," said Sean grumbled.

Chris smiled slightly hearing that. "I also want to try to persuade him." Even though in his heart, Crish still racked his brain to lure the man. "Thanks for the advice, Sean. I think you're different, and growing up. I missed your growth. You used to be a very spoiled child to me, but now you're independent, it amazes me." Chris smiled again.

"Yeah, I'm different," Sean replied. The man then stood up from the starting position. "I'm going to the bathroom first. If Sis Crish wants to sleep here, sleep. I'm happy. A large room like this is very scary if you sleep alone," continued Sean. He then disappeared behind the bathroom door.

Christ got up. The man stared at the bathroom door for a long time, pensive and dreamy. Next, he typed something on his cell phone.

Dzzzzzrt! Dzzzzzrt!

The cell phone on the nightstand vibrated. Crish just called Sean's number, the man then approached and grabbed his sister's cell phone. Crish was even more pensive when he realized that the lockscreen of Sean's phone was a photo of Lathia smiling sweetly, the smile that Crish always liked about the girl. He smiled sadly.

"Sean, should I give in? Or should I fight?" mumbled Cris. "Then, who was the girl you danced with last night? That girl named Asyara… were you and her just pretending?"

Early in the morning, the alarm went off. Sean woke up from his sleep. The man blinked several times until he regained consciousness. Sean glanced to the side, he did not find Crish. The pillow next to him was already neatly arranged, it must be because Crish had started working at Alexander's company, so the man had to be disciplined and used to being busy every morning.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Someone knocked on his bedroom door. Sean glanced up. He chuckles. "This morning, who's bothering you, anyway!" groaned Sean annoyed. However, the man was forced to get up from the starting position.

"Just come in, I never lock my room!" shouted Sean lazily. The man then took his cellphone from the nightstand while landing his head on the pillow.

Click!

The door to his room had been opened. The person who knocked on the door must have entered the room. Don't tell me that the person who just walked in was Crish who brought a glass of milk? Like last night? But Sean didn't care.

Knock!

A glass of milk had been kept on the nightstand, right in front of Sean's eyes. Sean paused and looked directly at the glass of milk. He glanced at the person who had entered. The face wearing a mask and hat and a black hoodie made the person very closed, even Sean couldn't see his face.

This made Sean frown. He then rose from a lying position. "Hey, who are you?" Sean asked, looking at someone both odd and annoyed.

Someone didn't answer. He just walked closer to Sean while giving a gift, who knows what's in it. What is clear is that the gift is in the form of a dice. Sean jumped when he received the parcel.

"What is this?" Sean protested. "What is this?" Sean knew he talked a lot. He looks like an idiot now. Because he was surprised and did not understand, because no one dared to come to his room while carrying a gift like this.

The person didn't seem willing to answer Sean's question. He just looked down, and without thinking then walked quickly towards the door to get out of there.

However, before someone who looked short and petite actually came out, Sean grabbed his arm and managed to restrain him. It made the person turn around and hit Sean's body hard enough, that Sean's body backed away and fell onto the bed.
