"Trent, what are you doing here?" Ella looked guilty as she asked, but Trent ignored her, he laid on his back and kept staring at the ceiling. Ella looked around, she could see all the cameras. "The Cameras are…." "Don't worry I took care of it." Trent interrupted her, he lazily lay on his side as he stared at her.
"Let's get down." Before Ella knew what was happening, they were both on the ground close to the yellow container she entered earlier.
They heard footsteps approaching. Ella's heart hitched. "Trent let's run." Ella grabbed the sleeves of his shirt.
But it was too late, the guards have already surrounded them. Ella looked at the guards that surrounded them, and she felt fear pressed down her heart. The guards were not humans, some of them were vampires. Some were werewolves and other creatures she was not sure of. "Trent, what do we do?" Ella whispered to Trent who still had a smug on his face. "We have to fight them, what else can do." "There is no way we can beat them."
"Us, what us?" Trent teleported and sat on the container, the vampires and werewolves growled at him. They looked at Ella with murderous intent, since Ella was the weakest one here, they decided to pounce on her. "Blue justice!" a blue light portal appeared and Ella drew out her sword.
She used her sword to stab one of her attackers and he turned into ash. "Aren't you going to help me!?" Ella looked furious as her sword elongated her sword and it pierced into five guards.
"Since you came here alone, then you must be strong enough to fight them by yourself."
Ahhh! Ella screamed as the witch among them was able to grab her hand, the vampires and werewolves, looked at her hungrily as they rushed over to get the taste of the woman. Before their hands could grab their prey. She disappeared completely from their sight.
"Sorry, but I can't let you have a taste of my wife-to-be." They raised their head to look at Trent, the vampires bared their fangs as they hissed.
"Thank you, for almost letting me get killed." Ella sarcastically said. "You're welcome, we should do it again sometime."
Many of the guards leaped and landed on the container, Ella gasped as she tightened her grip around the hilt of her sword. The creatures rushed over to the more Ella attacked the more she noticed that the guards were no different than puppets. They do not defend themselves, nor fight. All they do was try to grab and bite.
"Trent, don't they...." Ella's breath hitched and her pupils constricted. She looked at the pile of bodies gathered in one place by Trent, their blood flowed out looking like a mini lake.
Another guard attacked and Trent crushed his face like he was crushing an egg and he threw him on the pile of bodies. "Why did you kill all of them?" Ella placed her right palm on her forehead and the other hand on her waist. "Why? Are you planning to invite them to a tea party?" he clicked his tongue, he swiftly carried and jumped down, Ella clutched his shirt out of fear, her heart was beating so fast, it will definitely be a world record.
Trent helped her stand on her feet. Her legs went numb and she almost fell, Trent held her tighter and he placed her hands on his shoulder, her brown eyes looked straight into his silver ones. "I know, what you were thinking, even if I let them live, it will be useless." His voice sounded rough. "Why." She looked sad. "Because they are already dead." Ella blinked her eyes she looked confused. "One more thing El, let it be the last time, you lie to me or do something this stupid." His voice was low and scary.
"ok." Ella nodded her head, her eyes were now teary. "You scared me El." Trent was trying to calm his raging anger so he smashed his lips into hers.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" they stopped kissing and turned and saw Cyrus looking as pale as a ghost.
EARLIER.
Cyrus turned in the report of a case he was done with when Romulus's secretary informed him that Romulus was looking for him. Cyrus made his way to Romulus's office, he knocked on the door. Romulus told him to enter. He strode into the office and was asked to seat.
"Good evening Elder Romulus." "Good evening Cyrus. I sent Samuel to the Garrison warehouse." Cyrus creased his brows. "May I ask why sir?" "We believe that they are hiding bodies in the warehouse." Cyrus's frown deepened. "I cannot explain everything to you but I need you to back him up, Trent and Courtois will join you." "Yes sir." Cyrus bowed his head before leaving.
Once he reached the warehouse, he noticed that they were no guards outside, Cyrus sneaked in, hid behind the containers, and he kept moving forward, but there were no guards. Cyrus decided not to hide anymore and kept checking the containers, the gore he saw was something he could never forget. Some of the bodies, and body part was missing, and some of the people died because their blood was drained out. Cyrus took pictures of the bodies, the inside of the warehouse, and the containers.
He kept walking further into the warehouse when he recalled the rumors of Trent and Samuel being gay. He chuckled and shook his head at the absurd lady. then he saw Trent and Samuel looking at each other intimately, they were so close to each then they started kissing each other. Cyrus felt like his heart was electrocuted with a thousand watts of electricity, he felt like his brain had shot down.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" he screamed. Trent smirked while Ella looked shocked.
"How could you? what is this? Why did you?" Cyrus kept pointing at the two of them, he didn't know what to say. "It is not what you think?" he looked at Samuel who spoke to him with disgust. "How could you do this to your sister? And you how can you be in a relationship with a brother and sister?" Cyrus clenched his fist. "Why can't I have them both?" Trent said before Ella could even utter a word.
Cyrus was so shocked that he could not utter a word, he felt like he was about to have a heart attack from shock. "I cannot believe this, you two disgust me, I am going to inform Ella about the two of you." He removed the phone from his pocket. "am I late for the show." Courtois smiled as he stood next to Cyrus, the clothes he wore were all glittering and vibrant.
"These two bastards are dating!" Cyrus' eyes have turned red due to anger. "I am the only bastard here, Cyrus." Trent clicked his tongue, and Cyrus sent him a death glare. "And why are you even angry, I thought that Trent and Ella had broken up." Courtois leaned on a container as he spoke. Cyrus's eyes widened. He was happy that the two aren't together anymore but why did Trent have to be in a relationship with her brother? "Is that why, you broke up with her because you wanted to be with her brother?" Cyrus asked. "Bingo, I should give you a reward." Courtois couldn't help but chuckle. Cyrus looked at her. "Sam, I thought that you are a sensible person, I didn't hate you, I envied the innocence in you, you knew what you were doing and you connected with the people you saved, like Adam. But never in my wildest dream did I ever see you doing this to your own sister." Cyrus turned around to leave.
Ella's eyes were filled with tears and guilt. "Wait!" Cyrus stopped he turned around because of the voice, it sounded just like Ella's. She removed the wig, and her beautiful brown curly hair rolled down her back. Cyrus was so shocked he fainted.
He slowly opened his eyes and closed them back because of the harshness of the light. "wakey, wakey, eggs, and bacon." He frowned when he heard the familiar voice. He sat up and glared at Trent who had a huge smile on his face.
Ella and Courtois walked into the room. "Thank God you're okay." Ella looked relieved. "I want to know, everything," Cyrus said. Ella contemplated for awhile
Before she decided to tell him. She told him of her real, identity and how she decided to join the organization to prove her father's innocence. The room became silent after she was done with her narration. "You are not going to tell on her are you?" Trent asked Cyrus as he sips his glass of whiskey. "No, I won't but if you need my help all you have to do is ask." He smiled lovingly at Ella. Trent's face darkened. "Thank you." She felt like a huge burden has been lifted off her shoulders.
Back in the palace. Ariadna read the message sent by Cyrus again. She sighed before raising her head to look at the crescent moon from her window.
"As promised, I will be out of your hair before you know it." She murmured to herself whilst rubbing the little bump.
