Lucas had caught up to Lily, his hands had completely healed now, and his energy flow had stabilized.
Lily threw a glance in Lucas's direction, her green eyes glowed brightly as she locked eyes with him.
CRASH!
Lucas drew out his Darksteel, the blade was lit up in a purple light as he sent his energy into it.
He got into a fighting stance, his eyes were constantly darting from side to side in search of the enemy.
Something dashed out of the darkness, it was too dark for Lucas to make out what it is.
It slowly got closer to them, growling as it moved, waiting for a chance to attack.

Lucas frowned as he read the words before his eyes in his mind, if what the system was telling him was true, then, he is dealing with a shadow twister.
The ability of a demon is it's strength, while the direct opposite ability is it's bane, and since he was dealing with a shadow based demon, it's bade would be light.
Lucas frowned, to fight a shadow demon is extremely annoying, though the guild would pay you a handsome reward for killing one, the risks were too high.
The old Lucas would have been cowering in fear at the sight of one, but this Lucas would take the demon head on.
Lily had gotten inpatient, she started swinging her claws around in a furry, letting out grunts of frustration as none of her attacks even hit.
"What if..." Lucas mumbled as he tries to use his inspect skill on Lily.

Lily turned to look at Lucas, and the look on her face told him everything he needed to know.
She had blocked his skill. If she already had such monstrous power, why did she need to get stronger?
The idea of Lily being a frail weak child in her world made a cold shiver lick up Lucas's spine.
If the kids were this powerful, then, if they grew up how powerful would they become?
He would reserve all these questions for a later date, one day when he is stronger enough to meet one.
"Beginner's Luck!" Lucas yelled without thinking, and immediately he said those words something appeared before his eyes.

Lucas felt a new found strength rise within him, power builds up in his sword, a darky aura surrounded him at he flashed a grin at Lily.
Lily subconsciously jumped back, something was moving in the darkness, too fast for Lily to follow.
Lucas dashed into the darkness, waiting for the perfect moment, the moments of the twister were random, but Lucas created a pattern in his mind.
"Left, right, right, dash forward... Strike!" Lucas swung his blade at the front, but it made contact with nothingness.
Lily was about to leap in joy, but as she waited, the sounds of a beast roaring in agony never came, she looked like someone who all her dreams were dashed.
Lucas frowned deeply, it seems that the enemy had saw through his attack, he closed his eyes listening, plotting.
"Left, right, right, dash forward... Strike!" Lucas had a secret plan, and he was fervently praying to whatever god out there for it to work.
The shadow twisters leapt to the side, attempting to go for a sneak attack, but before it could react it was staring at the roof of the room.
Lucas had countered the enemy's strike with a leg sweep so quick and powerful, it wouldn't be able to evade.
The twister jumped back up, then, it ran at Lucas with fury, if wanted to end this human once and for all.
Lucas just took a step, and he had appeared on the other side of the room in a blink.
"You are powerless against me!" Lucas yelled with his eyes fixated upon the shadow twister.
He was bluffing, he couldn't keep this up for more than two minutes, the clock was ticking in his head.
Lucas closed his eyes, he felt the energy building up within him, his entire body felt like it was on fire.
Unknown to him, a purple mist had snaked up his leg, warping around his feet to his thigh.
Lucas fell to his knees, the mist in the shape of a winged serpent had coiled around him, his body felt numb, his mind went blank.

Lucas opened his eyes, they were completely purple, the darkness pouring out of his gaze.

Lucas stood slowly, his sword was now attached to his arm by his new layer of purple skin.
The shadow twister began to take steps back, it's instincts screaming at it to run, escape from this being.
Lucas kept walking forward, pushing the twister back until the latter couldn't step back again, Lucas reached out his purple arm.
A straight beam of purple light was fired at the shadow twister, on impact the twister was knocked back, crashing into the wall.
Lucas swung his sword down, released a straight line of purple energy which cut through the shadow twister.

Lucas turned to Lily, his eyes were devoid of human emotion, his face was plain, the sword glowed brightly.
[Fusion end!]
The sword started to detach from his hand, and all the purple snake shaped mist crawled back into Darksteel.
Lucas was taken aback by the numerous shocking words before his eyes.
"It seems like when I focused every bit later my energy into the sword, it completely fused with me." Lucas read the text below, and a smile appeared on his face, growing bigger and bigger the more he continued to read.
Lucas thought about himself, his home menu to be exact and the words popped up before him.

Some of the words were either greyed out or hard to make out so Lucas just ignored them.
He was getting stronger and he could feel it, the power coursing through his veins, the energy that could erupt any moment now.
Lily ran further into the boss room, and Lucas immediately followed, his hands itched round his sword as he followed Lily.
Lucas could feel the evil aura around, them, getting thicker and wilder as they moved further into it.
Beast roars were heard around them, multiple words appeared before Lucas, but one sentence shocked him.

And them various twisters walked out of the darkness, all having different abilities, and were still insanely strong despite the fact that they do not train.
Amongst them one stood out the most, he had a pair of horns on it's head, the darkness around him seemed to move at it's will.
"T-Twister K-King!" Lily stammered thinking hard on how to get out of here alive.
While Lily was busy racking her brain, Lucas was looking at the King of twisters as if he was a pile of gold.
Twister Kings were known for their insane amount of mana, their total control of their elements and the ability to contain two abilities.
Unlike Lucas who already has three abilities and is still counting, normal human being could only contain the partial power of a single ability.
An awakened twister king would cost over five hundred thousand C-points.
After the third war with demons and the rising of the fallen gods, a new currency was introduced.
C-points could be earned by honourable acts, selling cores, or could be exchanged.
The value for the normal currency had died, and not many people still make use of it.
Lucas's eyes had turned to gold the moment he calculated how much money he could get from selling all beast cores.
"About a million C-points!" Lucas's jaw dropped to the floor.
His greed got the better of him, instead of devising a plan to run, his legs had started moving on it's own.
