Then Lucian came forward and held my hand --

*Lucian holding hand* I can tell you a little thing about me till then you hold onto this.
Lucian smiled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "I'm someone who's been watching over you for a long time Lucian. I'm a member of a secret organization, one that's been protecting you from the shadows."
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What organization? And who is that person why they want to hurt me i didn't even do anything to anyone."
Lucian hesitated, glancing at Ezekiel before responding. "Let's just say it's a group of individuals who share a common goal: to keep you safe from those who would misuse your powers. And as for the danger that is not important right now wait till your bday."
I frowned, sensing there was more to the story. "And what's your role in this organization?"
Lucian's smile grew wider. "I'm a bit of a rogue, even among my own kind. I like to think of myself as a free agent, working towards the greater good."
Ezekiel snorted, rolling his eyes. "That's one way to put it, Lucian. You're a loose cannon, always doing things your own way."
Lucian chuckled, unfazed. "Hey, it's worked so far, hasn't it?"
I laughed, feeling a sense of ease with these three men that I couldn't explain. "I suppose it has. But I still have so many questions..."
Fenris, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. "We'll answer them, Esmeray. But first, let's get some food in you. You're starting to look a little pale."
I nodded, realizing I was famished. As we sat down to eat, I couldn't help but wonder what other secrets these men were hiding.
As we ate, I peppered them with questions. "So, Lucian, what's your story? How did you end up in this organization?"
Lucian leaned back in his chair, a faraway look in his eyes. "I've been with them for a long time, Snowcup. I was recruited when I was just a teenager. They saw something in me, a potential that I didn't even know I had."
Fenris snorted. "Yeah, and they exploited it, as usual."
Lucian shot him a warning glance. "Hey, it's not like that. They taught me how to control my powers, how to use them for good afternoon that we become good friends and the rest is here I joined the Band too"
I frowned, sensing a deeper tension between them. "Wait what powers..?? How come I didn't know about this"
Lucian hesitated, glancing at Ezekiel before responding. "I have the ability to manipulate shadows. I can move through them, create illusions... it's come in handy more times than I can count."
I stared, amazed. "That's incredible."
Ezekiel smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Yeah, Lucian's a bit of a ninja. Always sneaking around, getting the drop on people."
Lucian chuckled, shaking his head. "Hey, someone's got to keep you two in line."
As we finished our meal they decide that I should spent the night here so they can watch they I am perfectly okay so they all take the couch while living me on Zeke king size bed, I felt a sense of camaraderie with these three men. They were all so different, yet they shared a common bond - a desire to protect me, to keep me safe from those who would harm me.
But before we go to sleep we sat at the floor laughing and joking, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to their story. More secrets, more lies... and I was determined to uncover them all.
As the night wore on, I found myself feeling more and more at ease with these three men. They were all so different, yet they shared a common bond - a desire to protect me, to keep me safe from those who would harm me.
But as I looked at Lucian, I couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity. There was something about him that didn't quite add up, something that he was hiding.
"Lucian," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Can I ask you something?"
He looked at me, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Of course, Snowcup. What is it?"
I hesitated, unsure of how to phrase my question. "It's just why you are calling me Snowcup and not only that. You seem to know so much about me. More than Fenris and Ezekiel do. How is that?"
Lucian's expression changed, his eyes flashing with a hint of warning. "I've just done my research, that's all, and it's just that you love snow that's why I called you Snowcup" he said, his voice a little too casual.
But I wasn't buying it. I knew there was more to it than that. How did he know i love snow anyway it's not important right now.
"Lucian," I said, my voice firm. "Tell me the truth. How do you know so much about me?"
He sighed, rubbing his temples. "Fine," he said. "I'll tell you. But you have to promise not to freak out, okay?"
I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest.
Lucian took a deep breath. "I've been watching you for a long time Snowcup. Longer than you can imagine. And I've been waiting for the perfect moment to reveal myself to you."
My eyes widened in shock. "Waiting for what?"
Lucian's eyes locked onto mine, his gaze burning with intensity. "Waiting for you to remember who you really are.?"
I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
Lucian leaned forward, his eyes never leaving mine. "You're not who you think you are, Snowcup. You're not just a ordinary girl with powers. You're so much more than that. The white light it's connected to you "
I shook my head, trying to process what he was saying. "What are you talking about? And how do you know about my white light.?"
Lucian took a deep breath. "I think guys we should tell her about the truth without waiting for her bday. Because there is so much at risk. So here is the story you're a descendant of an ancient bloodline, one that holds the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe. And there are those who will stop at nothing to claim that power for themselves and about your white light that also connected with your blood lines."
I felt like my world was spinning out of control. "What? That's impossible."
Lucian's expression was grim. "I'm afraid it's not. And that's why we've been protecting you, Snowcup. To keep you safe from those who would misuse your powers."
I thought back to all the strange occurrences in my life, the feeling of being watched, the unexplained events. It all made sense now.
But one question still remained. "Who am I, really?"
Lucian's eyes seemed to bore into my soul. "That's a question only you can answer, Snowcup. But know this - you are so much more than you ever imagined."
I felt like my mind was racing with a million questions. Who was I, really? What did Lucian mean by an ancient bloodline? And what secrets of the universe was he talking about?
But before I could ask any of those questions, Fenris spoke up. "Esme, we need to get you out of here. Now."
I looked around, realizing that we were still in the abandoned warehouse. "Why? What's going on?"
Ezekiel's expression was grim. "We've been compromised. The Order knows where we are."
Lucian nodded. "We need to get you to a safe house, somewhere they can't find you."
I nodded, still trying to process everything. As we made our way out of the Zeke dorm room which have a secret passage, I couldn't shake the feeling that my life was about to change forever.
We moved quickly and quietly through the streets, avoiding detection. Finally, we arrived at a small, unassuming house on the outskirts of town.
Lucian opened the door, gesturing for me to enter. "You'll be safe here," he said.
I nodded, still feeling a sense of unease. As I entered the house, I saw that it was small, but cozy. There was a fire burning in the fireplace, and a small kitchenette in the corner.
Fenris and Ezekiel followed me in, their eyes scanning the room for any signs of danger. Lucian stayed outside, keeping watch.
I looked around, trying to take it all in. Who was I, really? And what lay ahead?
As I settled into the safe house, I couldn't shake the feeling that my life was spiraling out of control. I had so many questions, but no answers.
Fenris and Ezekiel seemed to sense my unease, and they stayed close, trying to reassure me. But even their presence couldn't calm the storm brewing inside me.
Just as I was starting to feel like I might lose my mind, Lucian burst into the room. "We have a problem," he said, his face grim.
"What is it?" Fenris asked, instantly on alert.
"The Order has found us," Lucian replied. "They're closing in on our location."
Ezekiel cursed under his breath. "We need to get Esme out of here, now."
But I stood up, my heart pounding in my chest. "No," I said. "I'm not running anymore. I want to face them."
Fenris and Ezekiel exchanged a worried glance, but Lucian just nodded. "Then let's do it," he said. "Let's face them head-on."
Together, the four of us prepared to face whatever lay ahead. We knew it wouldn't be easy, but we were ready. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was taking control of my destiny.
As we stood there, ready to face the unknown, I realized that I had finally found my true purpose. I was no longer just a girl with powers - I was a warrior, ready to fight for my future.
