Chapter 2 - Taron 2

LEYZAAAAAA ....

LEYZAAAAAAAAA ....

LEYZAAAAAAAAA ....

All the people that night called out Leyza's name at the edge of the forest. Torch lights and a group of people walking down the hills of Gore Forest. But they were just around the edge of the forest and did not dare to enter.

There is a story that makes the people of Taron City not dare to set foot into the Gore Forest. It is said that anyone who enters the Gore Forest will not be able to get out safely, or maybe they will only remember his name. Only one person in Taron City made it out of the Gore Forest, Grandpa Mose.

He was the only person who managed to safely enter the Gore Forest. Because according to the story it is said. There was some kind of supernatural power over the Gore Forest, and he didn't like humans. Therefore, if someone enters the Gore Forest, he will never return.

According to the story again, the spirits in the Gore Forest never accepted their fate. So, they always look for friends as people of the Gore Forest to accompany them, according to the stories of Taron City people so far.

"Mr. Mose, are you sure your grandson will return with my daughter Leyza?" Yoza Coccus approached Grandpa Mose who was standing not far from him.

He was wearing a battered dark blue fur jacket with a scarf around his neck, a look of panic on his face. The wife, Mrs. Coccus stood holding her husband's hand in tears.

A woman about 40 years old, her slender face and white hair falling loosely along her neck.  It's red, blue, and yellow striped scarf with a black base around her neck. Her face was frozen in the night wind and a thick fog shrouded the city of Taron. She cried incessantly. She couldn't imagine her beloved daughter currently in the Gore Forest.

Mrs. Coccus' thoughts wandered. What if Leyza would never return for good. Leyza is still 5 years old, how could they have the heart to take their beloved daughter. Mrs. Coccus was still sobbing beside her husband. Yoza Coccus hugged his wife who was standing beside him. He understood how his wife felt. And in fact, he himself could not bear this fact.

Leyza had never once felt pain and distress like this. Her life is always fulfilled, and she never plays outside the house other than to school. Her days were always at home with her mother, Aunt Petti, and her hobbies were playing musical instruments and painting.

What can be done with children as old as Leyza and Tetra. They must be cold and hungry, and will they survive? In this weather. Mrs. Coccus grew more and more uncertain about the things that could happen to her daughter and Tetra.

"Relax Mrs. Coccus, I'm sure my grandson can bring Leyza home." Grandpa Mose pacified Mrs. Coccus.

The husband and wife were holding hands, they looked at each other. Their faces looked worried and frightened, Mrs. Coccus could not hide the worry and tension in her. Every now and then she looked at her husband who was beside her.

The peoples were also anxious and tense waiting for the arrival of Tetra and Leyza. They had searched for almost six hours around the Gore Forest and around all the hills around the Taron area, but they couldn't find either of them.

Yoza Coccus understood and thanked the peoples who had helped him find Leyza even though none of the Taron people dared to enter the Gore Forest. Until finally the search was stopped, because according to Grandpa Mose they were just wasting energy, he was sure his grandson Tetra could bring Leyza home safely.

Aunt Petti had joined the search for Tetra and Leyza. She could feel the sadness of Yoza Coccus and his wife because they had never let Leyza travel alone, especially at a time like this. She looked closely at Mrs. Coccus, what a pity. Aunt Petti pulled her sweater closer and clasped her hands together.

His lips were pale against the cold, not only him, but all the residents also looked pale with cold. That night the air was unusually cold. But the snow season is over. She approached Mrs. Coccus.

"Madam, shouldn't we just go inside the house. I can't bear to see Madam cold, I am afraid that Madam will be sick."

"I'm fine Aunt Pet, if you want to go back home that's fine" Mrs. Coccus's voice was hoarse. Aunt Petti couldn't force it.

"No, Madam. I want to wait for Miss Ley here with you guys."

"Alright Auntie Pet, thank you." Mrs. Coccus took her husband's hand and looked at each other for the umpteenth time. Mrs. Coccus' face was already pale, her cheeks and ears turned yellow. In fact, she shouldn't be exposed to the cold for too long.

Mrs. Coccus is suffering from a strange disease, she will not survive the cold.

Aunt Petti was worried about that. However, Mrs. Coccus persisted in wanting to be with her husband waiting for Leyza.

"Grandpa Mose, you believe your grandson can bring Miss Leyza out of that forest." asked Mr. Frigh while pointing at the Gore Forest amidst his worries with the rest of the citizens.

Because they were not unsure of what Grandpa Mose said. But seeing the weather tonight they were very worried about the condition of Tetra and Leyza.

"Relax, Mr. Frigh … I'm sure my grandson will be able to bring back Leyza."

Unfinished Grandpa Mose said the sound of scraping footsteps from within the forest and the trees moving. The people backed away with worried faces, but Mose's grandfather soon approached the origin of the voice.

"Grandpa Mose, wait." Yoza Coccus shouted to remind him. But Grandpa Mose signaled with both hands that all would be well.

All eyes turned to the forest and all the people were worried that it might be a wild animal that suddenly came because they saw the light of fire from the oil lamp they were carrying.

Yoza Coccus and his wife hugged each other; Aunt Petti took a few steps back as well as all the people were ready with their weapons that they carried perfunctory. Grandpa Mose walked slowly towards the source of the sound. The closer the sound of the footsteps became clearer, and the trees swayed more and more rapidly, making the sound of the rustling of the leaves.

"TETRA." Grandpa Mose was shocked to see the figure in front of him, Tetra slumped limply with Leyza on the ground helplessly, Grandpa screamed.

"Help us, Tetra and Leyza ..." several people ran towards Grandpa Mose as well as Mr. Coccus and Mrs. Coccus, still in shock Mrs. Coccus couldn't move quickly. Aunt Petti helped support Mrs. Coccus with her husband.

"Leyza ...." Mrs. Coccus cried trying to approach the princess by screaming hysterically but Yoza Coccus restrained her. He knew his wife would not be strong enough to see the condition of her beloved daughter.
