Chapter 22 - Taron 22

Miss Freshi was still busy with herself, Algo and I had to stand for a few minutes waiting for her. But she never made a sound or looked at us. I'm getting bored and my chest is tight in this room.

Stuffy, dark, no air gets into it. The large window directly behind Miss Freshi was left tightly closed with curtains which were rotten and the colors had faded. What kind of woman is she? I thought.

I still kept looking at him without blinking. I don't know what he was doing, busy with files on his desk, scattered. Algo is still standing looking at my face with a smile, I smile even though it's annoying. My feet are starting to feel hot, I can't wait to shake them, but Algo seems to know what I'm going to do, his eyes are glaring at me and it's like he's saying what are you doing?

I scratched the back of my head grinning. Miss Freshi finally found what she had been looking for, a white folder with a red mark on the top right. I don't know what sign it was, I didn't see it very clearly.

Miss Freshi opened it, and her eyes carefully read the sentences by occasionally looking at me while lifting her thick glasses. She took the black pen beside her, she began to write and it seemed she was also scribbling on the white paper in front of him. And signing it, she straightened the papers and closed the white folder then lifted her face.

"Miss ..."

"Flanella." I said.

"Flanella ...."

"Adesya."

"Flanella Adesya." She repeated. Then she nodded and still continued to say my name and wrote it in the white ledger she took in his desk drawer. And strangely the book looks very strange, the color still looks good and looks brand new.

Even though what I see in this room is not a single item that looks like it's still well-maintained, everything is like worn-out junk and stings the nose. However, this book is different. Never mind, I don't want to care now. I just want him to say okay and I want to get out of this room quickly before the contents in my stomach pollute this room because I've been sick for a long time.

"Okay, you can leave this room. Miss Flanella."

"Yes." I said.

She raised her glasses and said, "Welcome to Green Fales." Without the slightest expression. I just grin.

"Thanks Miss." And I quickly turned my body out.

"Algo ..." she called again.

"There's something I want to talk to you about, do you have a minute?"

Algo nodded.

I was already out of the room, but I also had to wait for Algo who was still talking to Miss Freshi, I don't know what else they were talking about.

I stood up while shaking my right leg. And I saw a girl my age walking looking at me with a strange look. In his right hand she carried a white handkerchief with a floral print. Her face is beautiful with an oval shape and thin cheeks, brown eyes and thick eyebrows. Her white hair was tied back, only a few strands of hair fell in front of her forehead.

I looked at her and smiled at her. But he didn't even smile back at me, she walked away as if he didn't care about me. I pulled my lips and tossed my short hair which was actually just an accent to get rid of my annoyance.

Algo didn't come out of the room, I couldn't wait anymore. There's no way I'd go alone without him. Because he said he was in the same class as me and I myself did not understand the location here. Several alleys to my right. And I ... I didn't expect my new school to be like this. If only there was another choice, other than this place I would say with dad, transfer me to another school dad.

Finally, Algo came out from inside the room with his sweet smile. I smiled too, you know you shouldn't be like that because if you do that... hug!! My chest feels tight because of your smile. Algo always carried an aura of happiness when he saw his face and I was one of the girls who was captivated by his smile the first time I saw him.

Hiss ...

"Hey, are you daydreaming about Flanella?"

"Ehhhh …. I-I … I … I …" I stuttered and my face burned when suddenly Algo startled me, I'm sure he must have known I was staring at him for a while. And right now he was enjoying my red cheeks like boiled shrimp. I scratched my hair while grinning.

"Never mind, I know what you're thinking." Algo ruffled my short hair and I blushed even more. I followed Algo who had walked first. I followed his wide feet. And he stopped, I stopped too. I do not know what he noticed when he was in front of a room still tightly closed and pitch black. Algo glanced at the room to his right. I watched his face for a long time. Expressionless.

Algo walked again, we walked down a long hallway. It's lonely, well ... My new school is not like my old school. Almost no sound, they seem serious following the lesson. Several teachers looked up and looked at us, especially me. Every class I went through all looked the same.

I lowered my body to greet them and smiled, but no one returned my smile, instead strange faces with wrinkles on their foreheads that I always saw. I bit my lower lip and still tailed behind Algo.

Algo walked very fast, or maybe it was because of the influence of his long legs that his footsteps were also wide. I scrambled to balance it out.

And then ....

BUCK!

I bumped into his body when I unknowingly stopped in front of me.

"Forgive me!" I lowered my head and apologized many times. He just smiled.

"What do you think of Miss Fla?" said Algo.

Again He with his index finger touched my forehead, I could only grin at him. But .... Why is Algo always smiling like that and it makes me feel squeaky like a hot fish.

And ... wait! My forehead felt cold when he touched me. Hmmmm ... maybe it's the weather here, I mumbled.

"Come in!" Algo motioned me in with his facial and eyeball gestures. I nodded. I slowly stepped on my feet. I don't want what happened at Shite to repeat itself, my heart was beating fast on its own. What other surprises will I receive? I'm sure they have everything ready. The classroom door opened slightly and I peeked for a moment looking calm, everyone sat in their respective positions.

"What are you doing? Why are you still standing there, Fla."

I tiptoed to hear Algo's voice in my ear, I pulled my face. And Algo grabbed the door latch and opened it. He walked away from me and all eyes were on me. I smiled at them. My eyeballs are wild right and left looking for something, a bench. I didn't find it. I tried to go back and started walking. Algo has been sitting pretty in the front row. Damn ... he ignored me? Why?

Wasn't just a moment ago he was so nice to me. And now, he's ignoring me. My eyeball caught something, yeah ... on the left is an empty seat. I walked past a few students who were still looking at me strangely. My eyes widened when I saw a familiar face sitting in the back corner to the left. The figure of a young man I saw last night at my house came to my father's welcome party. I stopped for a moment looking at him, he seemed not to care about my arrival.

Oh my God… what class is this?

Why is everyone so indifferent?
