Chapter 25 - Only A Temporary Fix

As much as taking Raine's advice may have helped Kyrie, a few more days passed with Kyrie continuing to hold her silence. Her timid nature combined with her crushing guilt just made it impossible to actually gather up the courage to bring it up on her own.

She was wound quite tightly, so when arms wrapped around Kyrie's slender body from behind while she was out getting water, she tensed up with fear as she let out a soft yelp. Was this Renard again? This time she would not allow him to take advantage of her, she couldn't! The person behind her did not register this fear response though, and instead was lifting her up to spin her around. Upon hearing the voice that accompanied this action, the fear faded considerably.

"Kyrie! It feels like I haven't seen you in so long!"

The warm laughter of Isaac's caused Kyrie's body to relax, and she even found herself smiling as her feet touched the ground once more. Ever since that night with Renard her interactions with Isaac were always spiced with a healthy dose of guilt, but at the same time losing herself in his arms still brought her immense comfort. He loved her so deeply, and it showed with every interaction that he had with her and she adored that affection. A part of her felt like she didn't deserve this feeling of well-being, not after what she'd done, but Kyrie had always been the type to hide rather than facing her problems head on.

Kyrie's negative thoughts got pushed away as Isaac leaned down to lavish her cheek with soft kisses, and she couldn't help giggling as she reached up to lightly touch his cheek.

"It's only been one night!"

"You say it as if you didn't miss me for that time!"

"But I did miss you... I missed you a lot..."

And she had. It had been her turn to sleep in the female slaves' quarters last night and any time she was alone now her thoughts always turned to Renard. She absolutely hated it: she didn't want to have to keep thinking about the catalyst for her betrayal against her friend and her lover! She wanted Isaac with her at all times, to help drown out that one night that she had spent with his friend. As a result she was beginning to feel a desperate urge to be even closer to Isaac than she was: her brain tended to shut down when she was laying with Isaac, especially so if they were doing anything particularly intimate.

In an effort to try and satisfy this craving, she squirmed in his arms until he got the message that she wanted to turn around. Loosening his grip on her, Kyrie quickly turned, gazed up at him with a heated look in her eyes that caused his heart to stop in its tracks, then she stood up on her toes to wrap her arms around his neck in a tight hug. Noticing how stretched and uncomfortable she looked from this action, he lifted her up so that his arms were acting like a makeshift chair for her legs. Her face had been hiding against him when she'd been hugging him from the ground, but now she was looking down at him from a newfound height. Kyrie promptly blushed to see the affection with which he was looking up at her and to be effectively put on display like this. Once again feeling that shame, Kyrie moved her arms from his shoulders to wrap around him and let her head rest against his neck. It felt better to hide than face that pure and untainted love that he had for her.

It was remarkable how easy of a time Isaac had in holding her up; she wasn't a big woman, by any stretch of the word, but she wasn't exactly petite either. Still, Isaac was able to shift her about with relative ease, and he did so by moving her legs so that they were on either side of his torso. This may be a little more embarrassing for Kyrie, but it was much easier to hold her like this so long as she wanted to hug him like she was.

"Hey, don't hide if we both agree that we missed each other!"

Letting out a soft chuckle at that, Isaac softly brushed his lips against her hair until she pulled away enough that he could get a full view of her face. She was still looking down though, shy as ever. Or at least, that's what it looked like to Isaac, for Kyrie it was that she felt too bad when she looked him in the eye; she also feared that if she looked him in the eye for too long then he'd somehow be able to discern what she'd done. Kyrie had never prided herself on being a good liar, though to be fair, this was her first time trying to lie for something so big.

"There's that beautiful face I love."

As Isaac leaned in towards her, she clenched her eyes shut; it helped to block out whatever scrutiny she imagined him doing on her, but here it was also a perfectly appropriate response to a kiss. Once Isaac's lips connected with her own, she was able to bask in the glow that affection with Isaac always gave her; it was a warm and comforting feeling, one that Kyrie would never get enough of. She really was perfectly happy with Isaac's attention, but if that was the case, then why had she let Renard in so easily? Sure he'd caught her when she was vulnerable, but that was no excuse for not pushing him away!

Scrunching her features up a little from this line of thought, she deepened her kiss with Isaac, hoping that something with him would be able to wipe away her thoughts and remind her that she was indeed happy when she was in Isaac's arms. This action of hers earned a hum of approval from Isaac, and Kyrie mirrored it with a soft sound of her own.

When their lips parted so that the two of them had a chance to catch their breath, Isaac paused for a moment, pressing his forehead up against hers and breathing softly on her face.

"Kyrie... Keep this up and I don't think I'll be able to wait until tonight."

At these words, her body flared with desire. It was a feeling that both delighted and horrified her; when she imagined Isaac pushing her up against a wall and pounding into her that could only be described as the kind of sexual act she'd expect from Renard. Was she trying to turn Isaac into Renard? Was the idea of Isaac acting so forward what was inherently appealing to her, or was it the idea that Isaac was offering to do something more like Renard? Perhaps more aggressive sex in general was what she wanted? Or maybe just different sex? Her face flushed brightly from these thoughts.

Was she a sexual deviant?

Thinking that his words were finally sinking in, Isaac let out a chuckle and brushed his permanent stubble against her cheek. Even though it was meant to be a light affection, the teasingly scratching sensation sent a shiver up her spine and now she wanted him more than ever. What was wrong with her?! Sure she'd always looked forward to her encounters with Isaac before, but now it felt like it would be unbearable having to wait until the evening. Had Renard awoken some strange latent lust that had lain sleeping inside of her? She didn't know, but what she did know was that she wanted Isaac, and she wanted Isaac bad.

With trembling fingers, she rested her hands on both of his cheeks. His gaze was fixed on her as she did this, and she could feel his excitement pressing up against her as she showed this rare initiative. In all the time that he and Kyrie spent together, she didn't often initiate these intimate moments between them: she seemed to prefer it when he was the one taking the lead. This meant that it was always a real treat whenever she was the one starting their lovemaking. Also, it was strangely comforting when she did, because it told him that it really wasn't just him that loved her so much, she also loved him enough to seek out the comfort of his body. And so here they were in one of those rare instances where a blush lit up her face as she shyly moved her lips towards his. This time when their lips met, it was like a medley going off in his head as Isaac tightened his hold on his lover.

What was she doing? She was about to have sex with Isaac outside against a wall of the manor! She'd never even dreamed of doing this before, especially not in broad daylight like they were about to do now! Usually there would be the constant worry of others coming across them, but now that worry was dulled to the point that it just didn't matter anymore. All that mattered was Isaac.

He ground his hips into hers and Kyrie broke their kiss to let out a low moan. Somehow this whole scenario was just so much more arousing than usual; both Kyrie's pleasured expressions and her body's reactionary movements were driving him up the wall. This was so uncharacteristic too, for her to want him in such a public environment, but that just made it all the more exciting: she wanted him so badly that she didn't mind if other people saw.

Unable to hold himself back anymore, he moved the two of them away from the water pump and also away from the doorway into the manor. In the end, he ended up nestling her up against a wall behind a bush that hid them from sight of any entrances to the manor. That should do well enough to keeping them hidden, though in all honesty, it was unlikely that anyone would come out to this section of the garden at this exact time anyway. Renard was currently working on a section of the yard on the other side of the house (at least that's what he'd told Isaac), Vivian was busy inside the house taking care of Raine and Mae, and Dessi was in the kitchen as usual. There wasn't a whole lot that would take any of them out here. In fact, it was a rarity for Kyrie herself to be outside. Still, having a bit of cover gave the both of them some peace of mind.

The time she spent with Isaac against that wall went by in a rush of frenzied passion and Kyrie was in absolute bliss for every second of it. Not only was she not thinking about Renard, but she also felt so fucking good. A latent part of her was comforted by the fact that she felt just as good having sex with Isaac as she did having sex with Renard, but mostly all she was thinking about was the pleasure that Isaac was lavishing her body with.

By the time it was all over, the expression on Kyrie's face got Isaac to let out a rather bestial growl as he held her tight.

"Don't make such a sexy face, Kyrie. You'll make me want to slack off even more."

These words of his just made her heart pound all the more as she also held him tight, clenching her eyes shut as she tried to resist her body's desires. She wanted more of this instinctual and hard sex, yet nothing seemed to be able to satisfy her... Just what in the world was wrong with her?! She'd never had these problems before…

Isaac kissed at her neck and she held herself back from letting out another moan. She was ashamed by these desires of hers, and she also knew just as he did that they needed to be heading back to work.

"I love you, Kyrie."

His breath was hot against her neck, and she trembled as she opened her mouth to respond. She wanted to respond immediately, but at the same time she felt like if she did then he'd be able to read the desire for more in her expression and tone. In the end, she turned to kiss the side of his head and spoke only when she was sure that her voice wouldn't tremble.

"I love you too, Isaac."

She knew these words were true: she couldn't imagine her life without Isaac, he was such an important piece that she legitimately enjoyed spending time with. She got pleasure from both his body and his mind and she couldn't imagine it being any other way. Yet… Yet that pang of guilt stabbed into her heart when thoughts of what she'd done filtered in again.

As she clung tight to Isaac, she just knew that there was something wrong with her. Not only was she not sure entirely sure what it was, she also didn't know how she was going to fix it.
