Lucas would simply keep that thought, right now he had other things to deal with.
Lily slowly started to open her eyes. She was sweating profusely, as if she just had a very bad nightmare, and from the look on her face Lucas was sure of it.
Lily was one strong being, and whatever was able to unsettle her mind would have to be very serious.
Lucas thought back to how she almost transformed in front of everyone, if that had happened, they would have lost all their chances of becoming stronger.
[Would you like to evolve?]
Lucas walked out of the room, his eyes were fixed on the words before his eyes. If he evolved what would be the benefits?
[Yes/No]
"Yes." Lucas muttered. He had gotten a fair distance away from the room, and was now at the center of the guild halls.
[Evolve into...]
[Divine Disciple:
Direct descendants of the Dark. They are strong willed and impossible to defeat. They specialise in versatility, able to deal magical and physical attacks.]
[Demonic Hunter:
Powerful berserker with demon genes. Able to take powerful blows and deal heavy damage. The ultimate weapon for demon hunting.]
[Immortal Avenger:
Ancient avengers of the dead. Specialises in death magic. Very powerful against life based creatures.]
Lucas walked out of the guild halls, and was heading to a secluded area at the back, his eyes glowed as he read the words.
Lucas smiled broadly. Even if he picked one at random, non of the skills were useless to him at all.
"The demonic hunter would be best for me now, not only will it help me grow faster, but it solves one of my major problems." Lucas muttered to himself. If he had a high amount of life force, not only would he be able to take powerful strikes, but he might have a chance of finishing the enemy quickly.
He was now in a area devoid of living creatures, the entire place was extremely quiet, and not even an ant was spotted.
"Demonic Hunter."
[Demonic Hunter evolution process...]
[The process is extremely painful, and it might alter your appearance, are you sure you still want to proceed?]
Lucas clenched his fists. Alter his appearance eh? He will handle whatever changes his body would go through, and no pain could be compared to a near death experience.
"Yes."
[Evolution Begins!]
[Good luck.]
Lucas waited. His body felt numb for a couple of seconds, then, his skin started to itch, his heart thumped faster, his vision blurred.
The pain came, it was so strong that the great disciple of the strongest god fell to his knees, trembling in pain as he lowered his eyes to the ground.
The feeling in his body was strange, it was as if all his bones were being broken, his skin contracting, cells in his body were being killed.
It was a painful process. He clawed at the earth, trying to redirect his mind from the shooting pain all over his body.
The pain stopped, only a second, but was enough to let Lucas sigh in relief, only to be met by a worse pain.
Blood ran down Lucas's lip, although he was blessed with a system, he was still human. The pain grew, his joints bucked and he was lying flat on the ground.
Lucas roared, it wasn't human, it was beast-like. His bones were being placed back, new cells were manufactured in his body, his skin hardened.
He groaned, his mind was a blur, until all he could see was black.
----
Lily saw Lucas walk out of the room out of the corner of her eyes. She pretended to be asleep long enough for her to see Lucas shut the door behind him.
"What the?" Lily said. She clutched the bedsheets tightly, her eyes were dilating as she recalled what she saw in her dreams.
Blood was everywhere, dead bodies lay on the earth, buildings were completely destroyed, demons were casually trooping into the city.
A group of people were busy fighting off the demons, they were are clothed in red, and were badly injured from the battle.
Leading the demons was a man who looked exactly like Lucas, with his thick bat-like wings and large demonic horns, he was ruled out as human.
He held a purple sword in his hands, and was fighting against the red clothed warriors.
Kage ran towards Lucas, black flames gathering around his arm, energy building up within his soul as he locked eyes with Lucas who had unleashed his strange purple energy.
The duo collided, their energies reacted against each other, the demons scrabbling to safety, the warriors activating their defence abilities.
"Kage, run! Everyone would die!" Lily screamed at the top of her lungs, tears rolled down her cheeks.
The energies grew and so did the reactions, and with a resonating boom and a flash of light, the entire world fell into oblivion.
Lily screamed as she watched everyone she loved die, burnt to a crisp, the huge blast took the realm of gods.
The horde just strode into earth. Lily screamed, kicking and letting out steam through short outbursts.
Everything went down, the plane was destroyed and the universe was invaded by Darkzer.
Lily's claws had tore through the bedsheets and had dug into her tough palm.
She had saw a vision of the future. It was getting closer, and closer.
Soon, the day would come, and on that day the world would be wiped out of existence.
