Velder watched Ella practice her new ability. He had enough energy to suppress her aura and go out of the shield, inform Trent of where about, and return. Velder wanted Ella to learn how to use her ability very well so that when the time comes she will be able to protect herself if he couldn't.
"Come to me." The soul of the mouse came to her side. Ella clapped her hand happily. "I did it Velder!" "You did great My lady." Velder smiled back. "Ok, now ask the mouse to attack me," Velder said and Ella agreed. "Attack him." She commanded and pointed at Velder. The mouse dashed toward him at full speed.
Velder jumped over the rat, the rat dashed toward him again. Velder looked toward the door. "Someone is coming." Ella sends the soul back to its body. Velder packed the books and hid in her shadow. The door opened and Milli walked in with a tray of food. "Why are you here," Ella asked angrily. "Why the hostility?" Milli set the tray beside her bed. She felt an eerie presence in the room, it was the same as the one she felt in the same presence in the library.
"Did anyone enter this room?" Milli asked. "Yes, you." Ella ignored her and carried a book to read. "Are the books Lady Amorah sent to you to your liking?" Milli asked with a creepy smile on her face. "I would like it more if you leave. The door is right there." Ella covered her face with the book.
Milli clicked her tongue in anger. She stood up and strode to the door and stopped. "I have news to tell you." Ella lowered the book. "As soon as Trent returns to them, they are going to kill you after all you're not worthy of their son." She opened the door and abruptly closed the door.
"Did someone tell that bitch that I am itching to snap her neck into two" Velder came out of her shadow with a gloomy face.
"What does she mean by that?" Ella had a dreading feeling in the pit of her stomach.
Romulus, Elder Potter, and Cyrus were the only ones left. Acher is now an Elephant. "How did he get to him?" Romulus inquired. "Everything happened so fast." Cyrus was on his toes.
"He must be somewhere here." Romulus sat back on his chair.
"Is the time I end this Gaterial has been bothering to come back to the palace."
They could hear his voice but they couldn't see him. "Where are you?" Romulus glanced around. "I am beneath you." Romulus looked down, Trent's hand was on his leg and his eyes were glowing.
"My dear Elder Romulus, I chose a donkey for you because you're being a jackass." Romulus's ears turned donkey-like.
Cyrus and his grandfather threw their flame in different directions.
"So, it's true. With the presence of the dragon the Potter family can borrow and control its flames." Cyrus and Elder Potter kept firing around.
Cyrus felt two hands on his shoulders. "I chose a rat for you, because you made out with a rat, do not worry that will be our little secret." Elder Potter attacked but Trent teleported before it could hit him. Trent grabbed his hand. He stared at his glowing eyes. "I chose a tortoise for you because you are old.
Trent looked at his animal friends the frog, the cat, the dog, the elephant, the antelope, the pig, the lion, the donkey, the rat, and the tortoise.
Trent sighed heavily. His eyes glowed and they transformed to normal. Aurelia ran and picked up her clothes and ran far away from them as she cursed Trent in her heart. All of them were now dressed in their respective clothes. Joel furiously marched towards him. "Trent what you did isn't CROAK! CROAK!!" Joel covered his mouth and his pupils dilated. Everyone stared at him. Trent laughed at him. "Trent! I am also MEOW!" Aurelia gasped and closed her mouth.
"You guys are going to be making animal noises for a while." The angrily glared at Trent. His eyes glowed again and they all appeared in the palace. "Finally, you're here, why didn't answer me when I contacted you yesterday?" Gate bombarded him with questions. "Trent gave her a questionable look.
"Ariadna is dying." "What!!" Acher and Joel sinc.
They both ran in the direction of Ariadna's quarters. Trent's face paled. "You need to save her." Gate tried to get back his attention. "I cannot do that." "And why is that?" Isolde held her gown as she strode and stood in his front. "Why won't you help your sister?!" She yelled at him. "I do not want to put her in danger," Trent said. Isolde scoffed. "Are you doing this to punish me?" Isolde said.
"How would that be a punishment if I wanted to punish you, I would have done that a long time ago for all the bad things you did to me!" Trent shouted at her. "What I did to you, I tried to be nice to you but you kept shunning me away and being mean to me!" she shouted back. Augustus and his children arrive at the throne room and see the two arguing.
"You locked me up, you tried to poison me, you made Joel and Faithia hate me, you always treated me as an outcast and hated me since the most I stepped into this palace!"
"Father, shouldn't we stop them?" Joel asked.
"No, let them pour out all the anger and hate they have bottled up.
"I was in pain the man that I love was drooling over that witch and one day he brought a boy to me saying that he was his son with her! I was devasted. I didn't hate you, I just couldn't stand you at that moment. And you had to worsen the situation. By putting cockroaches on my bed and snakes or scorpions as my Christmas present, you even sent me a Die Soon gift card. And you have that annoying smile of hers. You made me want to kill you!!" Isolde was now breathing heavily.
"I I didn't know that was how you felt, I thought that you hated me, because of the fake smiles you threw at me when I came here and my mother read to me all those stories where the stepmothers are always mean and wicked to their stepchildren." Trent smiled the annoying smile she hated.
"I am sorry for all the heartache I caused you." Trent apologized. This surprised everybody in the room, including Romulus and the rest.
Isolde was too shocked to say anything at first. "I I aam also sorry for every wrong I did to you." She stuttered.
Trent opened his arms. "how about a hug." Isolde was in a stupor. "Mother." Everyone's eyes widened the room went quiet and still. Isolde was so shocked she couldn't say anything. "Did you just call me a mother?" Isolde stammered. Trent hummed and gestured for her to hug him. Isolde ran into his arm and tightly hugged him.
"I am sorry to interrupt your new-found relationship but we need you to save our little sister," Acher said and the rest agreed.
The door to Ariadna's room opened and they all went in. A maid brought a clean knife for him. "I do not need this. Where is Lydia?" Trent asked. "She's in her lab," Faithia replied to his question.
"I will go meet her, and have her teach me how to make a healing potion." Trent left the room.
Elijah has been unconscious for a day and a half. Elijha's eyes fluttered and he opened his eyes, everything was blurry at first but then his eyes adjusted to his surroundings. He sat up and noticed that he was the only one in the room.
The door opened and little Trent entered. "Uncle Barry, you're awake." The boy hopped on the bed and touched his forehead. "I am fine now, where's Angel and my family?" his voice cracked and he put his hand over his throat. "water, I need water." He coughed his throat was dry and sore.
"I will go and get Angel." Little Trent ran out of the room.
The entire family rushed into the room, and Rose assisted him in drinking the water. "I remember everything." Tears gathered in his eyes. "Where's Ella? Why isn't she here?" Elijah asked.
"she's on a secret mission, she works with HOJ," Ellis informed him. "Babe, she's the lady I told you about." Angel held his hand. "Ella has finally fulfilled her dream, I promised to be her partner if she got a job at HOJ." He smiled as he recalled it.
"Yes." I remembered that day too." Old man Patterson added.
"But Ella is a human. I thought they only accept females who are non-humans." Said Elijah."
"they made an exception with Ella." Ellis was happy for her sister.
"We should let him rest he just woke up." Edward drove everybody except Angel.
