Ashley shook her head again as she held her forehead in both hands, making her cap fly. Another flash of memory came to her.
She fell into the water and struggled to swim up to the surface. It was like her dream, but it was now from her point of view. Eventually, Ashley felt out of breath and passed out underwater.
Another memory flashed when Ashley opened her eyes and was still underwater. She realized she could breathe again and thus swam back toward the surface when she saw someone enter the water.
It was that child from the cliff. The child swam towards Ashley, and she saw the blonde hair shining with the light coming from the surface.
When the child reached her, Ashley saw the child was a boy. He grabbed her hand.
Her memory ended, and Ashley felt dizzy. She felt her eyelids get heavy, and her vision was blurry.
