A man with green hair that went down to his shoulders runs through a hailing storm. His feet slushing through the water as he felt the cold hit against him. A burning light glowed through his eyes and nose as he trudges through the rain.
A white building lays ahead of him with light unable to escape from the black windows that give off an unforeseeable highlight. Not a single soul in sight.
The man runs up to the building while holding onto a brown leathered bag filled with gold that has been stolen from a nearby bank. He pushes open the door to see a woman with long straight black hair sitting at a marble desk. He goes up to the woman puts the wet bag onto the desk, "These are for him."
The woman looked at the bag with her orange eyes and picks up a vanilla cream-colored phone and dials up a number. She waits for a moment as she settles into a black leathered chair that can roll around on the marbled floor below her. The yellow dress unravels her curves as her red skin makes the yellow pop.
A deep masculine voice rings from the other side, "What do you want?"
"Mr. Harvest is here with the gold that you instructed him to get."
"I will come down to greet him, keep him there." The phone hangs up.
The woman puts down the phone and looks at the man before her, "He is coming down, Jack. Might as well get comfortable." She begins to go back onto her computer and begins typing.
Jack nods as he picks up the bag, "Thank you, Cindy." He turns and walks over to a couple of black leathered covered chairs that are nailed the spot. He sits on one of them and looks outside to see the storm hailing onto the unforgiving road. The running that he had to make was unbearable to do. He should have grabbed his horse, but he didn't want to risk someone that he loves getting hurt and not having a ride into town.
A nearby elevator beeped as a gargoyle muscular man wearing black and white stripped colored suit walks into the room. A smile forming on his face as he brushes back some of his long black hair. He stops smiling and looks over at Cindy, "Yellow looks awful on you. Tomorrow wear black. It will suit you better than that."
Cindy smirks at the man before her, "If you wish." She gets up from the desk and walks over to him. Putting a hand onto his chest as she gets pushed away from the man. She makes a pout face before walking back over to the desk to sit down at.
The man walks over to Jack with his arms out and the smile returning, "Jack! How is my favorite little thief?" He begins to sit down across from Jack as he uses his arms to lower himself into the seat.
Jack laughs nervously, "Oh you know, the usual. Trying to get my youngest daughter out of a mindset and help me out with stealing as per usual."
"Her hands would be beneficial for my company." The man says as he puts a hand into his pocket and takes out a cigar along with a lighter. He puts the cigar into his mouth and lights it as he stares at Jack with his beating red eyes.
Jack swallows down hard of air as he sets the bag down onto the floor, "She is only 22 years old; I don't think that she would like to join in what we do, Goliath."
Goliath smirks as he twirls the cigar in his mouth while the smoke escapes from his lips, "She will eventually."
Jack knows that Maribel has no intention of wanting to be a part of a mafia in any means necessary. He looks down at the bag, "I got you the gold, anything you want me to do with it?"
Goliath takes out the cigar from his mouth. As he stares at the cigar, "Take down to where we keep the diamond, but remember Jack. Touch the diamond and I will take away Maribel and your family's life." He gets up and heads back up to his office.
Jack looks at the bag for a short while and gets up. He grabs the bag and heads over to Cindy. He stops before he bumps into the desk, "I need the key to go down to the basement."
Cindy reaches into her desk and takes out a gold key with silver wrapped around, "Lose it and your lower half is mine."
Jack takes the key and smiles, "Thank you." He walks away from the desk.
Jack walks up to the elevator and pushes the down button. He waits for the elevator to open as he looks around. Little be known to him for the crime that he is about to commit.
The elevator door opens up and Jack walks into the small cube to see a few men getting off of the elevator. The small cube has tan walls with a mirror ceiling and a marble floor.
Everything in the building has a marble flooring. It makes Jack not want to be in the building any longer than he has to be already.
Jack presses a button to make the elevator to go down. The door close and the elevator begins to descend. Jack holds onto the bag tightly as he stares at the door before him. No one was making this easy and since Goliath just decided to tell him to go into the basement while still in the lobby was a bit suspicious. It felt as though Goliath wanted Jack to do something. Not sure what it is yet other than put the gold away, but it has to be something.
The elevator lands onto the basement level and the door slides open for Jack to walk out of. He examines the room to see some tall and body builder men standing in front of a red caged door with a lock on it.
Jack laughs and walks over to the red cage. Sweat going down his face, "J-Just putting some gold away since Goliath told me too." His laughing quickly dies down as he notices that the men moved out of the way so that he can unlock the door and go forward. Once he put the key into the door, he heard:
"For a little man, you got a cat scared in your pants."
Jack gulps down a piece of air that refused to go down. He knows that he is scared, but there is not much that he can do about it. He unlocks the door and pushes it open to see the golden diamond was in view.
A deep pounding feeling engulfed in Jack's throat as he pushes it down. Something inside of him woken up and it didn't want to go back to sleep.
Jack begins to walk inside as he turns around to see the men turn their back to him while the cage door closed loudly. It caused a loud clashing bang as Jack scarily walks over to a pile of gold. The gold came in all shapes and sizes.
Panicking, Jack takes out the gold that is inside of the leather bag and places it down onto the ground. Before he could take off, he turns his head towards the diamond and the gold that he had placed down. He begins to smile and walks towards the gold diamond...
Cindy types away on her computer as she looks up to see a girl with long curly green hair, it is Maribel Harvest. Better known as Jack's youngest daughter.
Cindy stops typing and looks at the girl, "Are you here for Jack?"
Maribel shakes her head, "I came here to talk to Goliath."
Before Cindy could say anything, a ring from her phone went off and she answered it, "Hello?"
"Send her up." Goliath's voice rings from the other line.
Cindy puts down the phone, "You can go up."
Maribel nods and thanks Cindy as she heads over to the elevator. Her long brown ankle dress flutters behind her as she walks. Her hair flies behind her until hitting against her shoulders as soon as she stopped walking.
Talking to Goliath was not what she wanted, but after thinking about it. She might not have much of a choice.
The elevator opens up and Maribel goes in. She clicks to go onto the 9th floor. Feeling the elevator going up, it made Maribel's stomach sick. Height isn't Maribel's biggest fan.
Once the elevator stopped moving and opened up again, Maribel walked through the door and walks down a black carpet marble hallway that leads up to a black glass door. She walks down the hallway and sees Goliath opening up the door for her.
Maribel hides a smile, "Thank you, Mr. Goliath."
Goliath watches Maribel walks over to his desk. A smirk crossing his face as he closes the door, "Anything that I can help you with?"
Maribel takes in a deep breath, "I wish to help my father in stealing for your company. It took me some time to think about it, but I would like to do so."
Goliath nods and sits behind his glass desk onto his black tall leather seat, "I appreciate you coming out here and especially in the rain for this interview, Ms. Harvest." He examines her body and notices that she is scared and tense. He lets out a deep breath, "I won't be having you steal for me. Your father alone does it good enough, but rather instead, I want you to be working for the tiny office that is attached to my own."
Maribel looks up at Goliath with her shining yellow eyes and smiles, "Thank you! This makes me so happy!" She gets up and bows to him before running off. Excited to tell her father about the accomplishment that she has gotten.
Immediately the alarm went off and Goliath got up, he notices that Maribel was almost about to get hit with an iron door. He opens up his demon-like wings and flew over to her. Catching Maribel before she got crushed by the iron doors.
Goliath looks down at Maribel, "You alright?"
Maribel nods.
Goliath let's go of her and walks over to the glass window to see Jack running in the distance with the guards chasing him. He looks over at Maribel mad before the iron door opens up to reveal Cindy on the other side.
"He got away sir!" Cindy almost practically yells.
Goliath walks past Maribel and Cindy, "Make sure that she doesn't leave this office."
Cindy nods, "Yes sir."
Goliath looks over at Maribel before pushing a button to let him fly down to his men. He screams at the top of his lungs, "LETS GO CATCH A THIEF!!" He flies over his men as they smirk and follow him out of a nearby window.
