There's no time to look back and reflect on the decision leading up to this point. Some people will feel indifferent to choices.
It's a very cold, snowy night.
Yuki marched through the thick and heavy snowstorm to the promised location. There was a short exchange in the middle of nowhere. Only being surrounded by trees and vast green land that is now covered with inches of snow.
"This will make you more powerful and successful in defeating the witches." He convinced her with lousy words to place her under his command. The shard color intensified and penetrated through her skin instead of tainting her soul and turning black it remains purple and pure.
His attempts to brainwash her failed terribly. It frustrated him that he had absolutely no control over her.
"A village southwest of here and lies in the temple is a witch a hidden identity of a monk." He explained and instructed details of how to enter the village.
She could not bare of thought of taking another person's life for her own selfish reasons.
"She killed thousands of men, women, and children."
The doubt Yuki once had slightly vanished, but it still did linger in her mind. However, just not as much.
"You will serve me well and for your reward, you shall not suffer when I kill you." He smirked and thought to himself.

At the night, the weather worsens. It took several days and nights to arrive at the village. She was shivering and her hands were so cold that they went numb. She could barely feel comfortable in her own skin and was afraid of passing out.
"Oh my—You poor thing." A young lady spotted Yuki just a few feet outside the village and then rushed to her aid.
When Yuki opened her eyes, she was underneath a hot fireplace with plenty of sheets. She was fed warm porridge and it remained her of being at home in Japan.
The woman was kind and looked like she was in her mid-twenties with decent clothing on and her hair tied up in a bun.
Yuki looked around and studied the room. It's the size of three small villagers' homes and decorates nicely. She watched the physicians walk out of the room and whispered to the lady. It was hard to make out what the conversation was about.
Yuki lay there and allowed her body to recover with the home remedies.
'The plan was to sneak into the temple at night and slaughter the monk but instead, I have been taken in and cared for by such a wonderful woman. I need to figure out a way to escape here and get to the temple.' She thought to herself and was interrupted by the lady speaking in a gentle voice.
"Excuse me miss. Are you all ready? You shouldn't be wondering in this area there are dangerous monsters in these parts. It's a good thing that I found you in time, but it seems that you and in the baby are in great condition."
" B-baby?" Yuki mumbled in denial then slightly laugh thinking that this woman was nuts." You must be mistaken because there's no way!"
The woman apologized. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll talk to the physician again and see if there's a misdiagnosis. From your reaction, you mustn't sleep with a guy before. I don't mean to pry.—Anyways, my name is Freya, and yours?"
Yuki frozen and remember the few encounters that she had with the full-fledge dog demon and sulked.

Through the crystal ball, Naraku saw that Yuki was distorted.
"She's lying to you! Kill her! She must be the witch."
Yuki heard a sinister voice from the jewel shard that pulsed in her veins. She looked up at the lady who changed her clothes to the standard monk uniform.
"Are you a witch?" Yuki questioned and clenched the sheets hoping that it wasn't true. She didn't want to believe a person this nice would be evil.
Freya paused her footsteps and looked at Yuki puzzled," How do you know?" She questioned.
That confirmed any suspicion that she once had. She quickly picked up her sword and held it to Freya's neck." You murderer! You killed so many innocents' lives." It angered her and the shard slowly began to darken.
"That's no true! I don't know who saying this nonsense." Freya said.
"You liar--All you witches do is lie!" Yuki screamed and pierced her sword into the flesh.

There has been a terrible rumor traveling through the lands.
"Have you heard? Another monk fell victim."
"To what, a demon?"
"Who knows."
InuYasha and the others couldn't help but hear the conversation between two villagers.
" Do you sense the jewels anywhere Kagome?" Shippo questioned.
She shook her head," No, but I worried about Yuki I hope that she's still alive and well."
"Do you think it's Naraku doing? Do you think he brainwashed her? Like he did your brother Kohaku." Miroku mentioned.
" I will never let him get away with it," Sango answered, and balled up her fist.
" InuYasha, you're awfully quiet. What's wrong? This is unlike you." Shippo noticed and jumped on his shoulder.
" Shuddup!" InuYasha punched Shippo on the head and knocked him down to the floor. He was worried and had a really bad feeling.

She considered herself a vigilante and was convinced that she was taking out the source of evil from this world. It didn't make her feel good killing people, and the guilt continue to consume her. Naraku was in her ear and watching her every movement. Not allowing room for betrayal.
'The witches have a barrier that prevents me nor my detachments."
Somewhere In a temple.
Blood dripped from Yuki's sword as she hovered over the body.
"Please don't… I have kids… You understand, don't you? What if someone harms your unborn kid inside you"
Whenever she visits a village the physician will always confirm it.
"Shut up! I'm not pregnant and if you say it again, I will kill you!"
"You are being deceived…"
Yuki dropped her sword and fell to her knees. She didn't want to believe that she was carrying a demon child so badly.
"Tell me that it's not true! I desperately need it to not be true."
She fled from the scene as she heard footsteps approaching nearby but she made two mistakes that night. One was keeping the witch alive and the second. She left her sword there that Sango gave her.
