Upon saying he would give her an answer tomorrow, he stormed off the pub before Ashley could say something.
Ashley sighed as she wondered why Evan was so upset, 'What is wrong with learning how to defend yourself?'
Gilbert got up from his seat and walked towards Ashley.
"Don't worry about her, Ley. He's only concerned about you getting hurt." Gilbert reassured her.
"But why? I want to learn how to wield the sword to protect myself. "
"Wielding a sword requires endurance and patience. Your body will experience a lot, and you might get wounded."
Ashley looked at her hands as she caressed her scars, "I've endured pain and wounds for the past years. It's nothing new to me."
Gilbert sighed, "That's exactly why he is refusing."
Ashley frowned as he looked at him again, "What do you mean?"
