Mb for not updating as much I didn't make the basketball team so it been hard
"The Tard/Interlza Project has officially been classified as a failure," the researcher said, as the crowd before him booed. They were high ranking officials, most of them were from the military. "The patients were able to imitate some parts of the two species properties, the most we went ability wise was increased injury healing, but this side effects sometimes were creating an unknown foreign black bacteria that quickly spreads throughout the body till the host dies."
"How many? How many of them survived?" someone from the crowd asked
"We found out that success rates increase the younger the patient is, as of now all of the patients above the age of 16 have died, only two have survived and both of them have not even gotten to their teenage years."
"Then how is this a failure? Can't we just you know, put more funding and expermient more into genetically modifiying humans? This is what we accomplished with a couple billions of dollars, imagine if we gave them time and gave proper funding," Admiral of the navy asked.
The researcher wished he could just crawl out of the highly classified building, but it wasn't possible, he knew it would eventually be known to them that the project wasn't a failure because of they couldn't do it in mass to help the army, no, it was because all the researchers have died, and alongside them, so have their notes and papers.
And, the two successful patients have both escaped the facility somehow two days prior to this meeting, it was, without a doubt, the largest governmental failure sense the great world war. Now genetically modified preteenagers are somewhere in society, who knows what they could do.
"See sir, the thing is," the research tried to be as upfront as possible. "All the researchers have died."
"So? Whats a couple reaserch papers? You have to think big junior," one of the hieghest ranking memebers in the military said, in a cheery tone.
"B...but sir, the successful patients, they have escaped the facility two days ago."

The high-rise building in Yangsing was a noticeable emblem of the city, in fact it has become so synonymous, the entire landmark is sometimes nicknamed Red Yangsing.
It was a private building built half a century ago by the great and still active Semyai clan, descendants of great warriors called Urals that have existed for over a thousand years, and it housed many important historic but unknown meetings and agreements. Such was the power of its residence that the entire nation could be upside-down the next day if something was to go wrong.
The clan was prospering in wealth but not power, it has been losing more and more authority ever sense the rise of the pesky Sahil Agrama, the new prime minister of the nation who effectively had full control of the government.
Regardless of this fact, the clan master was able to see the opportunity that nobody else had seen. Power wasn't about huge gains, patience was key. Secret informants in the government had long notified him of the genetically modified human experiment taking place.
And he had long decided to send his own 11 year old son to partake in the experiment as a generous donation.

It seemed funny enough, that the moon itself was codded in crimson black, because the room I stood in was filled with the smell of blood.
Why was the moon this way? How would I know, but it was a rare sight to see, perhaps it was natural, I didn't pay much attention to Earth Science, but considering everything that has happened today, it wasn't just a coincidence.
The world outside was defiantly getting effected, that's why it has been hours sense the initial release of the monsters in the cafeteria and sense all the game-like mechanics have been introduced.
This explained why the police wasn't able to get here yet, if this is happening everywhere then why focus all attention on a bunch of dumb high schoolers.
The cold breeze swept over my face as I turned around.
"How did you know I was here?" Maya asked. "I was using my skill to test it out on you."
"Well if I was you, I wouldn't tell others of what my skills, especially not one so useful," I said, turning back to the window. "The sky is really beautiful if you pay attention, become one with your environment is what my old fencing coach used to say. It's not about trying to doge and attacking, it was so much more then that, it was being able to see your opponents movements while not appearing to." I moved my head, revealing I could see her reflection the entire time.
"You sure are much more smarter then you present yourself."
"In a situation like this, that's the best thing you could do," I explained. "Everybody has secrets, nothing wrong with that, its just some of those secrets are useless and some aren't."
The only way to survive is to think as a individual within a group, surviving in this cold world was never meant to be pretty, if I were to guess, at least one person here is going to do some sort of betrayal that could cost someone's life. Coming to terms with that was better then ignorantly expecting everybody to be worth of my trust.
Jinji was the only person I considered someone I valued, not because of him now systematically being linked back to me, no it was so much more bigger then that. He was now my first friend I have made in a while, and he's too clueless and hands out his trust like donations. If it weren't for me, he defiantly would have been laying in a coffin by now.
"I will take my life now," I said, starting to walk away to the main group, which consisted of people either sleeping or sitting down with shaken faces.
"Wait," Maya said. "What was your role again?"
"Jester."
