The car was moving fast, so I covered my body with a thick blanket that my father had prepared. It took a long time to get home. I'm so glad I'm finally back at my house and I've been allowed to go to school tomorrow. I really wanted to get home to meet my mother and I definitely miss Aunt Petti's cooking.
The car turned left and turned around before we saw our yard. Dad honked the car horn and found Mom and Aunt Petti and a few people standing on the front porch waiting for me to come. I smiled at them and dad stopped the car and turned off the engine.
