A car overturned on the road. A seven years old boy is standing next to a black sedan. In the car a woman in her thirty five years helpless with blood covering half of her face.
She didn't move, her body wedged between the car seat and the steering wheel. The boy with a frightened face held his breath. The atmosphere of the road is very quiet, it rained along the asphalt road. Not a single vehicle passed that road.
"Who's she?" the boy was startled when suddenly a woman stood beside him, her eyes wide. He looked back into the car and looked back at the woman beside him.
"Madam ..." the boy showed his hand into the car and the woman quickly approached the car and lowered her head, her body slightly squatted and poked her head into the car.
The woman's face was pale and also frightened, she took a few steps back while covering her mouth with both hands. She turned to the boy standing behind her. The boy stepped closer, and held the hand of the woman who was crying in disbelief at what she was seeing. The body in the car was himself.
"Really ..." he still couldn't believe what he saw.
The boy nodded.
Then the woman cried loudly, still not believing it. She approached the car door loudly banging on the car door and screaming hysterically in the pouring rain.
"Wake up ... wake up ... what are you doing ..." shouted the woman so hysterically.
Heavy rain and blazing thunder seemed not to hear her screams. The boy was still standing dumbfounded, his face looked pitiful to see the shock experienced by the woman.
The boy pulled the stiff body that was in the car with his left hand while his right hand gripped the woman's left hand. The woman was still standing shaken as she wiped her tears.
"Come on ... don't cry anymore. I will accompany Madam." said the boy.
The boy's innocent face made the woman touch, but she was still stunned to remember that his only daughter is currently with her husband in Shite many miles from where she is now. Her tears were still flowing.
"Really! What is wrong? Why should I? Flanella … What about my daughter? I can't possibly see her again. Flanella ... still needs me." She continued to say, her body slumped limply sitting on the ground, she lowered her head crying hysterically, both hands hitting the ground many times. Her shoulders shook, the boy could only stand still, staring sadly at the woman.
"Please help me … give me some time to be with my son ... I beg you." shouted the woman, seeing all that the boy looked panicked and scared. The woman in front of her turned hysterical and couldn't control herself.
"Madam, I beg you to control your emotions. I know to whom you must tell it all."
The woman wiped her tears and stared intently at the little boy holding both her arms. The child winced in pain.
"Let go of your hand madam. You hurt me."
"I'm sorry, quickly take me there." The woman said when she heard the boy's words, there was someone who could help him return to his daughter.
The boy nodded then after that they walked into the Gore Forest. They quickly walked and then disappeared into the darkness of the night only the sound of rustling leaves and the sound of the wind that could be heard after their departure.
***
Right in an old building with a high fence surrounding it. The dimly lit building looked uninhabited. The boy stopped and pointed at the old building in front of him.
They looked at each other, the woman still unsure of what the boy she had just met was thinking, standing beside her.
However, she thought of her daughter, and without saying a word he walked away leaving the boy into the old creepy looking building.
The woman with a frightened face walked on without looking back. Only one was on her mind. She wanted to go home as soon as possible. And the boy was still standing watching her.
The closer she got to the old building the more frightened the woman became, though she doubted what was in there and why she should follow what the boy she had just met said. However, she kept walking and did not care about the thoughts that now haunted her. One thing she had to think about right now was how she could return to her little family who was currently waiting for her.
Arriving at the woman in front of the gate of the old building, she held her breath and exhaled slowly, trying to calm down. Right in front of the door of the old building his right hand grabbed the cold door latch as the skin of his palm touched with the door latch.
Her heart was beating so fast, she didn't know what was in there. And without thinking with trembling hands she slowly opened the door. There was a loud squeak at the door.
A white light dazzled her vision and suddenly a movement with a super fast count grabbed her right hand and her body was blown away lightly. She spun around and out of fear she closed her eyes.
It was a long time before he finally felt her whole body warm and then she heard the sound of crying. However, the woman couldn't see it clearly, her eyes were still blurry until she finally opened her eyes and she couldn't believe what she was seeing now. She covered her mouth with both hands still glued.
The figure she recognized was lying stiffly in a long box made of lacquer wood with white lace trim and a beautiful woman wearing a white dress was lying in it with a deathly pale face and above her head stood a photo frame similar to the woman lying inside, the wooden box.
"This ... this ... impossible." The woman looked at the stiff body lying in the wooden box and then circled it.
"That's me?"
The woman walked around the wooden town and saw the people around her sadly wearing black clothes.
"Mom … Mom … Mom …" a little girl suddenly ran up to her, hugging her body. She couldn't believe what had happened.
Then quickly, the woman crouched down, her face looking happy when she saw her daughter recognized her.
"Oh my dear ... you're so beautiful." Who is the woman to the little girl?
"Mom … why did you come late?" The little girl smiled happily, still holding the woman's hand, looking very happy even though her cheeks were full of tears.
"I'm sorry dear!" said the woman.
They hug each other. And then the little girl took her mother's hand.
"Look Mom … Daddy sitting there alone." Her daughter said pointing the other way.
The woman couldn't hold back her tears. There was a tight feeling in her chest. She stared intently at the man she loved. And he walked over to her.
"My husband, I'm sorry."
She tried to touch her husband's shoulder but couldn't, she repeatedly called the man in front of her.
"Daddy ..." called the little girl to the father.
Her father turned and smiled and lifted her head, saw the little princess standing in front of him and he immediately hugged her.
"Daddy, Daddy, don't be sad. Look at this. I am with Mom, now." said the little girl with a happy expression.
The man was shocked to hear what his daughter said and he let go of the princess's body. Staring at him intently, what was his little daughter saying.
"Oh dear, you with your Mom?" The father asked the little girl, the daughter nodded happily.
"Is that true?" asked his father again.
The little girl nodded decisively, the corners of her lips tugging. Her father was a little confused, but his daughter was probably in shock so it was natural, that's what the man thought when he saw what his daughter was doing.
"You really saw it?" the father asked a third time.
"Yes Dad." replied his daughter and whispered into her father's ear.
"What are you talking about, my dear." said the father, bewildered at his little daughter.
The man looked confused because the princess had clearly said that she was with her mother, and now her mother was standing in front of them.
The man glared at the princess. Staring blankly to the right of his daughter, while the princess looked happy, her right hand seemed to be holding something as he watched her daughter.
'I can't let her down, I know right now my daughter is in shock. I would accept it as if I had seen her and felt that her mother was still with them.'
"Yes dear, I know," said the father to his daughter, shedding tears and hugging the princess.
"What are you doing? You can't see me at all and feel my presence. But why do you say that to your daughter?" the woman whispered to her husband, the woman standing beside her daughter protested, her face grim.
"Dad, how about I play and go for a walk with Mom first." Said the daughter, her father could only nod.
He didn't want his daughter to get hurt. So, he let his daughter do what she wanted to do with her broken and aching heart, the man sat limply on the ground.
"Mom, you know … I'm very happy. You can go home today." The little girl took her mother's hand, walking away from her father.
They enter the house. While the Father was speechless, he just wanted the princess not to be disappointed. Because he doesn't want his daughter to feel lonely and depressed by the reality that is happening to her right now.
'What have I done to my daughter …'
'I had to.'
'Sorry, my dear!'
