Gilbert yawned as he waited secretly in a dark alley for the targets to come. Then the events at the pub crossed his mind again. The way his Master glared at him when he found out he was there scared him so much that he thought it was his end.
"Who would buy that excuse if he had that look when he saw me?" Gilbert smirked.
"He looked like a beast ready to devour someone who entered his den," Gilbert muttered, then shivered.
As he was busy talking to himself, a man covered in black cloth all over his body except the eyes appeared out of nowhere and said, "They have arrived, Sir."
Gilbert got startled and switched to a defensive position., "I'm just joking!"
The shadow stood still while looking at Gilbert. When Gilbert realised it wasn't Evan, he cleared his throat and fixed himself. Then he asked, "Did you say they had arrived?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Then proceed with plan A."
