Chereads / A Noble Rebel / Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

"Zoey," Jia muttered, "I hope she's nice."

Zoey sounded like she could be a blonde but she might be a bit of a rebel.

Rose and Clary sounded like the names of sweet girls who would like to do nothing but shop and make friends.

Fiona was the name of a princess. She might be Princess Fiona of Callisto. Another royal. Jia knew Fiona was a sweetheart but a bit of ditz, luckily she didn't like society gatherings like Isabella. Now, Kyra sounded like an exotic girl. Maybe she was a red head or she had an exciting hair like herself.

White hair and violet hair in her eyes were exciting features and not abnormal like society dictated. Besides, her mother owned the look when she was alive, so why couldn't she?

She pushed open the single door and entered a room that had French doors leading out to a balcony. There were two beds, two desks, two triple closets, vanity tables and a bookshelf.

"This is amazing," Jia whispered as she snapped her fingers. Her bags instantly fell onto the floor. She went over to the bed and sat down. She smiled lightly and took in the lilac walls surrounding her. She really couldn't wait to decorate. Jia stopped her plans when she heard the door open and what sounded like footsteps. She jumped up and ran out to see two of her roommates coming in with their bags.

"Hi, you must be my roommate's right?"Jia asked. She sauntered up to stand in front of two girls. There was a girl that had short bouncy black hair and she was dressed in white jeans plus a dark blue t-shirt. Her obsidian colored eyes took in the room with awe before they landed on her. The second girl had her titian colored hair up in a ponytail and she had just removed her aviator glasses to reveal her jewel-like emerald color eyes.

"Yeah, why else would we be in this room?" Asked the red head. She stood with a very expensive bag pack hanging off her right shoulder and she was wearing a stylish green sun dress. Looking at her and the way that she was dressed, Jia could tell that she was from a well-off family.

"Of course!" She then blushed, "That was a very stupid question."

"It's okay." The other girl assured her.

Jia stepped forward to introduce herself, "I'm Jia, what's your names?"

The rich girl blanched, "You mean you don't know who I am?"

Jia frowned at her, "No. Should I?"

The other girl snickered at the red head, "I'm guessing you're not from around here huh?"

"Yes, I'm from Azazael," Jia answered with a nod.

"Cool! You're from another kingdom!"

Jia shrugged as the rich girl cleared her throat, "I'm Rose Van Halen."

"Van Halen?"Jia asked before frowning in thought," As in Van Halen Technologies?"

Rose arched one brow, "So you have heard of me?"

"Actually, I know of the company because they keep trying to sell their ships to one of my uncles."Jia corrected her. The obsidian eyed girl chuckled and shook her head.

Rose frowned, "Oh. That's something."

Her other roommate raised her hand, "I'm Kyra, it's nice to meet you."

"Likewise," Jia replied. They look nothing like how she had imagined them to be.

"Are you my roommate?"Kyra asked.

She then snapped her fingers so that luggage set themselves at the corner of one of the couches. Rose simply took out her phone and pressed a few buttons, a few seconds later a long hovercraft came flying in with six different suitcases. They were all red and had the Van Halen logo on them. Jia's eyebrows rose as she took in the amount of luggage Rose had. That was a bit too much for one girl.

She then turned to Kyra who was waiting for her answer, "No, sorry. I'm with Zoey."

"Zoey? "Kyra tested out her name before putting her hands into her pockets, "Is she here already?"

Jia shook her head."No, I thought one of you was her."

Rose glanced up from her phone and gave her a tight smile, "Sorry to disappoint."

"Oh no!" Jia stammered," I didn't mean to imply that you weren't important because you are because we're all roommates and we're one team and-."

Kyra moved to put a hand on Jia's shoulder to stop her, "Chill, girl. I know what you meant."

"Hey, is this room four?"

The girls all turned to the door to see a girl with a helmet in hand. Her long red hair had a bad case of helmet hair and her bright topaz eyes darted around the room with interest. She had a black jacket on and a black tank top inside that read 'Beckett Mechanics' in bold red writing.

Rose crossed her arms over her chest, "Well look who's come to Viola. Fiona Beckett."

Fiona gave her a smirk in her direction."Rose. Still attached to your phone I see."

"How's your bike doing these days?"Rose asked. She quickly threw her phone into her bag pack before watching Fiona turn to bring in two suitcases that were behind her.

"She's fine Rose, thank you for asking," Fiona answered. She then pulled her suitcases all the way up to what Jia assumed was her room door, "Nothing I couldn't solve."

"Do they know each other?" Jia whispered to Kyra.

Kyra nodded and leaned close to whispered to Jia," Darling, all rich kids know each other. Rose and Fiona have been acquaintances since they were in Elementary school. The latest trouble between those two was when Fiona had a race and crashed her bike into Rose's tent during Christmas."

"Interesting," Jia commented.

"I'm Kyra and that's Jia," Kyra pointed at herself and Jia as she made their introductions.

"What's up ladies?"Fiona greeted. She gave them both a smile before she turned to read the notice on her door, "Looks like I'm your roommate for the next five years Rose."

Rose's eyes widened, "What?!" She stormed over to the door and scanned the paper herself, "Are these people crazy?! We can't be roommates!"

"Looks like you can, "Kyra remarked.

Jia snickered as Fiona opened the door and walked in with her stuff, leaving Rose looking very frustrated.

"I guess I should go and unpack as well, "Kyra said as she turned to her room door, "See you in a few Jia."

"Yeah, see you," Jia returned. She was about to go back into her room when a girl walked in with a camera in hand and two suitcase floating behind her," And this is, I guess ,where I will be staying for the next five years."

The girl was dressed in biker shorts and a huge lavender see-through shirt. Luckily, she was wearing a gray tank top inside and she blue hand gloves on .Jia titled her head to the side as the honey blonde girl walked over to stand in front of her, "Hi, you must be one of my roomies. Say' hi' to the camera and say your name and where you're from."

"Hi, I'm Jia and I'm from Azazeal, "Jia said with a wave before the girl nodded and switched off her camera before sticking her hand out for her to shake, "What's your name?"

"I'm Clary Morgan, nice to meet you Jia," Clary answered with an infectious smile,"Are you my roommate?"

Jia shook her head, "No, but I think Kyra is your roommate, she's inside that room," Jia pointed at the door Kyra went through.

"Okay, thanks."

Clary then gave her a quick hug before she turned her camera back on and headed for her room with her suitcases following behind her. Jia smiled to herself. Looks like she just might get along with Clary.

Jia moved to her room and began to unpack her stuff. First she took out her bed covers and dealt with them before she tackled her closet. All the clothes were newly bought by her aunt Iris and Jasmine. She wanted only normal non-miss teenage clothes in her school wardrobe and nothing fancy. It took her an entire hour but she was finally done and began arranging her study table.

She was in the middle of putting her new books on her table when she heard a knock on her door. She turned to see a girl with three suitcases standing by the entrance of her room. The girl tucked a stray of her coffee brown hair behind her left ear before she bit her bottom lip. She was dressed in a blue blouse, blue skirt and white sneakers.

Jia smiled, "You must be Zoey?"

"Yes, I'm Zoey," Zoey answered before she blushed bright red, "And you already knew that because you said my name out loud."

Jia chuckled, "I'm Jia."

Zoey stepped into the room, "H-hi."
